I used my insurance roadside assistance and they sent advantage Wrecker and Roadside Assistance. It was a Friday and approaching rush hour and they still made it there in decent time. Alex was my driver and attempted to Jumpstart my truck so I wouldn't need a tow and even checked connections. I really appreciate the extra effort to help me. I would definitely recommend them if your in a bind. Thank you for going the extra mile Alex!

Rude and unprofessional driver! This was an insurance roadside assistance tow, I knew where I wanted my car taken and reviewed with them the low clearance of the garage. The tow driver attempted to persuade me on putting some junkyard parts in my 2023 vehicle as he works a side job at a junk yard! I stated I have a foreign vehicle and I'm comfortable using the shop I know. He became irate and then couldn't perform the service! I'm a female and I felt pressured by him like I don't know my car nor read up on its maintenance requirements ! I plan to also file a complaint with the Better Business Bureau as this was unacceptable, he drove off screaming out the window in my nice quiet neighborhood
RUN AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY!
I locked my keys, phone and wallet in my car (I was just going to throw something in a trash can), so I had to call from a retail business and fortunately Alex was able to find me in the crowded parking lot. He was very helpful, quick and professional, thank you Advantage.
I normally don’t leave 1 star reviews but this was just terrible. My insurance selected them and I waited 4.5 hours in the side of a highway. They kept delaying the time they were supposed to arrive and I would have to call for an update.
Let's see: My insurance company selected this company to come get me when my car blew a flat. The driver was 45 minutes late, then tried to get me to pull my car onto his flatbed because he didn't want to (I declined). Then while strapping my car to his truck, snagged my brake line, pinning it to the wheel and destroying it sending brake fluid everywhere doing north of $2200 worth of damage to the car Thankfully, the insurance company is covering the damage but it's almost a month later and I still don't have my car back. Avoid like the plague.
This company was dispatched by USAA to tow my car. Received a text that they would be there in 90 minutes. Left the car and input the details in the app. Asked to be contacted when in route if the key was needed. Driver called when onsite to say he needs the key. Told the driver it would take 15 minutes to meet him and I would call him back when my rideshare was confirmed. Called the driver back in 2 minutes and no answer. Called the main office to let him know that I'd be at the vehicle in 15 minutes and encountered the rudest dispatcher. This guy had the audacity to tell me he was doing me a favor for a paid service. That is the most triggering statement you can make in a paid relationship. I see why they have a 2.2 rating. Do not use this company.
My car was stuck in a drainage ditch and despite my best efforts, I was unable to maneuver it out. Alex from Advantage came to the rescue. He was able to deftly work the wheel to enable the car to escape the ditch without needing to use his truck or cause any damage. He had a very positive attitude, was skilled, .and had a good sense of humor. Thanks again, Alex! It was a sincere pleasure to meet you in spite of my need for roadside assistance!
geico sent this company out when i hit a pothole and got a flat tire. the guy they sent out after 1.5 hours didn't speak english. he didn't put my spare on correctly which resulted in my spare being completely flat and unable to fill it with air. I had to call a friend to speak spanish to the guy. he wanted me to drive my car on the rim of the spare to a gas station to fill the tire with air and leave me on the side of the road unable to drive my car. I made him tow my car to three gas stations until we found one with air but as i mentioned it wouldn't fill with air because he put the spare on incorrectly. when i finally got new tires the next day after signing up for AAA the shop told me my spare was a good tire. never use this company. they obviously don't care about the people who need them!!!! i would give no stars but theres no option for that
We were connected with Advanced Wrecker through our insurance after my teenager and a deer came in contact causing significant damage. I was 1.5 hours from the car driving to it when they called and said a driver would be dispatched and do the round trip back to our home from college. The dispatcher and driver were nice, and did an amazing job and I cannot thank them enough for jumping on the call so quickly.
Amazing service! The team at Advantage was professional, timely, and incredibly helpful when my car wouldn't start. They turned a stressful situation into a smooth experience with their efficiency and positive attitude. Highly recommend!
These people are nasty. Please don't ever use them. I would never ever call them because they made me wait 5+ hours on good weather/condition for tire change. Imagine you're in a bad weather condition waiting for 5+ hours? They suck and I hope they go out of business soon.
This place was contracted by my insurance provider to tow my jeep from my house to a mechanic. The tow truck driver called me and asked what was wrong with my jeep, I told him it was a manual transmission and it wasn't going into gear, he asked if it was stuck in gear and I said no, and asked how long before they would arrive and he said he would call me back, but instead he canceled the call, that I learned from a subsequent text from my insurance company. I tried calling him back but he sent me to voicemail and an autogenerated text saying he'd call me back, I texted asking why he cancelled my tow but he didn't respond. I looked up the company on Google and called their main number and the guy said they cancelled because I need a dolly because my car is stuck I gear, and I said no it's not, it's in neutral and won't go into gear, and he said his guy said it was stuck in gear and then the jerk hung up on me! They clearly do not know enough about cars to be providing even a basic service like towing, and they are clearly too ignorant to even tell you they're cancelling your service call; not very ethical or reliable. I called my insurance company and told they about it so maybe they will stop contracting this place because they did nothing but waste time and be rude.
Geico hooked me up with this provider. They were probably too far from me and estimated to arrive 1 hour 40 minutes later. I called them to double check on their distance and that someone was coming to help me. The person who picked up the phone was so rude that it totally threw me off and I ended up canceling the service with them. Not only it was going to take too long but when you have a problem with your car and you are alone on the side of the road waiting for help, you want to hear someone on the other side assuring you there is someone coming to help instead of someone treating you like you are inconveniencing them.
My car needed a tow, my insurance company arranged for Advantage Wrecker & Roadside Assistance to come to my location during Annapolis Friday rush hour. Much like FedEx or Uber, the company sent a link to track the driver’s location. Unfortunately it never displayed anything, not sure whether it was my connection, data rates or software issues. Great idea if it had worked.
The operator and driver of the tow truck, Gary, was surprisingly punctual given traffic on a Friday afternoon, and arrived within the stated time. He very efficiently hitched up my car to the truck, including literally building a towing trailer or dolly under the rear wheels as he explained the process. Very personable man who was informative and upbeat.
I felt sorry for him later when I found out the shop I’d arranged to be towed to was on the other side of the Bay Bridge. Like I said, it was Friday rush hour in Annapolis - that bridge is not a good thing to drive on at that time of day.
Love these guys! I waited hours for my insurance company to send roadside assistance. When I called Advantage, they came immediately. They even arrived half an hour earlier than the estimated time they had given me!
Then when we realized my parking garage didn’t have the 8 foot clearance I had been told it had, Gary the tow truck driver just grabbed his gear and went to see if he could fix my car on the spot.
My son and I had already tried jumping the Toyota battery - with no luck. So I thought it was the starter. But Gary got the jump to work AND took the time to show me why my jump DIDN’T work.
Fun fact - we had used a BMW to jump the Toyota. Turns out the plus/minus BMW tells you to use under the hood is not the actual battery source. That is in the trunk … which BMW doesn’t explain in the Owner’s Manual. Why? Lots of theories. But who knows. The bottom line is Gary knew what to do AND was kind enough to teach me how to do it myself in the future.

I had to contact roadside assistance due to my car not starting. My insurance called this company and I tell you 2 and 1/2 hours later, I was still sitting in the cold, at night waiting for someone to come tow my car. Not one person from this company contacted me to let me know the status of the service or an updated ETA. When I called the establishment, no one answered the phone. As a woman, being stuck in her car, at night in the cold, this is something I would not wish on my worst enemy. This company needs to do better and at this point, I do not recommend using them if this is the type of service they offer
