Honestly, this place is useless and I’d give a 0 star if I could. There is no way that I called at 10am to have a car towed and I ask what time the tow truck would come and they said 30 minutes. Great, I wait and nothing so I decide to come into my apartment considering that someone is parked in a parking spot that I pay for and on top of that I had to park in a future resident spot for the meantime. It was 1pm and of course the vehicle parked in my spot got lucky. There is no way that the car sat around from probably even before 10am (when I actually got home) because I was out of the house for only an hour. I called an hour and a half later to figure out where they were (11:30am) and I was told that the tow truck was stuck on a sight with cops what so ever and they would be over in the next 45 min. Great… I wait an extra 45minutes+. It is now nearly 2:30pm and of course not a single tow truck came. Respectfully, it should not take over 4 hours to come and tow a car. I’m too much of a nice person and try to not tow people but sometimes enough is enough and if we call in then you guys should come and actually do your job and get your money up. I have given the company the benefit of the doubt cause I’ve called before for another incident and you guys still take forever to come and tow a car. Our building management has told us residents to specifically call YOU guys. Next time, I’d probably consider somewhere else since this company can’t even show up when we’re needing them.

I am giving 2 stars for one reason and that was the woman who was working in the office of the Salem MA location. She was helpful and professional. It is not her fault that she works for a company who extorts (customers). I fell into this category this morning when they stole my vehicle and held it for 187 dollar ransom plus a "convenience" fee of 7 dollars because I used a credit card. That young woman did however go above and beyond to help me through the process of paying your ransom and getting my property back.

Your tow truck driver in seaport is abrasive and hostile. Two days in a row now I’ve seen him screaming at people and throwing a tantrum. I get that there are badly parked cars but there’s never an excuse to have the attitude that he has.

I called to ask a simple question with a lady on the phone and she was already incompetent with answering any of my basic questions. She also possesses a serious attitude problem. I hope she addresses her problems outside of work, but her professional manner while handling customer inquiries is pathetic

The staff is extremely rude and never owns up to their mistakes! I have a resident sticker and they still towed my car. They forced me to pay and the employee was very abrupt with no coherent explanation. Terrible service and abuses.

The worst tow of Massachussets... the Attendant seems to hate her work, always rude and the til, without the slightest will to solve the problems. I came to pick up my car and she said she could only pick it up if the tow truck was present... the tow truck arrived and she made me wait for more than 1 hour until she released my car. Total disrespect with customers

Towed my car from highway to nearest parking lot. The guy broke my door handle and said he tried to open the door and it broke. Maybe wait for people to unlock the car before you knock the door handles down.

Incompetent, took forever to return my car, and I’ve witnessed their tow truck drivers driving recklessly multiple times, almost causing accidents (maybe to drum up business?) and blowing through intersections and crosswalks. It’s dangerous especially in our residential neighborhood!

Very aggressive driver on the streets of Boston. Does not obey stop lights. Tries to intimidate other drivers on the road by his size.

I mean what's there to say? They are reliable and consistent. Without failing, every first, second, third, and fourth Thursday of the month there they are. Did I forget to move my car for street cleaning? Don't worry about it. Like a good neighbor Todisco is there. They'll move it for you. You just need to pay around $145 convenience free or "towing" fee as they call it. The City obviously wants in on their good work. The City leaves a little love letter reminding you of what they view as a little automotive oopsies. They always send it in this cute bright orange envelope. It's adorable, but also let small businesses shine. No need to take credit for other people's work.

Unfortunately, my car was towed in Boston for street cleaning at 10 a.m., so I went to pick it up at noon and was charged a full day's parking fee. I ended up paying $180. When I drove my car, I noticed that the driver's door was making a lot of noise and was dented, meaning I think someone broke into my car! Then I remembered that as soon as I unlocked my car, the steering wheel was locked, and I never leave it that way. I've suffered two losses, one of which I've already paid for, and now who's going to be responsible for the damage to my car? Was it really necessary to damage it? This is absurd! The employees were rude to me, making me feel like trash. I'm sad and outraged because Boston is such a big city, but I can't believe they allow these companies to do this to their residents. Is there no oversight here? I'm very, very disappointed.

Found myself having to deal with this company today. Spoke with Nicole who made the whole process very relaxing and professional. She was a consumate professional at all times. Thank you

Boston contracted tow company. Damaged my car in the process, with a screw missing from the front license plate and a large midline scratch across the hood and front bumper. They dont exercise care when they tow. They also charge $58 "certified mail fee" for a letter to notify that your car was towed. Mike or whatever his name is has the most irritating unpleasant voice you'll hear. Literally go with any other tow company and it'll be better than these guys.

This company is predatory and aggressive. They do not like being called out and they will threaten you with all sorts of claims to try and stop you from fighting them. They clearly violate the involuntary tow laws and every negative review on here speaks volume to their “ethics” that they value.

I had my truck towed to Todisco Towing and I spoke to a night shift personnel called Graciela on the night of 8/4/2025 who was super rude and unprofessional while I was trying to ask questions as to the process of getting my truck out of their yard. As I asked questions as to the process required to get my truck back, Graciela was laughing out loud condescendingly with another male staff on the night shift who could be heard laughing out loud as well in the background while I was on the phone with her. She hanged up on me intentionally at least 7 times while I was asking questions as to the process in getting my truck . Graciela was a complete customer service nightmare to talk to about getting my truck back as she impatiently rush-read me her company email intentionally and told me I was not the only customer so I should not waste her time and she hanged up on me . She hanged up on me multiple times later when I called back and when she picked up, she was laughing out loud with another male staff who could be heard laughing his lungs out while I was trying to ask questions about how I could retrieve my Truck and the process required. This is the worst experience I have had talking to a service representative on the phone. Such unwarranted unprofessional and condescending behavior is never acceptable in any given workplace. I will be reporting this to the proper authorities and to the Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU). The bill for a 6 mile tow to their location was over $4,400 USD. This definitely is extremely above current market price for a tow of that distance. Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU) will definitely be hearing from me about this.

I had my box truck towed approximately 6 miles and was charged an exorbitant $4,469. Initially, I spoke with Fran, who was helpful and respectful. However, when I followed up a few hours later to arrange pickup to a mechanic, I was met with extremely unprofessional and disrespectful behavior from another staff member — I believe her name was Graciela (with another male employee). She was condescending, repeatedly hung up on me, and even laughed in the background with others while I was asking legitimate questions about the process. This level of customer service is unacceptable and concerning, especially when paired with what appears to be a highly questionable towing fee. I will be reporting this to the proper authorities. Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU).

We flew in from Ireland and my truck broke down on the way to the airport, leaving my friend stuck. AAA failed to show up, Mike from Todisco helped us tremendously by scheduling my truck to be towed and ensured I was kept in the loop. He went above and beyond. Highly recommend Todisco towing!

Joey provided excellent and quick service when our call died in the Ted tunnel. He was pleasant and professional and got us home safely. Thank you Joey!

We were broken down in Boston from New York in a shuttle bus. Jody helped us not only arrange the tow truck in a holiday but offered to help find a repair shop. Great service!

I’m extremely disappointed with the unprofessional and disrespectful customer service I experienced. The staff were rude, unhelpful, and seemed to have no interest in resolving my issue. Instead of assisting me or offering any courtesy, they acted as if I was a burden. It’s clear that customer satisfaction is not a priority for this company. I expected better treatment and basic decency—something severely lacking in my interaction with Todisco Towing. I won’t be recommending their services to anyone.

Towed (or rather, stole) my car AFTER street cleaning hours had ended. Now, Todisco towing cars illegally parked during street cleaning hours is fine (that’s their job). I wouldn’t complain if that was the case. However, I followed the times on the street sign perfectly and yet my car was still taken. I’m expected to pay up when I followed the law?

My car was towed for street sweeping violations. According to Massachusetts law, the legal amount a towing company can charge is $132 plus $35 per day for lot storage. Additional fees may be assessed, but they must be reasonable and justified. THIS COMPANY CHARGES $50+ per vehicle owner to send "Certified Mail" confirming they have possession of the vehicle. They DO NOT provide the required 24-hour notice before sending this mail. If your car remains overnight, that alone is sufficient for them to charge you an extra $100 for two certified letters. The employee at the counter informed me that I needed to pay the full bill before I could see an itemized receipt. I would only have the "privilege" to see what I was paying for after the payment went through. I believe this violates consumer protection laws that require businesses to provide clear pricing information before requesting payment for services. This company also charges 3.7% to use a debit card. Having worked as a merchant services provider for a local bank, I know the law strictly prohibits companies from profiting off transaction fees. This company is either illegally taking profits from card processing fees, or they have chosen an extremely poor processor to circumvent existing regulations. Even the city never charges above 3% for similar services. If this company can justify the itemized costs - labor, paper, printing, and certified mail expenses - that total $50+ per letter, I will reconsider this review. However, if they cannot legally justify charging over $100 to consumers for a service that costs under $20 to provide, I will proceed with the case already pending with the Transportation Oversight Division regarding these business practices. The Transportation Oversight Division already has this information on file. If the company claims they use USPS services, I'm prepared to involve them in this matter as well. The confusing explanations and evasive answers feel more like a circus act than professional business practices. Have a wonderful day!

I would give more than 5 stars if I could. Long story short, on 6/8/25, my boyfriend and I had just finished putting all my things into storage after an exhausting weekend, and as we were filling up the U-Haul with gas, the truck suddenly wouldn’t start. Completely dead. It was the last thing we needed, and we were overwhelmed and stressed. That’s when we spotted Joey across the street and asked if he could help and honestly, I don’t know what we would have done without him. Joey went above and beyond. He immediately stepped in, assessed the situation with so much patience and care, and stayed with us the entire time. He even spoke directly with U-Haul roadside assistance on our behalf, making sure we were taken care of and eventually towing us safely back to U-Haul. What could have been an incredibly frustrating and chaotic situation felt so much lighter thanks to Joey’s presence. He was calm, kind, helpful, and clearly knew what he was doing. I felt completely safe and supported in his hands. Joey is the kind of person who restores your faith in people—he truly made a huge difference in our day, and we are beyond grateful. He deserves every ounce of praise, recognition, and all the raises! Thank you so much, Joey. You were a blessing.

My car was towed while I was in BMC pharmacy & yes it's 100% MY fault for not parking in a garage BUT it was towed to Norfolk Ave, a 5 minute ride away, my car was on their lot for 45 minutes yet I paid/was charged for an ENTIRE DAY! $170 DISGUSTING!! Scammers/Greedy! Awful

I was in a terrible car crash and my car ended up getting towed here. I was unsure of the process on getting my car released to me. After an entire night in the E.R. I was exhausted and stressed but Grace was very helpful with the process. Her and another gentleman at the counter greeted us right as we walked in. Since I live almost 2 hours away, Grace was able to arrange a pick up and tow to my residence without me having to sit around and wait for hours. I very much appreciated her help. My car ended up arriving to my home not too long after I git there. Excellent service! Thank you!

Horrible experience here! After a car crash car was towed here, after going through all hospital and figuring where the car ended, came here to figure out how to take the car out, first person that took care of me was really nice and understanding of the situation (tried to help-sorry don’t remember her name) but after that there were 2 others that make the situation worst, living hell experience, treating us like garbage! Even one of them got nasty attitude towards me! After going through a car crash and paying fee to be able to get that car out of there, these people doesn’t have manners or a lil bit of empathy of the situation, I understand working in this kind of environment is a lil overwhelming sometimes but that doesn’t have to take the human part of it! They should teach this people how to be polite cause clearly most of them lack of it! I wish they don’t have to go through things like we were that day! Kudos to that First Lady that took care of us the first time, wish I have here name so they can keep her and teach the other 2 how customer service is done!

Got towed off the mass pike since they have the contract which is a crime in itself. Was willing to pay to get towed directly to my house. instead got dropped off at a gas station charged 276 and was told to call AAA. Pretty sad to treat a paying customer that way just to make more money with ripping people off towing them off the pike.

On top of the generally disliked nature of this business, they only accept the payment through a QR code which comes with a long checkout process, invoice number, exact amounts, service fees, etc.

Very professional from office staff to tow staff. Whenever I need the job done right I count on Todisco Towing to make it happen, whether it's my own vehicle or the equipment I need moved at, to and from the airport.
