Needed a tow for a motorcycle from WV welcome center southbound on I81 to Twigg motorcycle in Hagerstown on 9/18/25. A distance of less than 10 miles travel. Service was within an hour arrival and thorough. Very expensive (275 dollars) was the cost for this tow. This was during work hours around 10-11am so I think it is very high. Just something to be aware. Like this owner said, get quotes to minimize chance of being taking advantage.
A+ job! Got a dreaded transmission warning two hours from home. They answered the phone, showed up when they said they would, took care of my car, and even handled a steep hill at the destination no problem. And the price was reasonable too. Really grateful they were so able and willing to help!!
Charlie is very professional I was fortunate to have this company chosen for road side assistance he was responsive , polite and twice as fast as the other company around town (don’t buy a Pacifica) couldn’t ask for a better tow service !
Earlier this year a deer decided to identify as a rhinoceros and took out my car. It was freezing out (winter) and my face, hands, feet were getting numb. I called my insurance USAA and they sent the police and towing company. Around 1/2 hr later (I started to identify as a icicle) the police came and trailing behind Eichelberger's Towing. Let me just give a shout out to Charlie George who was the towing operator that showed up. The guy was professional, kind, concerned and provided me a ride to my house (I lived less than 5 min away). I told him that I would provide him a Google Review but then lost his card and could not think of the company name or his name. I recently found it, and so I am keeping my promise.
I didn’t get the name of the guy that came out he was a total life saver after the first tow truck never picked up my husband car this company is amazing will keep yall in my back pocket if i ever needed again !!
This company and driver Matt saved me! I was led off the beaten path when my GPS froze and ended up taking a wrong turn and found myself caught in the mud! Thankfully I could walk up the hill and get reception. Called roadside rescue. These guys were the first to respond. Less than five minutes I got a call from Matt Young. The driver. Friendly right off the bat, and even though I weak signal I couldn't pin myself I gave him the best directions I could and he found me in less than an hour coming from 30 miles away.
Upon arriving Matt surveyed the situation, scratched his head....looked me straight in the eye and said..."Well ya know you can't park there! But I'll get ya out!" Immediately releasing much of my worry and giving reassurance. He went above and beyond, mud boots, getting under my car, wasn't afraid to get dirty, and sure enough... He got me out! I was frame deep and hung up in this mud bed. But he figured it out! He was determined! Thanks Matt and company!
My husband locked his keys in his truck and we used roadside assistance to have someone get them out for us. The first company dispatched was at 7pm and they were to be here within an hour. By 11pm they still had not shown. State Farm called us and said they would send someone new. Within 5 minutes Charlie called us and said he could be on his way. Keep in mind we were over an hour and a half away. He came and had our truck unlocked in no time. Would recommend this business to anyone needing a locksmith!
We wanna thank Matt for his fast service and great friendly attitude for coming out to save us on Valentines Day evening. He picked us and the car up and had us home within an hour. Highly recommend this company for any towing needs!! Thanks again Matt
From the first phone call until the knock on my door when the job was done, this team provided excellent customer service and professionalism. I believe the driver’s name is Matt, and he came on a Saturday night in the freezing cold/rain and threw my spare tire on & let me know he found a nail in my tire. If you need any kind of roadside assistance, this is the company you want to do business with. Shot out to the whole team!!!
Would definitely recommend them! Matt Young came out and unlocked my car whenever I managed to lock myself out trying to get to work on a snowy morning. Very thankful for him and his wife for coming and saving the day for me !
My car broke down on 901 and left me stranded in a church parking lot luckily! Matt came out to help me get my car towed. So thankful for Charles at Eichelberger! He’s helped me twice. Once when I brined down literally in the middle of 40 on New Years Eve, and all the other local tow trucks were busy. He was loaded himself, saw me, went to finish the job he had and came back to get me out of the road! Their pricing is always fair, and you can trust them, which is what you expect of a local company, and what you need when you are having a bad car. Thank you guys!
This is a terrible company on June 9 2024 they damaged vehicle during a tow and said they would pay for damages then recanted the and would not pay. Denied claim. I had the manager to state they would pay and they did not. The Driver damaged my vehicle while loading in flat bed and if I had not have been there he would have never said anything. But now there refusing any liability for the damages and my vehicle is still at the dealer body shop. These tow companies are terrible and not to be trusted.
So, this company is amazing. The Boss was able to have one of his men come rescue my quadriplegic hubby and our disabled handicap accessible van. Connor was the driver. He was very pleasant, helpful and efficient with diagnosing the issue. He even followed us home to ensure our safe arrival. Huge thanks to JD &

Kasey was an absolute gem! I’m grateful that she was dispatched to help me. She troubleshooted several issues and was determined to get me back on the road….on a Friday during rush hour with a heat index of ~ 105 degrees. Her persistence and work ethic were equally impressive and I sincerely appreciated her creative approach handling a myriad of unanticipated, complicated issues. I was really in a bind and she was able to figure out a number of problems caused by a dead battery…
including gaining access to my car with a key-fab that was not working and figuring out how to open the hood of the vehicle despite a broken spring mechanism. I feel very lucky that she was available because without her, my whole weekend would’ve been an absolute mess. I wish there were more people like Kasey in this world! I respect the reality that she would not give up despite several challenging obstacles.
So, thank you Kasey and Eichelbergers is fortunate to have you on their staff.

When my vehicle unexpectedly became disabled on I-70, Eichelberger's was the towing company dispatched by my insurance company's roadside assistance program. The driver - John - called me immediately to confirm my status and location, and arrived well ahead of the predicted ETA. John kindly invited me to wait in the truck's air conditioned cabin with a fresh bottle of chilled water (95 degrees out there...) and had my car loaded up quickly and professionally within minutes. Quick and efficient drop at a dealership in Frederick a half hour later. Total time from breakdown to delivery to service station was less than an hour. Could not have asked for better service! Still waiting word on the fate of my car, but at least now I know a great towing company operating in the Hagerstown area if I should need it again. Thank you for the outstanding support!
Jay was a life saver yesterday! I had a flat tire on the side of I70 and he was there within 15 minutes! He got out in the pouring rain and had me to the repair shop in no time! I was so amazed at how quick and efficient he was in the middle of a down pour! Thank you, Jay!

My insurance provider connected me with an unspecified towing company, so I wasn’t sure what to expect.
Fortunately, Matt’s kindness quickly turned around what was initially an unfamiliar (this was my first time getting my car towed!) and stressful situation. Due to a last minute change to my towing destination, Matt had to transport me and my vehicle 20+ minutes in the opposite direction. Despite it being the end of his day, he was both professional and personable.

USE THIS COMPANY! We are not from the area (Michigan) and we broke down the day before Easter and this company was quick to get to us, towed us where we wanted to go even though we changed our minds twice. Haley and Conner were so fantastic, their loving personality and quickness to get to you and take care of us is unmatched! If I were from the area I would call them every time because I know that in my time of crazy, Haley and Conner will take great care of us and our vehicle! Other reviews say their customer service is terrible and that cannot be more far from the truth!! Haley drove all the way out to us as well just to drive us where we needed to go and Conner went out of his way to call his brother who was a mobile mechanic and gave him a heads up that we would be calling. I know this review is long but I hope it helps others realize that this company is legit and wonderful. Great people. =)

I had a great experience with Eichelberger's Towing. They arrived right on time, quickly got my car set up on the tow truck, and parked it perfectly right where I needed it. They were very affordable and friendly and I would certainly recommend them to anyone needing a tow in the area.
The ONLY local towing company I will use or recommend again! The owners are the most wonderful people you could hope to meet. They genuinely care about you and will do whatever they can to help you out. I called Hallie in a panic because I locked myself out of my running car on my way to work. Despite juggling her own crazy morning, Hallie immediately dispatched her amazing driver, Kasey to save the day! Kasey arrived less than 30 minutes after I first called Hallie, and I was pulling out of my driveway 5 minutes later! Kasey was very kind, professional, and most importantly, prompt! Amazing people, Charlie was really nice and quick to pickup my vehicle even though he was 130 miles away!!! Charged a reasonable and affordable fee and was very professional.
I recommend this place and they are now in my contacts in case i need an emergency tow.
JD was excellent! Very respectful and wonderful group of individuals but I personally was helped by JD. He confronted the auto body repair shop for things they were charging me for that they had no business charging me for. he didn’t have to do that. He could’ve just picked up the car and moved it to the spot. I needed him to. He’s a person type of person, very admirable 10 out of 10.
Helpful, caring people at Eichelberger's Towing. They sent help quickly and the tow driver was kind and calm in my moment of chaos. The manager at the office was so helpful in suggesting multiple local companies that could repair my car and they answer the phone all hours. Excellent communication and honest people. I'd call them again next time for sure!!
We used this towing company through our road side assistance plan that we have with our state farm car insurance. They were quick to respond and so was the driver. Once driver arrived he had a great attitude, was courteous and good at his job. Also he got my truck where it needed to be fast and efficient with no damage to my vehicle. It was my first time having to use this service, very impressed.
