Founded on January 1, 2000, as a family owned and operated business, AlleyCat Towing & Recovery was a very small modest company, with only one truck and two employees. AlleyCat Towing soon earned a very strong, positive reputation for offering quick, courteous service. The first contract AlleyCat obtained was with AAA (American Automobile Association), and it is still going strong to this day. As time passed, AlleyCat grew within a very short time to having four trucks, and to being deemed a very reliable business by AAA. Over the years, the company has continued to grow in size, and has retained its stellar reputation for being reliable and quick to respond to dispatched calls, and for providing high-quality customer service.

Great service, John arrived at the 4 car pileup and quickly cleaned up the mess while taking care of all of the cars. Next day I came to the impound and the staff was very accommodating on a rushed timeline and with Antonio taking my car to the repair shop we were able to get my car's service started within 24 hours. This was the second time I needed an large, 8x20 storage unit moved for my landscaping business.
I was fortunate to speak with Tremaine, one of the tow truck drivers at the office.
After explaining where I needed the unit moved to, in a cordial but confident manner Treamaine assured me the job would get done.
A couple of days later, Treamaine arrived at the location, for the storage unit on the Big Boy Truck and with laser like presicion and professionalism, moved it exactly where I needed it.
Tremaine is definitely an asset to the Alley Cat towing company.
Service was flawless from start to finish. In addition, the price was better than other competitors as well .

I highly recommend Alleycat Towing Service, especially Mickey! Alleycat responded to our request immediately and was on site to help us quickly. The same night we were told 2 hour waits (or longer!) from other emergency roadside and towing services. Mickey managed our situation capably and efficiently and made our situation much less stressful.
I live in a complex that they are “SUPPOSE” to ride through and check for PARKING STICKERS EVERY NIGHT, and they DO NOT!!!! I have to call almost EVERY SINGLE NIGHT to ask for someone to come out because I have nowhere to park. 2/100 times they will come. It’s ALWAYS cars parked in our parking lot with NO STICKERS….. OLD STICKERS…..DEAD TAGS, and they NEVER COME!!!! I’ve reported this to the rental office PLENTY of times. I’ve NEVER known a tow company that DON’T want to do their job that MAKES THEM THE MONEY!!! Then they ALWAYS LIE and say they came, but I have a camera that says OTHERWISE!!! I can’t WAIT until the property manager finds another REAL tow company that WANTS to do their job, to come around EVERY night to make it fair for EVERYONE that live here has a parking space. ALLEYCAT TOWING ARE LAZY LIARS!!!! You don’t want to do your job, you SHOULDN’T HAVE SIGNED THE CONTRACT!!!!
I was in desperate need of transporting my truck from MD to Va with a flat dry rot tire and couldn't find the tire lock key. It seemed like no one could help. So I did a google search and found Alleycat Towing. I chose them based on their good reviews, and now I see why. Termaine was the driver. He was fast and courteous and got my truck there within 4 hours. He took pictures when it was delivered. I would highly recommend them if you need out of state towing. 10/10
Great experience, it was a little expensive for 7 miles but my tow truck driver chuckie was there in a good amount of time and was very nice and high spirited. He sent me pictures of him filling out my service slip and dropping my car and keys off. definitely a good experience with this company.

I was trying to order a Uber and I was having no luck and he was nice enough to take me home in a safe area. My tow driver Roberto was absolutely amazing. He came to my rescue so quickly. He was very professional. Conversation was great. I couldn't ask for a better driver. The experience I had with AlleyCat towing and David K #30 the truck operator towing my 1966 Ford F100 was quite possibly the best towing experience I have ever witnessed. My steering was out and David was still able to put it on the truck and drop it off and put it perfectly into a spot with what looked like no effort. The technique he used also felt like I was watching a live show and he did it was the style and expertise of a seasoned veteran. I doubt I will ever use another tow company when it comes to towing my classic car or any car for that matter. Thank you David & Thank you AlleyCat once again. 10/10 5 stars!
David K#30 met us at the lot where my car was stored for safe keeping by PGC PD after an accident. He was a professional and very knowledgeable about procedures and more importantly how to tow my German car without causing damage. He towed from MD to VA (80 miles) and informed us with photos when he arrived. The dispatcher was great also! This is a professional outfit and charge reasonable fees. Highly recommend!! On February 15,2025 my Honda Accord was stuck in mud and we called AlleyCat Towing the lady who took our call was very nice she said that the driver would arrive 30 minutes or less and he arrived less than 30 minutes and his name was David K #30 he was so helpful and it took him less than 10 minutes to get my car out of all that mud. He came in at a moments notice on an RV deal that I was negotiating through, double checked to make sure everything was legit with the purchase, and pulled an absolute miracle tow. I had a great experience with this towing service. The driver- David K #30 got to me within 45 minutes during Friday night rush hour traffic and had my car loaded onto his truck almost immediately. Very prompt, professional, and polite service for a decent price.

Very good towing company. I was trying to recover my car from another towing company and the dispatcher was very helpful and even contacted the other towing company to see if they were allowed to be on their property. As for the actual towing the service was great and fast. David should definitely get a pay raise, such a great and friendly guy. As for the price its fair and reasonable.
My name is Haider Chowdhury & I used the towing services last night in Hyattsville. My car was in a major intersection & needed to be removed within 30 minutes or otherwise will be impounded. State trooper gave me the number for Allycat and the dispatcher who answered the phone was simply more than wonderful, pleasant and understanding.. The tow truck came within 20 minutes, guided by Mickey, who was simply a lifesaver. I’m struggling financially . for last few months I only had so much cash on me, and a little short of what was required. Mickey was polite and patient , and took care of the issue and left me in a safe spot. Not only that he also I had a little money to eat, and promised me to check on me the day after. I only have horrific experiences with average towing companies. Needless to say, this was such a pleasant experience I will remember this all the rest of my life, and relate my experience to as many others as possible. Alley Cat towing saved my *** this morning. My car broke down in the middle of rush hour this in Downtown DC. I called them and the tow truck was there in less than 20 mins and Roberto, the two truck driver couldn't have been more helpful. Got my vehicle up and towed all the way to the Dealership without me needing to be there with the car. He even helped me take out the child seat I forgot to take out after the car was already on the tow bed. I couldn't be more happy with their service. I definitely recommend them.
Recommend above others for towing of luxury and electric vehicles due to flatbed towing requirements and quality service provided. A friend recommended Alleycat Towing and Recovery and identified them as the best compared to a couple of other companies they personally used before. When I called for towing service, there were no drivers available and I was called back within the hour with notification that a driver would arrive within 30 minutes. The driver (Breaker) loaded my electric vehicle on the flatbed and treated it like it was his own. Breaker’s professionalism and competence about Tesla’s was evident; he was aware of activating the towing feature on the screen to prevent the alarm from activating during the tow. Soon after he loaded my vehicle, I paid with my credit card over the phone without any difficulties and no surcharge. As soon as Breaker arrived at the Tesla certified collision center, he called to confirm arrival.
