absolutely terrible company. offered only cash and obviously nobody is happy with getting towed, but everything about this was very sketchy and the driver, reggie, was incredibly rude and intimidating, giving us 5 minutes or less to figure everything out or he would tow us.
My apartment complex unfortunately partners with D&D Towing, and my experience with them was awful. I pay for parking, yet the entire lot was full of cars that clearly weren’t supposed to be there, which should never happen since D&D is supposed to be doing regular checks to prevent this. When I called, they said it would take an hour to arrive—which was frustrating but manageable—but the real issue was the customer service. Monica, the woman I spoke to, was shockingly rude, dismissive, and completely lacking in empathy. Instead of helping, she cut me off, acted annoyed that I even called, and made me feel like I was the problem for asking them to do their job. After a long day, the last thing I needed was to be talked down to and treated with such disrespect. Between the lack of enforcement, the delays, and Monica’s nasty attitude, I have no interest in ever working with this company again, and if you have any choice at all, I’d suggest calling literally anyone else.
If there was a zero stars option I would choose that. I am fine with the fact that I got towed, but when I showed up to get my car they told me I had to pay cash because the tow was ordered by a “private property,”; I guess a public elementary school is a private property? I’ve been towed from this same place before and I used a credit card to pay, no problem. Debit wasn’t accepted either. After walking all the way to an ATM and back they could not make change, so they got to keep an extra $12. When asked if I could come back later for the change once they have it, they said no and I couldn’t get it after leaving the lot and there was no reasoning with them. They are scammers. This company is absolutely deplorable and I hope see their business crumble.
Will illegally hold your belongings. Christina is extremely unprofessional. Obviously no one wants to have their car towed, however, basic respect goes a long way and Christina who answered the phone wouldn’t let me get a word in and also was screaming at me. These people are thieves. Managment needs to do better.
Obviously when your car gets towed you aren’t usually happy with the towing company. But when you call ahead to ask about credit or debit and they say ‘both work’ and then arrive 4 minutes later and they say ‘the machine is down’, but you still can’t have your car back, that is indicative of a lousy company. A good company would give you the care and send an invoice. This has happened multiple times, in addition to having the car buried behind 6 other vehicles (same day as the tow), meaning I had to wait for 30 minutes in my car while they moved cars around.
If you want to be treated like trash and be disrespected make sure to get towed by this company. Looking at the reviews is insane how this company is still in business. I do admit we parked in the wrong spot and didnt mind paying whatever amount they asked us to get our car back but the disrespect by the staff, the cracked windshield in my car and they have the we accept cards in the window but wont take car only cash nd bump the price if they dont like you.

Woman at the desk was abhorrent and the place reeks of cigarettes. She also claimed calls were recorded when there was no disclosure - which is illegal should this be occurring. I could go further but it's evident from the majority that this establishment is dreadful.
Bring the police when you come to pick up your car. They lie about credit cards. And say only take cash when it’s clearly posted otherwise. They jack up the price if you say anything because you’re rude. They threatened my car. My life and police didn’t care. Must be a Boston racket with these people.

Terrible experience with this towing company. Lady at the front desk has a horrible attitude when it comes to customer service. I needed to get a couple documents from the inside of my vehicle after a car crash and they would not allow me to retrieve the necessary paperwork from inside to start the process of the crash reports. They won’t let you inside your own property for simple personal items. Horrible customer service, no interpersonal communication skills when dealing with people who are already dealing with a stressful situation.
Was visiting friends last fall from out of state & got my car towed. I’m not mad about getting towed, as we were parked in a spot that we shouldn’t have been. However, when we went to pick up the car from getting towed, the entire back windshield along with the back right light was completely smashed out, as well as the wiper and back up camera. We know that it was done from this towing company, because the spot we were parked at pre- towing was end- to- end with another car the entirety of our stay, so there was no possible way someone could have come up and broken our rear view windshield. After reading endless reviews of damage done to other cars done from this tow company was just the icing on the cake. Despite all of this, we remained calm and kind with Glenn. I will say that he seemed genuinely sorry for us, and promised us that his boss would be in contact regarding everything the following day (which I really do appreciate his effort.) However, we never heard a word and it has now been 11 months lol…… which I can’t say comes as a surprise at this point. Just honestly disappointed- the fact that we had to pay for a new windshield, tail light, camera & motor out of our own pocket due to this company’s own fault. This may come as a surprise, but it is actually possible to be a halfway decent tow company. If we had gotten a call, explanation and reasoning why this happened and some kind of closure would be greatly appreciated. This entire experience was just beyond disappointing. It is disgusting that a business can continually get away with smashing cars & nothing is being done about it.
The ladies In The office are straight to the point . My grief is with the white man i guess helping the tow trucks . I just needed the address since I’m not from the state and he yelled at me about everything else . I just needed the address . Getting towed is already stressful , you don’t need to yell at people .

Literally the WORST experience I had with these people. I got my car towed there and needed important items the woman there told me I’m not allowed back IN MY CAR. I had to call the police so I can get to my car. She is a nasty disrespectful person even was rude to my insurance guy who came to pick it up. Her and her lap dog employee need to be shut down and sent to hell
Scratched my two week old car with 1,000 miles.
I’ve also heard of other people having their car scratched.
Tow driver was clearly under the influence of drugs or alcohol.
Front desk lady was rude and had no empathy for my situation.
Manager is hard to get a hold of. Apparently they arrive to work at noon and can’t be bothered after 5pm.

Had my car towed (on me) but had a great experience when picking it up. Got the pleasure of meeting Glen who turned my day around. Guy was one of the kindest I’ve met and helped me out quickly. Pleasant surprise
After reading these reviews, I think alot of them have to do with the attitude of individuals coming in.
I drive a BMW 330Xi and was towed in South Boston, due to not moving my car when street cleaning. I was understandably nervous that my car would be damaged in the process and that the experience would not be positive. This is solely based on reviews here.
However, I was greeted nicely when I walked in and Glenn was super informative. The process took all of 10 minutes from paying to leaving the lot.
My car was towed by a flatbed truck no damage was done to my vehicle, no battery disconnected, no scratches and nothing was stolen or looked through.
All and all, it’s not their fault and I am happy they took care of me and my car in a professional manner
By far the most rude, disrespectful, unprofessional people I’ve ever dealt with. Just lacking basic human decency and empathy — these people will laugh in your face, humiliate you, and ruin your day. Just disgusting, shame on these individuals for running a “business” or whatever you want to call this place in the way that they do. Oh and to make your life a tad bit harder, they only accept cash and will not provide you with change if necessary. Asked to simply grab my sweatshirt from the car while I waited for a friend to bring me cash (with their supervision), and was denied access to grab a sweatshirt… in the cold. Overall a pathetic establishment and embarrassing set of staff.
My car battery died at 3AM in the morning. D&D was able to get a flatbed out within 15-20mins. Bruce is the man. Professional, quick and knew exactly what to do. We were out of there within 10 mins and I was home in another 15 mins. Overall turned a bad situation to a positive one! Definitely will use them again!
If I could give 0 stars I would. My car was towed in South Boston and cost $147.00 (in CASH), forcing me to go to the 7/11 across the street to a random ATM at the worst hour of the night. On top of this, my right side suspension was broken when they towed my car causing me to spin out on the highway, and the broken suspension causing $1,200 in damages. Horrible horrible service.
Bunch of thieves. I picked up my car after getting towed and all the stuff that was in my glove compartment was rummaged through and on the floor of my car. Center console with a bunch of coins was picked clean. Center glove box was also emptied. I asked the lady at the front desk pretty politely about it, and she gets extremely rude, starts throwing a tantrum, and starts screaming. What a joke of a “business”
Anyone writing more than a 1 star review is a fake review. This place is single handedly the worst. I was told my car was at the location, I ubered there, approached the worker and was told to give him 5 minutes while he watched tv. I then walked out to the yard to see if my car was there and was greeted with profanaties for checking. Once granted access to see if my car was there, he followed me as if he was a police officer and it wasn't even there. He then told me to kick rocks and that he was happy I had no idea where my car was. Its one thing to be rude, its another thing to blatantly lie and then act like you weren't in the wrong. PLACE SUCKS
got my car towed friday , and the price of the tow to get my car out was 148.50 and when i picked it up not even 4 hours later they upped the price to 257 dollars. on top of that me and my grandmother were treated very poorly, disrespected and talked to in a very nasty manner. i was asking questions and the guy that was working in the office told me " the more i talk the longer hes going to take to fill the paperwork out" knowing it was late and car needed to be transported to an autobody shop . have been calling for days to complain and cant get a hold of anyone or a supervisor . i would give 0 stars if there was an option for that
