Friendly, helpful, and professional tow truck driver. Be arrived less than 30 mins after I called. He got my car on to his truck because I couldn’t due to damaged front end axel. I really appreciate his bedside manners. Reasonably affordable.
I had an issue with my jack to change a flat tire on the side of the road. I really appreciated the quick service and great communication on arrival time. The service was way more affordable and efficient than other companies I contacted. Highly recommend!!
Arriving home from a trip to Hagerstown Airport and looking forward to getting home, I discovered that my car wouldn't start. Nathan from Reliable Towing & Recovery got me going in short order. He called when he was on the way to confirm my exact location, arrived when he said he would (within 15 minutes), and quickly got my car going (dead battery). Nathan hung around until I was well on my way, driving out of the parking lot. He was polite, competent, and professional.
My vehicle was released without my permission. When I contacted the owner he was extremely unhelpful and wouldn’t listen to my side of the situation.
When I tried to ask him to take any type of accountability or to adjust policy so it doesn’t happen to someone else all he said was “well I’ll run my buisness and you run yours”. So while I can’t fix this for others I can warn them. They will release your car after visiting it once whether or not you agree.
First I would like to thank everyone for the professionalism from call to Cody picking up my car. It was a Saturday morning called two other towing companies still waiting for a reply LOL Reliable Towing Lives Up To Its Name also came with a flatbed truck. Thanks again Chuck.
Brittany and Samantha were incredibly informative and helpful. The owner, Eric, is empathic and truly a ray of sunshine in a difficult and stressful situation. It’s not their fault my vehicle was towed but if had to be towed by any company, I’m glad it was with Reliable towing. They did their best to make the process as smooth as possible.

I had a great experience. I was broken down on the highway during rush hour. I called AAA and within a few minutes the tow truck operator called me. A few minutes later he arrived. It was less than 15 minutes between my initial call to his arrival. The driver was so kind and after dropping the car off, he gave me a lift to my house. It was very comforting to be so well cared for in a very stressful situation.
Had to have a car towed from Frederick to Hagerstown. Great price, the ladies in the office were super nice and efficient. Cody dropped the car off and even discussed the issues of what might be wrong with the car. Will be who I call in the future. Professional, reasonable, quick, and great customer service. Definite 5 star experience.
Reliable is the only company I use for my light and medium duty towing. I trust them to tow/haul anything and I have sent them on some odd recovery trips over the years. I highly recommend and always try to send business their way.
Reliable towing was assigned and dispatched my tow from AAA. For an hour, I sat expecting them to show up at ~623am. My car was disabled in a roadway. Police arrived on scene at 550 and asked status and I told them that AAA had already dispatched reliable towing. At 620 I called and it was the same status. At 650 the officer said he really can't wait any longer and they are going to have to tow the vehicle if I can't get a real status. AAA informed me that reliable was "waiting for shift change at 7 to handle it. We can probably get someone there around 730." No update was ever given and the police didn't believe this status, because AAA and reliable had already promised an ETA and failed to deliver, so HPD dispatched their own tow. The main frustration really is a lack of communication so I didn't wait on the sidewalk in the cold for 2 hours with a cop starting to doubt my integrity because someone just didn't feel like calling and updating me and telling me to find my own tow.
This place is wonderful. My battery died, and I called them for a jump start. They arrived quickly, were knowledgeable, and helped me get back on the road with a plan in place to make sure it did not happen again. From the time I placed my call, their customer service and professionalism have earned a customer for life! (Although I hope I don't have to use them too often, lol)
Best towing company I’ve ever experienced. I called several other companies before being recommended by this one early in the morning after my trailer malfunctioned on the road. They were the only ones who picked up early in the morning, and got me out of a pickle within a hours time!! 10 stars ⭐- shout out to Rodney!!
Jeff S. was an ABSOLUTE God send to my friend & I when we broke down on I-70 last night. He got to us quickly and had her car loaded up & us safely in the wrecker all under 35 minutes. Not only did he provide REMARKABLE service but he helped keep us safe, calm & in a positive mindset. He spoke highly of the company he worked for and the owner, that made us realize just how great this company really is/was. I hope someone at the company gets to read this and you realize how awesome Jeff S. is. You got a great employee for a great company.
Nathan responded in 20 from when I called. He went right to work collecting necessary information. He checked the status of the old battery which was3 1/2 years old. Nathan showed the old battery was weak. He installed a new one. Nathan was efficient and friendly. Very good rep for Reliable Towing. Everything was done in 20 minutes.
I was at Walmart getting a new tire and tpms sensor installed. When the technician took the car for a spin, the ball joint on the driver's front side broke. So I was stranded and contacted this place for a tow. Very friendly dispatch and driver. They were quick and professional and got me, and my car home safely and quickly. I definitely recommend this place for all towing needs among other services

I have been going through a very hard time and today when I went to start my car it wouldn’t start. I thought great just one more thing. I didn’t know what I was going to do.
Then I remembered I got AAA. I’ve never used the service and was recently considering not renewing due to financial struggles. I’m so glad I didn’t.
I called and they told me they would have a truck out to my house. They quoted me he should be there by 3:19. I wasn’t holding my breath but I got the text the repair truck will be at my house at 3:24 and he was. I was surprised.
Nathan was the amazing driver and even with the cold and sleet and checked everything and discovered it was indeed my battery. He jumped my car and told me not to turn it off or it wouldn’t start. Just after he left I got a call from their office telling me to come by and we would see what we could do about getting a new battery.
When my daughter and I got their everyone was so nice. We were able to work it out and I’ve got a new battery. I don’t know what I would have done.
I don’t usually recommend places because I don’t want anyone to have a bad experience but I 100% recommend Reliable Towing.
I locked myself out of my rental car and reached out to AAA for assistance. They told me over an hour for assistance. Within minutes Daniel was on his way. He was quick to arrive, friendly, and able to get me back in my car before the pizza I had ordered for dinner was ready. I couldn't be happier with the service. It was both quick and friendly.
I was in an accident today and called AAA. I will NEVER use them again. They used a towing company I will not name, but they left me sitting for 3 hours. This same Towing company left me sitting for 4 hours on another occasion. When I called back the second time after sitting and waiting, AAA called Reliable Towing. Cody showed up promptly and took good care of getting my van to the repair shop. I will use Reliable Towing for my future Towing needs. Cody is to be commended for coming out on a Friday night to bail out AAA and the OTHER Towing company who shall not be named. Thanks Cody. You rock! P.S. AAA is NOT very reliable.
I am very thankful that Reliable Towing was suggested to me by my awesome mechanic at EK's garage on Virginia Avenue. they are the only folks that I, my family and friends will be using from now on if we need a tow to EK's Garage on Virginia Avenue. the driver/owner, I believe his name was Cody, came to pick me up. he was so friendly, patient, helpful, and understanding. he took such great care of my truck. plus you cannot beat the price.
There I was on the side of route 81 just north of Greencastle with dead car since the alternator failed. I called Reliable and about 1hr later as promised Cody showed up. He was awesome, took good care of my car, treating it like it was his own, and provided some much needed good conversation on the way to dealership where I was taking my car. He even offered to leave me with a phone charger if I needed it!. I couldn't have been happier with the level of service I received from Reliable and Cody.
Last week, we were on Rt. 70 and had a tire blowout. Fortunately, we were near an exit. We were about three hours from home and and hour and a half from our destination. The only tire available to match what we needed was about 30 miles away. Fortunately, a tow was arranged from Reliable Towing. Cory was our driver. He showed up quickly and was courteous, professional and just helped made an awful situation that much easier. (He even had a charge cord he let me use for my phone.) When I locked the keys in my car I called Reliable who happens to be located right behind where I locked myself out. A few minutes later Cody came to my rescue! It took a little work but within 10 minutes or so he got my door open & I retrieved my keys. Payment with my card was fast & easy with the link they sent to me. I would recommend Reliable to anyone who needs service that can be provided by a towing company. My whole experience was fast, friendly & very easy!
My battery died in a shopping center lot and they were out on the site in no time. Fast and easy replacement, great price, and able to resolve payment right there on my phone. Very friendly and professional, highly recommended if you need a battery service
