We are on family vacation, this is our first time in the area. I decided to stop in to see if there were any good finds. The store was small but well organized however the staff was horrible. I was shopping on a rack they had just brought out from the back and was interested in a sweater and one of the employees told me it was hers and I can’t have it(although I clearly saw a price tag on it). I asked her, are you shopping or are you working, and her response was I’m working but I’m getting this sweater. The situation didn’t sit right with me so I asked another employees if staff gets first dibs on merchandise and she said absolutely not, merchandise has to be on the floor for 24 hours before staff can purchase. The employee that took the sweater yells over “This was my sweater and gives her coworker a wink” and it left me so upset! Needless to say I would not recommend this thrift store to anyone since their employees are not ethical.

We dropped off a myriad of quality items. The person outside was extremely rude and looked completely bothered that he had to leave his chair. Very disrespectful

Wow, I have used the Salvation Army in other states for years now and I called the phone number listed closest to Hyannis and some woman at the call center answered and was extremely rude and not helpful. Worst experience I’ve had with the Salvation Army. What a shame.

Always loved shopping at the Salvation Army store. Then one day a few months ago, all the prices pretty much doubled on non-clothing items. I'm here for bargains, not to pay regular store prices. Sad.

I used to really like this store, but when I was leaving today, I was really disturbed by one item that I saw in the window: a dirty, used hamster cage. First of all: who in the world “donates” a noticeably dirty pet cage to a thrift store?? Second: Why did the Salvation Army even accept it? There was poop obviously still in the cage. I’m seriously so grossed out by this that I don’t know if I can ever even go in this store again. If they would accept such an item, what other really unsanitary things do they accept??

Very nice store, quality items. The prices were affordable and the staff was extremely friendly and gave me a great deal on my purchases. A+

I was in today with my friend!When I went to check out at the register I was told I owe 59 dollars(white tags were 50% off today). I thought it was too much (considering I had a few white tag items) but my toddler was getting impatient so we just left.I also find it odd that they ask if you want a receipt (no need to ask,everyone need to to be given a receipt by law). Anyway,went back home and decided to do the math and sure enough I was overcharged by $12. I’d think it was an accident but my friend was overcharged $10,too! My advice is do the math before you go to the register,it seems like a regular practice to overcharge people! Also the receipt I was given only shows the total and doesn’t list the individual items,so I can’t even go back and prove I’ve been overcharged!

Not a bad little store. I did have a few good finds. Before spending a ton of money, check out places like this.

I found a fabulous dining set (Hitchock table with two leafs plus 4 chairs, all with lovely decorative accents) and a matching coffee table, paid $200 for the whole set. The staff was super helpful and friendly, it took me a couple trips to get it all home and they were so nice and helped me load up my car each time. I will be going back for sure!

Horrible store. Was there on 6/9/23 and the young guy working started shouting at people the store was closed at 4:55 and at 4:59 started swearing under his breath while going up to individual customers raising his voice demanding that they leave and using threating language such as "you need to leave right now" and "now means now". All of this before 5:01. I worked retail for about 10 years and I get it's really annoying when people are there after close but that behavoir this ridiculous.

It's my favorite thrift shop on the Cape. They are so nice, it's always a pleasure. Even without a "score" it is worth the visit. Update - Still the best!

Great prices, you can walk in on a Wednesday when a majority of the store is half price and pop a bunch of tags for super affordable prices! I got two cute barely used blouses and a pair of shorts for $7.50 total and the staff is decent! Wish I had closer access I’d be here every Wednesday ?

Wish there were more tags off on each day like in my store in Upstate, NY. And wish they had more jewelry. But friendly staff and I found some nice items.

Nice selection of items that changes through out the week Staff is helpful. Good finds for cds, lps and some vintage electronics. Furniture also has a good selection of solid buys

Great place but the blond cashier always overcharges me every time. The manager askes to note it right away but since I get too much stuff, I'm am too tired check immediately.

This location has especially well organized apparel, books, DVDs and knick-knacks. They have a nice selection of ties and formal wear. The prices are fantastic and the staff are very friendly and helpful. The young man working there saw I was looking through the CDs in search of PC games and dug out a sealed Baldur's Gate box set from the back that had just arrived! Made my day - thank you!!!

Very polite and friendly staff. Great prices. Saturday was half off certain items. I actually found a camel saddle for 10$! The furniture was beautiful and low price, so manybooks, tapes, videos, cd galore. A great place. They have senior time and best to go early as due to COVID there is a minimum allowed in store at one time to keep all safe. Have fun shopping.

Be aware that the facility only allows a few people at a time due to COVID. You could easily wait a good 15 minutes on certain days. Staff are very friendly on the other hand and prices are always a score! Wednesday’s are 50% almost everything which are great days to get the snap the best deals.

Really nice store to shop for bargains. I always enjoy shopping at the Salvation Army stores. We had a really nice enormous store back home in Pittsfield MA that we all miss. I wish they would come back to the Berkshires.

Went there for the first time today. Nice, large, well lit facility with good a/c. Aisles are for the most part easily accessible, a bit tight if two people pass each other in the clothing section. Wheelchairs might have difficulties in the clothing section, but friendly staffers are available to help. Decent selection of product, clothing especially good. Housewares were poor when I was there, but some nice furniture items. Prices are competitive with other area thrift stores on clothes and housewares, very good on books and furniture items.

Very happy with my selection today. They no longer have bags so try to bring your own. They do have a Salvation Army cloth bag you can buy for $.99. Friendly staff.

Rarely do I give someone a five star rating this place is amazing it's big Open Spaces a large dressing room to try things on great selection that changes every day the Wednesday sales are amazing the prices so cheap and the quality of the clothing is awesome you still can get a lot of new stuff for next to nothing.... Tons of good clean artwork for sale same with lamps kitchen stuff lots of glassware China all clean all well priced to sell quick. if you see something that's a really good deal and you like it you better buy it it might not be there the next day. The staff is very very friendly very very helpful. I am perfectly happy shopping here knowing that the money profits go to a good cause and not to a CEO like the Salvation Army's competition... the pictures I posted before 15 year old that wasn't with me hopefully they'll be there tomorrow when we go back so she can try them on... Salvation Army selection is a must-see.. it's in a central location in Yarmouth and nearby anything else you need in the world..

Lovely store. Very clean and organize d . Reasonable prices. My go to place for children s clothing. I shop for a friend's little girl. Today I found a lovely hooded sweatshirt perfect for preschool. And also a fleece pullover. And a crystal sleigh candy dish. It will make a perfect gift once I fill it with colorfully wrapped holiday candy. Always pleased when I stop in there. I would highly recommend it to everyone.

Nice customer service. Could have a bit of a better selection. But does the trick. You can get Cape Cod Tshirts here that are new if you pick through and save money.

They really improved when they moved here, but their prices have been steadily going up a lot. Doesn't feel like good will anymore, it's more like an expensive second hand shop. Less helpful, more corporate.

Great place to donate or if your trying save money or don't have any... great Thift store bi selection. Easy to spot old Reebok building. Good size parking on left and right of building. Wheel chair entrance not sure If there's a public bathroom or not.. Variety of Items clothes to bikes.. Go check It out or donate.... Pretty cool place..

Clean store. However, when our Little girl had to use the bathroom (yes they are supposed to have a public restroom by law) , the woman was very rude and said "go down the street". ? We like the salvation army and what they stand for, love that things find a new home and stay out if the landfill, but they are supposed to be a helping caring agency ? So was a bit taken back by this . Will not return to this location.
