The battery I bought from them a year ago was getting weak. They checked it and said it needed replaced. They replaced it free under warranty. No questions asked. Great service!
Replacing my battery was so easy with Battery One! They were recommended by a family member, and they did not disappoint! Darren did a quick install and rang me up. He was kind and thanked me for my purchase! The whole ordeal took less than 20 minutes for me, as I have an easily accessible battery. I personally saved $100 by choosing Battery One versus purchasing a battery from an auto store. Battery One also sells watch batteries, key fob batteries, as well as, industrial grade AA and AAA batteries. Christmas is coming and all of the toys need batteries! Lol Highly recommend Battery One!
Bought a battery in January and it started going bad in November, not wanting to start. Went back and they immediately replaced it. Definitely recommend this place!
I just bought a Battery for my vehicle on July 28th 2025. My battery light has been coming on but when driving for a little it goes off. If I let the car sit like 15 hours without driving we have to jump it to start. Well I took it to Advance Auto with the battery light on and it said Replace Battery amd said it was only 12 volts. So this morning I took amd went to Battery One because of the light coming on again. ONCE I got over there tgeblight went off. I KNEW it would because Anyone knows When you drive a car it charges the battery. They tested it and said it was 13 Volts and said the battery was good. I COULD leave. I SAID no The battery is bad. It charged while driving over here. The man said Ma'am What do you want us to do about it. I SAID I have my receipt and I want a different battery. He said No I wont do that. I SAID what I paid for a new battery and it should be a good one. He said According to out test it is good its 13 Volts. I SAID yeah Because I just drove it from Waynesboro to Here. And He said I could leave because they weren't giving me a new battery even with me having a receipt for this one because It was charged and testing good by the time I got there. Or he said I could let my battery there a few days and he could test it in a few days. I WAS mad and left because I dont k ow I would be getting the same battery back or what. I should of read all the reviews before dealing with them. I WILL NOT GO BACK AND TELL ALL MY FRIENDS TO NOT GO THERE... paying that much for a battery it sure should last more then just 2 months
Best prices around, owner was super friendly and knowledgeable, wish I had found this place sooner! Updating my review 3 months later after buying a new battery for my tractor. My truck battery died and I checked NAPA and Autozone, comparable or better battery was $20-40 less at Battery One. This is the only place I will go to to buy batteries for my vehicles.
The place to go for watch batteries. Wonderful service every time & batteries are put in for you. People think only car batteries are sold here- but any battery that's needed- they have it or will get it for you. Much better than getting them online, then having to put the batteries in yourself. Prices are also very good.

The employees immediately come out to your vehicle to see how they can help. It is also a great place to get custom made battery cables.
I can't think of a more pleasant person to interact with than Eric. I brought him a weird case: a 30 year old vehicle I imported from Japan that needed two new batteries, with the old batteries labeled entirely in Japanese.
Other shops hung up when I inquired. Eric quickly figured out the spec and recommended two different models. He clearly explained the differences in spec and price and got me on my way. Perfect fit and a slight upgrade from what was in there.

Went in on a Friday at 5pm to get an Anderson connector for my plow top notch service the guys even let me pull my truck in there shop and they installed it for me since I didn’t own the correct crimpers!!

This place is the best!!! Prompt friendly service, only 20 minutes to have a new battery installed into my Silverado. $70 cheaper than AAA! They also replace batteries in your remote. I needed one and got two, they didn't just shove them at me but replaced while I waited. $3 each. Highly recommend!!
Top notch in my book for quality and price, and service. I've been with Battery One since Sears closed there doors an never had to go anywhere else to get all of my Battery needs taken care of. Fast, polite, and professional!! They met me at my car, carried the battery in, and checked it out. The battery was toast, and they checked on replacement cost. Very reasonable. I told them thanks, and they then placed the battery back in the car.

Sadly out of no where after lunch we tried to start our car and it wouldn’t start. At 5 minutes till closing time I spoke with Joe. He kindly stayed on a Saturday afternoon until I could get there to purchase a new one. I highly recommend Battery One! Thank you Joe!
The only people you should be buying batteries from. Got my riding lawn mower working with zero issues and quality customer service. Took my almost 280k mile van in and within 20 mins i was back on road with brand new battery. On top of all that- best prices in town.
Great place. Although if your battery is stuck in the car for any reason you might want to make sure they can get it out because they can't cut anything and my battery tie down had to be cut because it was rusted out inside of plastic and it was just spinning. I mean they can cut some things with a pair of snips but they don't have any power tools like that they really should though.
Friendly and responsive staff. I got my car battery replaced there. Two people were in front of me and one was getting her watch batteries changed and the other one was getting a kitchen weight battery changed. So they do all sorts of battery stuff there. Prices were very reasonable. I would recommend.
Beyond pleased with the service. I almost never leave reviews but I was so pleased with my service today I felt it was more than earned. When I called for an estimate I was highly impressed with the kindness I received on the phone. All my questions were answered. The service itself was excellent and quick. Darren was willing to assist in a timely kind manner. The price was excellent. I had both my car battery and key fob battery changed in only 30 minutes. When the time comes for my other cars battery to be replaced I will 100% retuning to Batter One in Hagerstown. I cannot recommend this shop enough!!
Stopped in today looking for an electric scooter battery. Takes a weird double 12V setup but they not only had it in stock he wired it up for me so it would have quick connects. So happy I stopped by! Had some other questions about battery use/recycling for us as a local business and they were able to provide information and resources for that too! Will absolutely be back for my battery needs, what a great shop!
