Bad experience!!
Brought my crushed aluminum cans (several large bags) & was told they didn’t accept them. I even checked the website in advance of what they accepted and didn’t accept.
Aluminum cans are NOT on there.
Also, had a not native speaker meet me, who communicated thru his phone translator (which I could hardly see because of the sun)
Lousy recycle center - I came all the way down from Kent Island. Wasted trip!!
The recycling centers in Baltimore are WAY better - next to I’ll go there !
Pay attention and know what you’re selling, I brought in a 160 lbs stainless steel mixer but they only paid me sheet iron prices, I was definitely ripped off. Communication isn’t that well here, gonna have to tell everyone you encounter what you’re turning in, my turn in was definitely mixed up.
Thankful for getting rid of my 3 broken down air conditioners without costing me.I even received a little bit of money.My only wish is that someone would help you unload.
It's a scrap metal place.
Anyway it's a very nice scrap metal place.
Been there twice and got about 20 $ each for metal from around the house from updates to outdoor furniture, storm doors etc.
Hence I recommend not to drive there just to drop of the metal, do it on your way in otherwise you might spend the money you get on gas.
Please note I recommend to drive with pick up or van with thick tires.
There is no liability for your flat tires.
Rick & Cory helped me out a ton on my last visit to Salisbury Scrap Metal. I had a bunch of different metals in my trailer and they helped me sort them out to get the most for my scrap. I ended up leaving with over $100. Thanks again to everyone there and I’ll see you again soon!

I really enjoyed Megan at the office she had a delightful smile. Dinner with Rick on the scale he was pretty right on cuz he knew what he was talkin about . Then Brandon he just all-around guy anything you need to know he knew.
Great place to bring your unwanted scrap, the staff is always friendly and helpful! The yard manager Doug has no problem lending a hand and explaining how to break down your material to first time customers. Definitely recommend this place to anyone looking to recycle their metal!

I called a few days ago about scrapping a car. Rachel answered the phone and was able to answer all of my questions. I had no idea what I was doing but everyone was patient and able to help me once in the yard. The woman Megan at the window was especially pleasant.

They had an issue with the computer system, but they handled it well. It was a little slow because of it, but they did inform us of the possible wait times.
Prices are good, except cans.
This is a clean dirty place. I also ran out of gas and employees were more then helpful. They towed me with the loader back to the scale and provided me with a gas tank to get some gas.. Wonderful place!
