If I could put zero stars I would. I’ve had way too many mistakes made by them. Most recently today, I got my car back from them after having been sent in for the second time in 10 days. They didn’t fix the problem the first time and now this time on my way back home, my car started smoking. After further investigation there was an oil rag sitting in my engine smoldering. This place has gone so far down hill. Save your time, money, and vehicle. Don’t do it.

After too many mistakes, I will not be returning to RW’s. First, while they were driving my car, they failed to secure the hood, which flew up and was damaged. They did cover the cost of the bodywork, but I was without my car for a week while it was being repaired. On another occasion, they performed work I did not request or authorize and still charged me for it (minus one hour of labor, which they said was “fair”), leaving me out over $250 for a repair that did nothing to fix the issue. When I complained, the head mechanic apologized for their mistake—while still charging me—and admitted they usually work on large trucks and did not have the proper equipment to diagnose or repair my Honda. I truly do not understand why they would accept a job they neither understood nor had the tools to complete. I then took my car to Bedard’s, who quickly and accurately diagnosed and repaired it—with friendly and professional customer service. RW’s may be fine for oil changes and inspections, but I would not recommend them for car repairs. I thought I was supporting a family-run business and that this would be a good thing, but instead I wasted a lot of money.

They were extremely kind and super understanding with my girlfriend when she had a blowout on the highway

R.W’s is the BEST!! Jimmy got to us within 30 minutes and had us on the road in minutes. He was kind and knowledgeable and completely made our day! Thank you, Jimmy and R.W.’s, we appreciate your time and effort!

Helped me out big time while I was in a jam, brought my car in for a slow leak 2 hours from home, they brought it in immediately and had it fixed and out the door in an hour, and for a very fair price. Would highly recommend this shop

I broke down on the Pike and the cop called this place for me. I was worried to see an unknown mechanic but it wound up being a very reasonably priced repair. (They told me my engine overheated due to a problem with coolant valve). Thank goodness - all's well that ends well.

Thank you so much to Kelsey and the rest of the team here! My family member broke down on the Pike and lost phone service for a bit. Luckily I called around and found RW.'s. I was very stressed out and had to call them a few times to get things figured out. They were very patient and once we set it up they rolled out and picked up the car in no time bringing it to where it needed to go. Straightforward service, no bull and very kind. Just had a breakdown on the Mass Pike while trying to leave the Lee rest stop. As soon as AAA got through, tow was prompt. They very quickly figured out the problem and were able to give us enough of a fix to continue home (4 hour drive away). There was a chance we might have either had to stay over or get a rental, and they had lots of helpful info posted in the waiting room and were just friendly and positive over the whole experience. I just randomly picked the closest repair to where we were and feel very lucky to have ended up in their capable hands!

Make sure to bring cash, they do not take card like other places! The guy was friendly with me letting me run to an atm! ? Line takes awhile to get through, but once your car’s inside, it’s super quick.

I recently had the unfortunate experience of having my Tesla erroneously towed by this company due to a police error. The entire process was disheartening, to say the least during Christmas time. Upon the tow truck's arrival, I specifically requested the driver to plug in my Tesla, as it is an electric vehicle getting low battery juice in a cold weather. Unfortunately, he neglected to do so, leaving me to deal with this issue later on. When I reached out to their 24/7 helpline, I encountered an unhelpful and irate representative. She informed me that assistance would be provided but made it clear that there would be an additional charge. This unexpected fee of $200 only added to the frustration of the situation. To make matters worse, the towing charges significantly deviated from the Mass DOT towing contract that I had previously signed. The agreed-upon rates were $132 for the hookup plus $4.20 per mile. However, the company chose to disregard these terms and imposed their own exorbitant rates. This blatant disregard for the agreed-upon terms and the unprofessional conduct of their staff left me deeply disappointed. It's disheartening to see a small business in Western Mass operated by individuals who exhibit such dishonest practices. I would strongly advise potential customers to exercise caution and consider alternative car services.

Im disappointed in their hours. They close at 4pm and the average working American works until 5pm. They are closed on the weekends so give u no chance of pulling your car out on your day off. Even tho they are closed they still charge u 2 days knowing u can't get the vehicle. I will update this review as I find out why they want the title to my mother in-laws vehicle which is something I never heard of. They work with AAA but failed to mention that. Also they insisted on having my mother in law catch a plane from Florida when my wife lives in NY and could have been picked the vehicle up 4 days ago now they will charge them for the days they are closed as my mother-in-law figures out how to get to Massachusetts. This seem fishy as they push the whole title situation. I also own a legal tow company out of NJ so the way they are dealing is catching my attention

We had a great experience with R.W's! My son and I were driving from Boston to Syracuse and were having car trouble. We pulled off the Mass Pike in Lee and found them. In less than an hour they helped us out and we were back on the road! Scott was great as was the rest of his staff. Very friendly and willing to help!! And at a very fair price!

A valve stem broke on my rental car on a Thursday night; I waited three hours for AAA in vain, so I called RW's. They arrived in 30 minutes, towed my car to their shop, gave me a ride to my hotel, and replaced the tire the next morning. Very professional, and they made a bad night MUCH better.

R.W. towing came to my rescue through a AAA service request at the Lee plaza on the Mass Pike. My car failed and required a tow back to the Albany area in NY. The service was outstanding from arriving quickly to being amazingly accommodating and friendly. I can't say enough good things about the rescue experience after the unexpected breakdown. Realized I had a slow brake line leak after hours a few miles away. Left my car there and spoke to them by phone in the morning. I was quoted a price of $437 including labor and materials. I got a call 5 days later and I owed $600 and change that materials weren't included. Bullshite! Without even saying anything additional had to be done. Get your story straight because $437 couldn't be just labor when it's $125 per hour. Got emailed with a very incomplete un-itemized bill. After complaining I got a more detailed bill that was still about $50 over the original quote. I guess when you're out of your state it's open season.

RW's is the place to bring your car for anything! We have had our cars inspected, repairs, had to have cars towed- they are the best. Always reasonable and the staff and the mechanics are so nice. We love RW's and will always use them!

My son broke down a mile from RW's on the way to college and we were lucky that someone in the gas station told us to call Scott at RW's. They towed the car...we left and continued on our trip. They assessed the car - and eventually towed it back to a place near our home 100 miles away. I am so grateful the car ended up at RW's. Although they couldn't fix it - I knew we were in good hands. They were open and honest from the first minute when their tow guy rescued us from the gas station! Thank you to Scott and Kelsey for their superior customer service and honesty! A++

This place and the staff are helpful and courteous. I was stranded in the middle of nowhere MA and they towed me to their shop, towed my car back to the dealership of my choice in NY, and sent me on my way with a rental within an hour. I am very thankful for their quick service and understanding. Was a little expensive but I was willing to pay due to the efficiency and speed they worked to solve my problem.

If you need your car repaired, this is the place to go.They go above and beyond what is expected of automotive services. They are reasonable in price and sensitive to your situation. Fantastic. Friendly staff. I was not aware that they are a full service garage. Always thought of them as a truck service. So when I was looking for a place to get my annual car inspection it was a pleasant surprise. They got me in and out faster than any other place I have been to in the past.

Amazing - I was driving from Maine to New York in my mother's car and the heat protector was flopping about. I ran over a curb in a rest stop on the mass pike. I panicked and got off on the first exit, Lee. Well, after being told no by two other shops - I was advised to go to R.W's. They were extremely helpful, considerate, just took me in and removed the dangling heat protector - they would have reattached it if possible. They reassured me that it was safe to continue my journey. AMAZING - they were extremely professional and kind. I was in a panic and they were just so lovely and helpful.

R.W.'s is amazing. They should absolutely be your first call if you wind up in a jam. Their staff is responsive, friendly, and knowledgeable! You know that terrible feeling when the mechanic calls to tell you that your car needs $1,000 worth of work when all you wanted was an oil change? Not here! This place is family-owned and operated. They know their trade and their priority is definitely keeping their customers happy and safe on the roads.

Office staff and management Very rude, disrespectful. Tow my car and did more damage (over $300 more in damage). Paid one price and receipt reflected a different price. Drive was very unprofessional and very ignorant and rude.

Absolutly amazing. My car broke down in Lee. I brought my car here, and he was super busy. Even still, he got my car into the shop within a half hour of being there. He charged me substantially less than he should of for my service. I would recommend this place to anyone. Ignore the other reviews, this is the best place to go. They do take AAA.

When our car broke down on the turnpike on a Sunday, they came and towed us to the shop. The owner came over, even though it was after hours, to get us a rental. They fixed our car quickly and well, for a reasonable price. Great folks.
