Arguably the worst experience i’ve ever had. My car got towed because it was parked on a “street cleaning” day (which is stupid in general and the street still looks bad). I called to pick it up and they said I can come anytime before 11pm and pay $170. I get there around 9:45 and it was a ghost town. I called and they said it would be 30 minutes, it wasn’t. I was outside by myself in a sketchy ally for almost an hour. Absolutely ridiculous. And then to top it off, I had to pay in cash (their ATM is a piece of garbage also) because my plates were out of state which makes no sense at all. This place sucks.
This company accepted a call from AAA, then claimed the truck would not fit inside the garage. I told them several times I had previous trucks come out for this tow without an issue. The truck did not even approach the garage to check the size, just drove two streets over and refused. So frustrating - terrible service from Elder G
Had a blow out on Storrow Dr in a rain storm while on the way to my mother in CICU at MGH. The driver was so fast and super helpful. Took my keys and sent me on my way to the hospital. My car was delivered to the dealership with not trouble. D&G was wonderful in my time of need.
Driver was patient and helpful. He ensured that I arrived at the dealership and knew where to park my car before leaving. My only reservations is that he didn’t come to check my tires beforehand and inflate the flat tire before asking me to drive on it.
Illegally Towed our car while shopping at Walgreens in East Boston. Then held it for Randsom of the 260.50. Why the random number you might ask. Well its 250$ for stealing our legally parking car. Then if you don't have the cash. They kindly provide a ATM. But not so fast you can only take out 200$ at a time. So they turn the screws for every penny of the blood money they steal from you
When you least expect a breakdown that's when it happens in AAA always has your back. Courteous and professional drivers arrive to take care of your needs but only $10 a month the services they offer are boundless why wouldn't you want a membership
No one is expecting a towing company to have rave reviews because no one likes getting their car towed. However what concerns me about these folks is their shady business practices once you do go to pay and pick up your car. If they tow your car on behalf of the city, you will need a receipt in order to dispute the ticket and hopefully get a refund of the towing fees if you prevail in the dispute. But their receipt includes a waiver of all liability including any damage to your car. They will try to hold on to your credit card or license until you sign this combined receipt and waiver. I told them the waiver provision in the receipt was not legal. I was willing to sign the receipt and acknowledge that they had given me back my vehicle with all my possessions but drew a line through the waiver clause. That's when the big manager came out and told me they would not give me a receipt at all. In retrospect, I should have signed it, cross out the waiver and immediately taken a photo for myself. Then let them decide if they want to illegally try to hold my ID after they were already paid. They will also try to demand your phone number when there's no legal reason why they need it. Since leaving their office, I've gotten at least 10 spam calls... coincidence?
My car wouldn’t start after parking it in a parking garage with a low clearance. I called AAA, and they sent D&G to tow it out. They were able to work with the difficult situation.

Not the best at all. I called about a car parked in front of my parking spot and he said someone is coming out there, called back after 30 minutes with him getting mad at someone else int he background and said it will take another 30 minutes, proceeding to tell me "ma'am park your car on the street and go inside" after I told him I am parked in front of other resident parking as well. Why would I put MY car on the street when i am assigned a parking space in for my apartment building? just nonsense.. and frustrating
Incredibly rude over the phone. Got hung up on after being told a “manager” would call me the next day, because I noticed that they ruined my car traction with the way they towed my car and didn’t want to take responsibility for it. Got defensive and began to yell at me because I simply asked for them to repeat my phone number back to me to confirm that they had it. Completely unprofessional and unacceptable.
My car broke down in Brighton ,an area I don't know well, and I was panicking . It was 105 degrees and that wasn't the real feel. The driver came in about 20 minutes and dropped me off at Dunkins to wait for my ride. Thank you so much!
One of the towing companies, which seems to be protected by the law, towed my car after it was stolen. The thieves had taken the key, so I brought a mechanic to help start the vehicle. The company told me I had to pay $250 for them to move the car outside the lot before any repairs could be done. I paid the fee, but they never moved the car. Instead, they allowed the mechanic to go inside the lot and fix it there. Now they refuse to refund the $250 I paid for a service they never provided.I will file a complaint in Massachusetts Department of Public Utilities (DPU) first thing tomorrow morning and I will file another complaint in police department that the charges unfairly
Literally the worst experience I've ever had at a row yard. The pickup process took almost an hour, the longest I've ever experienced picking up from a tow yard - previous pickups have taken 1-10mins, and each person was dismissive along the way. It took 5 people 50 mins to get access to my vehicle.
These people are criminals. The city of Boston called them to release a vehicle and they refused. They literally said that the city can't enforce it and said call 911. The cops then said that they're a private company and Boston police can't do anything to them. They must be bribing the local police because the city of Boston said that's untrue. They try and force you to sign a paper so they can't be held liable for damages. These people are straight thugs and criminals. Lowest of the low.
Incredibly rude. Got towed along with many cars due to unclear signage after my hockey game. I called and they were SO rude. Told me it’s 3 minutes to the garage but Google maps said 14. (A long walk with heavy hockey bags) The lady said “oh by walk?” - of course… you towed my car. She then said “you could uber” … thanks.
Incredibly strict on cash only, 170$, incredibly rude, made me uber to a bank to get the cash and come back. Told me “cost of doing business”
My daughter was in an accident and we called AAA; D&G towing came to pick up her car (and gave her & I - who were definitely shook up after being hit - a ride home) and he was so calming, helpful and informative. Her car was held at D&G auto body while we dealt with insurance. The insurance company of the man who hit us was hiving us the run around and lengthening and complicating the entire process. D&G was AMAZING throughout the ordeal. Anthony specifically was a true hero! He was so kind and professional. He went above and beyond to make the whole ordeal smoother and less stressful. I HIGHLY recommend them!! If I could give more stars I would.
Do not get your car worked on here. They probably using used parts because I've had to get all of the work I had there REDONE. Ignition coils less than a year and a half all need to be replaced again. Thousands of dollars wasted thanks for that guys.
The Boston Police District D-14 Brighton called them to get my car towed after an accident. My car was bandalized and robbed by D&G Towing. I went to the Police station to report this, but I was told that it was too much paper work and that this Towing company was protected by the police, so the officer refused to take any declaration/report.
These people are Amazing.

First: they had to jump start My car.
Then= they went back to their home.
Got their tow truck.
Pulled Me out.

They were polite/professional as well as believe in God.

While parked legally on a Boston street this week, I was the victim of the malicious hit and run destruction of my car, along with damage to 3 other vehicles on the street. Thus, I found myself at D&G Towing on Emery Rd to retrieve my personal belongings, as instructed by the police. To make a sorrowful and difficult experience even worse, the woman in the office could not have been less caring, kind, helpful, or compassionate, as demonstrated by her callous, rude, and impatient behavior. I was forced to come again the following day to sign the release paper for my insurance company, since she refused to allow me to sign it then while I was there. I give it 1 star for a nice young man who came out the following day to help me remove the plates, since I have no tools. The only plus side to being unable to replace my car, which was my mother's car, who passed away 10 years ago, is that I will not have to deal with this apparently miserable woman again in this capacity.
My car was towed due to street cleaning and when I went to get my car this is the scene I encountered and I will complain about it if no one compensates for my damage and my car was left for 2 hours I was charged $35 per day for parking this is a terrible company don't forget to check when your car is towed
Really solid experience!
My car didn’t start this morning, so I called D&G. In less than 5 minutes they picked up my car and brought it to their shop. A couple hours later they called me with a reasonable estimate. They had my car repaired and ready by 1 p.m. They’re a very friendly and communicative team.
I don't trust this company, they damaged my car during the towing process and they don't have professional staff. They behave disrespectfully and rudely. This business's tax records, cash and card transactions must be examined, and the employees' legal permits and security cameras must be examined.
This company towed me for street cleaning today after street cleaning was done for the day. Street cleaning was done at noon and I was ticketed and towed at 12:10pm. They held my van hostage until I paid for being parked legally. Since I didn't park there until just after noon Basically my van was stolen then held for ransom or even I would like to call this extortion. I reluctantly paid but then after to make matters worse the girl in the office tried stealing my keys from me until I signed an illegal waiver and release. She even tried lying to me telling me street cleaning is from noon to six. Unfortunately I just needed my truck back so I could get back to work so I had no choice but to take the abuse. Then to twist the knife some more they made me wait another 20 minutes to unblock my truck. First guy came out and pretended a bit then a while later the 2nd guy actually unblocked it. All very cute but we'll see what a judge thinks about it in court. I'm beside myself seeing things like this still happening this day and age and with having a contract with the city. I will not be letting this one go. Working with my attorney now to take legal action. Even if it costs me more out of pocket I want to make sure no one else gets ripped off like this. Hopefully they lose their contract with the city.
If I could rate this towing company 0 stars, I would. The 2 Brazilian ladies at the front desk were so rude and they were more interested in eating then being helpful to customers. The manager at this place was so disrespectful and high off her authority. I spent 5 hours trying to get this place to release my car and each time they would ask for something else and be extremely unprofessional while doing it. Not only that but the inexperienced tow truck drivers scraped my exhaust on the pavement when towing it 10 mins down the street. They told me to have my insurance take care of it when they are the ones who damaged it. Once they had robbed me of $300 and I asked if they could just tow it to my home, they refused and said the tow truck driver has to go home. Which is beyond ridiculous. The people running this place have no idea what they are doing and are going to make this business go down the drain.
