The Harwich Antiques Center consists of two buildings. One is a heated open space where various dealers have space to sell their finds. Another is a barn that is filled with items that didn't sell and are still looking for a home.
The heated space is carefully organized. You will find items hanging, shelved, and resting on the floor. If you look up, side to side, or down, there are interesting pieces of history. Some of the items are harder-to-find curiosities which include some artifacts from the whaling industry that dominated the Southern Massachusetts area in previous centuries. The salespeople are highly knowledgeable about the complexities of these artifacts. It was eye opening and educational.
The barn, which was next to the heated building, held items that didn't sell as well. There was furniture, antique tools, vinyl records, and more. The barn had cheaper and more common items, but do not ignore the potential of the things sold here!
We had a conversation with the salesperson and it made the shopping a lot more lively and engaging! I recommend coming here while on your vacation in Cape Cod. It is a fascinating place.
This is our favorite antique store on the Cape. So many different items here in a nice organized space. Everything from weathervanes to Pyrex bowls. Friendly and helpful staff, too. You can’t go wrong stopping in and strolling the aisles.
This store is the first I went to ever on the cape. It’s so cute and has a wide range of antique nautical stuff. They had jars of marbles so I got 4! The only complaint has nothing to do with this beautiful store but my lack of mechanical skills. I have been fighting with the latch on the little jar on the right. I love the jar with the cork. So unique. Do stop by. The staff was so helpful while I lurked through! Also they have the usual crystal, glass and uranium glass. Thank you. These are not the same marbles I got with them and have since organized(I have tons). You’re the best
I'm not even an "antiques person," but I love this place. So many interesting things to see here, so much variety. Truly different from all the usual stuff you find on the Cape. Easy to find, lots of parking, friendly staff. Check it out!
been shopping at the dennis antique center for decades and decided to finally check this place out and was so pleasantly surprised. some of the dealers are very expensive, but some were very fairly priced and i recently found some great steals!
Very helpful employees and the owner was able to take his time with my questions and I even was able to find a beautiful rug that fit in my den perfectly
