Honest, competitive pricing. Agreed to .20/lb for dirty aluminum but they went out of their way to separate and pay .45/lb for the dirty extruded.
ATM machine works much better now. Was messed up for a while. If they ever redo the pothole-ridden roads it will be easy 5 stars.
i agree very poor customer service. ladies nd the guys at the weigh in spot. Are super extremely rude. And you 100% get ripped off turning copper, led, etc. will never come here again i suggested anyone go some place else, unless you wanna get scammed.
So went to this scrap yard twice. No more how can the stuff I took at two different times add up to 15 bucks usually I get about 40 for the type of load I had and they charge you service fees when I go to other scrap yards I get points that add up to free stuff and cash
Ive come here for a long time and the staff is responsive and helpfull! I've always got a fair price according to the worth of metal that month or year. I would like to know if this place takes out door ac unit compressors that have be emptied and decompressed?
Rude and unhelpful. Told me multiple times that they accept the item I was scrapping and then upon arrival was told they don't take it. Don't wate your time here.
If I could do half a star I would. Had to call 6 times to get someone to answer the phone. Was told light steel was $7/100lbs got there and was told it's $6/100lbs and that I didn't call. Tried calling 10 more times and no one answered. Will never go here again
I would like to say , I looked at the reviews. I see alot of issues with Customer service. I am choosing to go elsewhere because of what I see in these reviews. I deal with this same issue in DC. Not going there for those reasons. Plus I see that you guys are not fair. To many bad reviews for me.
Make sure you pay attention to your scrap and your ticket. They will lie about what you have just to save money. Ive had to tell them multiple times thats they weighted my copper as brass and it says it on the paper.
Then they would always try and catch a attitude and argue!!

Who knew an air conditioner could get you medications from a lol pharmacy? Give them your air conditioner and buy your coca. Make it hot, and make it hot.

Usually you can see the weight of your material not here they would weigh but only the ladies can see it. Only thing good is the guy that operates the machine to remove junk. He said he been there for 15 years. Very nice gentleman
Would give 0 stars if possible. Sent my employee there with what would have typically been $350-$400 worth of air conditioning units to scrap. These ripoff artist sent him back with $54. Called to complain and (after 2 days of calls they finally answered the phone) and then tried to justify their ripoff tactics. No offer to make restitution. Definitely take your business elsewhere.
Workers want to treat you like crap, only because your recycling scrap. THEY need to teach this people some customer services skills. Everyone should stop going here until they raised the prices and until they show their workers to treat you with respect.
They pay what it's worth. Do not go to shady Grove recycling in Beltsville. They paid me 15 cents a pound for number 3 wire when everyone else was Paying 30 cents..
Below market for scrap... easy to get to... good place to drop off junk you don't want. Inaccurate weights for smaller loads. not really worth the drive if you have anything under a large truck load.
Used to be a cement plant around back and some gnarly mud pits with quicksand in the 70s. I remember everyone used to go party back there after scoring booze at the mall. I even remember some psychos bragging about dead bodies in that mud pit.
