Horrible service. I wish i could give no stars. Update: Its 2025 and they still have horrible service. The employee couldn’t service ANYONE. Cause it was just him and one other employee that he was CLEARLY FLIRTING WITH!! He apparently couldn’t leave her face to do his job. TERRIBLE YEARS LATER STILL Very rude service, always leaving one person at the front. I waited for 30 mins to be helped, for the manager to get smart and suggest a mechanic for a battery THEY installed wrong. I have warranty for what? Do not go there. Go to the one in greenway. They need to fire the whole lazy team and hire new people

Today, at 11:25 09.24.25, I asked the teller (man) for the 2011 Subaru Impreza 2.5i front brakes. I asked for the circumference. First, she gave me the mm. I asked him for "inches." Second - "I can not convert the metric system. Finally, He added, "I can not DO THAT! Third - I do not have a tape measure WHAT A WORTHLESS SERVICE!

I went to Advance Auto Parts in New Carrollton to purchase front and rear brake pads and rotors. The customer service was excellent! I want to thank Caden L. and his amazing staff for assisting me and helping me get everything I needed.

Went in to find a few parts for my car and was helped by Carlos. He had excellent customer service and was patient while answering every question I had. He was able to find everything I needed. I've had bad experiences with auto parts stores before but i'll definitely be returning to this location.

Carlos was amazing. He went above and beyond to ensure I was happy with my purchase. He educated me on each product. Carlos also educated me on how to install my wiper blades while he installed them for me!

Cashier was on a video call while working with me. It was very very confusing because he was talking to a love interest which lead to him seeming to say some very inappropriate things to me. I would recommend trying to find an alternative to this store

The cashier was on his phone the entire time but he did get me the oil filter I needed,was so busy on his phone,almost forgot to give it to me..I told him thank you twice before leaving,no response.That phone call was much more important then customer service so I'll stick to the location by my home

I wish there was a zero star to give to the worst customer service I have ever had my whole life plus the dishonesty that goes on in there. I bought oil for my car and I was sold a used oil( as black and dirty as you'd imagine. When I went there the response I got was beyond my control. They refuse to refund my money and guess what, I left with no refund. I hope they improve on management/customer care. Never setting my foot in that place ever

I would like to say the customers here are very helpful and kind, I was there couple minutes ago trying to get a tool to take out my tags light. Raul was there to help find one, it toke couple minutes to get the right tool and also it toke hard time getting out the bulb. Thank you 🙏 I appreciate this place so much.

The Manager ( Yasi) needs to fire. I reached this store at 7:25 pm I need to do do the just engine light check. There was a so called Manager Yasi a spanish girl. I request her multiple times to do that because I was going all the way Gaithersburg MD. She refused to help wrost customer service. But she was helping the spanish people not me because o was asian. I HAD TO ALL THE WAY TO ANOTHER 7 mile to auto zone. Worst Customer Service. this auto parts station have.

Jose helped me gather everything I needed, very good customer service. Notified me of the specials going on with some of the items I needed, Even walked my bags to my vehicle for me, bcse he seen I was pregnant and items looked quite heavy. Came back to exchange an item he did so very quickly and solved the issue, I had forgot to tell him the info of a item, which he handled. There was also a disgruntled, frustrated customer there as well,who he handled with pure professionalism. He and the woman(didn't catch her name) on shift, were very nice and efficient.

So I have been trying to get my battery changed since Tuesday night, after my car would not start twice and I had to get a jump. I came Tuesday around 630 and they said it’s too dark, come back another time. I called and asked for the manger on Wednesday at 11:25am and he said that was the policy. So I said if I come in at 8am could I get service for my battery and he said yes. Fast forward to Friday at 7:51am. I am waiting for the doors to open. 8:05am, a Hispanic gentlemen comes to open the door for two other employees. 8:15 I walk in to give time to get settled, and the guy tells me he cannot change my battery because they are having some complications right now. Meanwhile, another guy stands behind the counter next to him staring blankly. NEVER HAVE I EVER HAD ANY ISSUES LIKE THIS IN MY LIFE. I am from the Beltsville college park area of PG, and they provide excellent service every time. Since my job is 5 minutes away, I thought this would be more convenient for me. So long story short, I’ve been up since 645am, waited outside of AAP since 750 and still got no service. I am appalled and I will be taking this to corporate, I’ve never seen such a group of unorganized men who are supposed to provide good customer service. #advancedautoparts

Parts not delivered as promised which made it very inconvenient to arrange repair of vehicle. Assured that parts would be available the next day. Parts did not arrive until late evening two days later. Some staff were helpful while others were not properly trained to perform computer orders or to look up parts.

I went to this location at 7:23 pm asking for Remote battery for my key less control, I think this guy was the supervisor had a gray polo, the store has the battery he refused to open the control and sell me the battery, because someone from the store opened another control remote before they got sue.. Really dissatisfied with the employee and not helpful. How is a possible has this kind customer service .

I bought some rotors, brakes and brake grease online to do my wife rear brakes and the customer service I received was top notch. I made an error on my online pick-up order and had to make multiple adjustments. Not only was the female that helped me polite but she went out her way to ensure my order was fixed. The brake have been done (DIY) and I feel like I made the correct decision buying my parts from this location.

The front counter staff members are incredibly friendly. I am guessing this young lady is a manager (different shirt) was also very helpful. She was helping the rest out with various tasks, and explaining things to them more like a teacher than a "boss". Very cool. As far as my visit, I was picking up some commercial items. They had everything on hand. Awesome!

Joe was so helpful in helping me find a part I needed for my car he called around to different stores trying to locate the part I needed After spending some time Joe did locate the part I needed and had it sent to the store it was there when Joe said it would be. Terrible store and lazy associates, I try not to say that about any business if it's a first time experience. In this case I frequent here and unfortunately the black associate at the front (2 black dudes) one with cornrows supposedly is the manager wouldn't help even though he wasn't doing anything. Again it wasn't the first time..was standing

I ordered an air filter and was guaranteed it would be in the next day, it arrived a day later. Called to ask the price of an air conditioning compressor arrived at the store to purchase it and the store then told me it was an additional $70.00 to honor the warranty. I recently purchased a hydraulic jack and the one I was given was not the one I choose. When I arrived home and opened it, it was used! When I returned the next morning with the receipt the store would not take the jack back. Telling me it was used and they don't sale used products. Yet here I am with a used jack from your store! Very poor service! I will spend my money elsewhere!

Horrible. When I first went in was to get spark plugs for my 02 acura. The car has never had an issue and its been incredibly maintained. Once I walked in they greeted me and asked how they could help, they had all my cars information pulled up in the system.The associate sold me the wrong spark plugs which caused my car to start misfiring. When I went back to exchange them, they were confused as to why I would purchase said spark plugs and exclaimed that the brand wasn't for imports. Not once when I was purchasing did they try to sell or even recommend me the "correct" brand.

Outstanding customer service, Excellent collaboration among team members to ensure that the right product is recommended for customers, Outstanding focus on customer satisfaction, etc., etc.. These are the words in one sentence that I can use to describe the unparallel and awesome crew members at the New Carrollton Advanced Auto Parts store (store number 08009). Upon realizing that the power steering fluid of my luxurious fully loaded and quite expensive nissan murano was empty due to a surprising leak, I rushed to the New Carrollton Auto Advanced Parts store. There I was warmly met by Ms. Foy, a very friendly staff of the store. I simply mentioned that I needed a power steering fluid and she took me to the right section to choose from a variety of the product. I grabbed a fluid and headed for the register to pay for it. However, the great attention to detail by Ms. foy who walked up to ring me resulted in a convetsation about my murano which attracted the attention Mr. Thomas, another crew member. Mr Thomas decided to walk with me outside the store to my car at the parking lot to ensure that what I came to the store to buy was actually what my nissan really needed. Upon reaching my car, Mr Thomas and I realize that what my murano needed was an ATF dextron transmission fluid. I had walked to the store earlier on asking for the wrong thing. Quickly, Mr. Thomas, Ms. Foy, Ms. Cindi and another person by name Mr Donald rushed to the computer, looked up my vehicle's specification and located the exact oil type that I needed.My car is running smoothly now with the right kind of power steering fluid because of the outstanding work of the team members of this store. I am glad I came to this location. I shall always return to this store for my vehicle needs.
