It's rural and they were busy. I was told 90 minutes to 2 hours. It wasn't want much more than an hour before Josh (hope that's right) got there. He scooped it up and got me right to the shop.
As anyone with a classic car knows, anything can happen. Wife was behind me on the Rt90 bridge and her 1941 Chevy started smoking bad. We made it off the bridge but not by much. It was a saturday afternoon, storm was coming and Cruisin was ending in Ocean city MD which is always busy for tow companies. Called 1st Street and was told they were busy and would be able to get to me later that night or next morning. 10 minutes later they called and someone was on the way. We left car and requested a rollback due to car being lowered and it had to be put in a garage that was at the top of a ramp. Driver calls and explains he is with car and rollback may not be best option. He seemed very knowledgable about his job so I let him do what he needed to do. He went back, got another truck and picked up my car. Got it to my house safely and proceeded to back it up my drive and into my small garage on the dollies, all while being watched by a bunch of college kids that were very vocal about the great driving skills that Dalton was showing them. He got it in the garage, took dollies out and was done. Under 5 hours start to finish. Dalton was great, knowledgable, personable and took his job very seriously. I could never ask for better...cost was great and Dalton made the whole situation better. 1st Street is my only choice from now on. Thank you Dalton. Be safe 1st Street! Thank you.
Don't believe all of the 5 star reviews. 1st Street Towing will damage your car if given the chance. There might be some good workers there but the guy they sent to me complained about having to tow my car with the tow dolly, because he would have to drive 55mph, after I had requested and confirmed a flatbed tow for my awd no less than 5 times before the driver showed. I also confirmed it with the driver 3 times before I left since he did not show up with a flatbed. I should not have left before it was hooked up. Don't make the same mistake and trust that 1st Street drivers will do the right thing. The driver called me several minutes after I left and said that it would be okay to tow it on the hook. I AGAIN stated that I had ordered a flatbed and expect that my car be towed with all 4 wheels off the road. He assured me that he would tow it as I requested. A half-hour later, and 30 miles into the 55 mile trip, he is barreling up the highway with my car on the hook and the rear tires burning rubber on the road. I called the company and they said that they would call the driver and call me back. I never did get a return call but I saw that the driver pulled into a side street a few miles up and put the car up the way it was supposed to be. Too little, too late.
1st Street Towing was there when I couldn’t get a single tow company in Salisbury to take care of my roadside issue. Josh did an outstanding job helping me get back on the road. What I thought was going to be a long and expensive tow turned into him fixing the problem on the spot! I would highly recommend this company for any type roadside assistance.
The Lady and Gentleman who were part of towing my giant truck 180 miles were absolutely amazing. Truck showed in the same shape it was when it was put on the tow truck. They were very courteous and communicated wonderfully. Thank ya’ll so much!

Zain and rana were super helpful & with my situation they were so understanding & empathetic. As I was waiting for them to call me back with the quote I was going to just go with another company, but thank God I waited, they quoted me $70 less then the company that had quoted me the lowest at the time. But knowing the customer service they provide I’d pay extra every time. Thank you so much & I will use this tow company every time ( hopefully I won’t need to ) but if I do & I recommend to everyone needing these services.
It’s great company with very good customer service one time I was visiting the area around there when my car broke down and wouldn’t start I called this company and guy his name is Zain picked up the call and he arrived in half hour even it was late 3am but still he took my car to good mechanic he knows and after that he dropped me to my hotel. I had a nightmare of a car rental malfunction. Paul went above and beyond any towing company I’ve encountered. Paul tried talking to the rental representative to aid in my situation, to no avail from the rental company. He was very helpful with my stressful situation. An ethical and kind company!
We were broken down on 113 for 4 hours after AAA botched the dispatch for us. When they finally dispatched a tow it was 1st street towing. They took our truck and went towed our camper to the campground for an additional fee which was worth not having our camper stuck on the side of the road and prevented us having to scramble for a hotel room. Great service and company. We can never thank them enough for rescuing us.

Although Volvo's Roadside Assistance program appears to need some real organizational improvements, 1st Street Towing took care of us!

My car was damaged when it was towed. It was a brand new vehicle with no scratches. Less than a week. Paul was the driver. I called and asked to speak to a supervisor regarding the damages and he hung up the phone on me then blocked my number so my calls wouldn’t go through. Super unprofessional and very upsetting, again, I haven’t even had the car for a week yet it was brand new with no damages.
My car broke down in Delaware, and I needed to get back to Virginia. I called AAA, and Paul with 1st Street Towing responded. He quickly diagnosed the problem and temporarily fixed it allowing me to drive home, saving me hundreds of dollars in towing fees. Of course, he also offered to tow my car 140 miles if I wasn't comfortable driving it. He even explained what he'd done to temporarily fix the problem in case the it reoccurred. That is top-notch service, which is really rare these days. Thanks so much, Paul!
This company was sent by AAA as we were totally disabled about 25 miles from home after being in the car for 8 hours as day two of our return from FL. The young man, Andrew, who came to our rescue was awesome! He was very professional, friendly, kind,, and had the perfect demeanor to calm an oldER lady down! Andrew is a VERY POSITIVE asset to the company! Andrew arrived in time he stated. Not a good travel day for us, but Andrew made it seem not so bad!

The driver was friendly and professional. He arrived in a timely manner and was able to get my car started without needing a tow to a repair shop. He even provided advice on where I should go the next morning to get my battery tested and replaced and offered to come back the next morning if my car did not start. Highly recommend!
Completely unprofessional. Had to call 8 times to reach someone about getting in contact with the driver assigned to my case only to be met with attitude and even canceling my assistance claim after waiting an additional half hour after the call. There are plenty of other companies in the area, if using triple a, refuse this company unless you want to sit around and wait for over 2 hours! **DO NOT USE**
Got recommendation for 1st street from local auto mechanic when our car wouldn’t start here in ocean city. We were on vacation so I was thankful everything worked out so well. Paul was responsive, helpful and had fair pricing. Bonus, we got to chat with him for a little bit about the pets he’s rescued which is a telltale sign of a good person in my book.
Above and beyond service. No one wants to need any roadside assistance, let's be honest. These guys have an impeccable track record. I got the pleasure of meeting Paul again today. He really went the extra mile with a customer with a language barrier. I just stopped before he got there to offer assistance. I let the customer know that they were in great hands. This is truly a team that genuinely loves helping people. It seems they aren't just in it for the money. Blew my diff while I was at the beach when I realized I couldn't fix it out there I asked around for the best place for a long distance tow. Was told to trust no one other than 1st street. They picked up my car on a flat bed at 8:30 from FI and it got home safe just outside of DC 3 hours later. Everyone we talked to was nice, helpful, considerate, and actually seemed like they cared about what they were doing. Good to know who I can trust with my cars if I ever need to be towed again.
