I was a little skeptical because of the reviews so I thought I would share my experience. I actually work at an automotive shop and we usually buy from local salvage yards that offer a parts and labor warranty but couldn’t find one. I am in VA and our JDM was $1800 and MD JDM was $1400. I decided to call to talk to someone but no one answered( I called from a business line and my cell). I thought maybe they thought it was spam since the number was out of state. But they returned my call within 10 mins but I had already placed the order online which he confirmed. I ordered after 2:00pm on Wednesday and it was delivered by 11:00am Friday! The motor itself was in great condition but don’t plan on using the wire harness, alternator or any other sensors because they were cut and damaged. But hey I’m buying the engine not what’s around it. Car started up with no issues purring like a kitten. Only put about 50 miles on engine. I had no problems with this company and will use them in the future.
Called them on the phone and they confirmed 6 of the engines I needed in stock. The guy working the front desk was very professional and even helped me pick the engine that looked the very best. 15 minutes and I had the beautiful replacement engine loaded up in my truck. Installed in my beater and now its running like a champ again. Would buy from again!
Excellent Professional Reliable/Trustworthy Business!!! Bought an engine under 57,000 miles on it for a 2008 Toyota Sienna... Communication wasn't a problem at all... Zoom Zoom Zoom, engine is running like it's brand new!!! So far So Good... Definitely will update if anything changes but I believe everything is going to be just fine... He is a very bad guy I order a transmission for a 2019 Toyota Camry and he sent me 2 wrong transmission and I call to sent me back the money he I will sent you just your money no the mechanic money he made me lose 2000 dollar he is a very bad guy

BAD TRANSMISSION! Zero support. They will song and dance you all the way. DO NOT buy big parts from these scammers! The part failed in less than 10 days after installation with multiple communications with the sellers. Total transparency with zero response after they "offered" a partial refund. They knew the part was going to the islands no issues with the sale only after when we told them the unit was faulty. They are really good at making excuses. I repeat don't buy anything big from this seller you will regret it.
I ordered a 2011 toyota sienna awd used transmission(60k miles) from JDM Motors. Less than 4 days later, my mechanic received the transmission and couldn't believe the Excellent deal that I got. He is looking forward to working with JDM. Mike and Wais @ MD JDM made my experience comfortable and stress free. I highly recommend these guys. Professional and courteous from start to finish.
My wife's 05' Honda Element with 400k had an engine issue. head gasket to be exact. I was quoted $2,800 from a reputable, nationwide repair facility. I was told on Face Book to look into MD JDM Motors. After the 100x someone mentioned MD JDM, I started looking into it. I contacted them. They had great communication via phone and email. The engine and S&H costs were told to me upfront. It was a 1/3rd the cost I was originally estimated @ $2,800, to get an engine with 1/8th the milage. It was a no brainer. They shipped within a day or two, and it came clean, exact as the photo, and I even was given some technical advice on what to look for the make this Japanese market engine fit my American version. MD JDM saved my wife's vehicle, (a possibly my marriage of 30 years :), because she loves that Element. I've put pictures and photos of the finished product on my Element club on FB. I will 100% co-sign my name to any endorsements to use them. If you love that vehicle, allow MD JDM to help you continue that love for many years to come.

Where to start? I’ve bought 2 engines and transmissions from MD JDM. Both engines compression tested and inspected in person. Bought a few set of wheels and some JDM items here and there. Prices were transparent and competitive. They stand behind their parts and their warranty. Both Mike and Wais are men of their word and for that they’ve earned both my trust and my business. Highly recommend them.
Great products & service. My engine blew after 300k miles and i got changed here. Pricing was reasonable and 60k mile engine came out in great working condition also came with warranty. Definitely recommend the place!!!
My son blew his engine in his BMW M8, I looked all over for a used engine with low miles, I found what I was looking for at MD JDM, Mike was awesome to work with, he sent us videos with it working where other places I looked at did not. He shipped the engine out next day was received at the dealer a few days later, the engine came very clean was a smooth transition for the technician. It runs and looks like a brand new car even though its a 2020. Pease view the pictures.
Great experience, honest, well packed, highly recommended! I placed an order on their website & got a call the next morning about what they felt could be a possible concern and just to let me know of certain imperfections which I could clearly see on the listing and was well aware of already. A lot of establishments will post pictures that Camoflauge imperfections and try to hide things but not this company. They want you to know the exact condition of what you are getting. I bought a set or rare JDM wheels for my CL9 tsx… Mike was very polite and gave me a great deal on them. The look of my car is just as I wanted, and everything was smooth and very professional. Be mindful of any bad reviews, as we are all buying used parts. You take a risk with every purchase, a few bad experiences doesnt define a business. That said, will definitely come back soon with friends. Highly recommend to anyone in the DMV area.
Ordered some cl7/cl9 euro R front and rear recaro seat set and they shipped out super fast and called me to let me know how everything was going! And the seat were wrapped up extremely well so nothing got damaged! Great experience will be using them again in the future for sure! Thanks again guys!
I purchased a b18c1 motor through this company back in 2020. I know i dont have warranty on the engine anymore, but i wanted to express my experience with the motor. Upon purchase the motor wasnt installed right away because i was prepping the engine bay. The motor was later installed approximately 6months later. I drove the car on and off as it was a project car and I had another vehicle as my primary. I believe i drove the car approximately 5 months and noticed some oil leaking from the valve cover under the vtec solenoid. I had to continuously wipe the block and add oil to the engine. One day I was driving the car and heard something break with the vehicle shutting off. The car was towed to my house and was sitting for a little over a year before recently pulling the motor and having it disassembled. After disassembly, I was advised that the valves were bent. I'm a little disappointed at the quality of the motor with the valves bending and the oil leaking.

I have to say i was scared the last 8 months since i bought this engine, but there was nothing to worry about, bought this 1jz gte to swap it on my car and it sounds amazing no internal noises still i have to put the muffler because it sounds like a tractor when im revving it, if i would do another proyect i would choose them again ;)
My Prius engine died, had to decide on a new engine or new car, based on finances, decided to go the cheaper route. Never had a car engine swapped, didn't know what to expect, hoped for the best.
I have only had the car back for a couple of weeks, so far seems like a solid decision.
Weis made me feel comfortable, not pushy and seemed genuine, Mike the manager was easy to coordinate with and had my car back to me a day earlier than quoted.

Good prices for current market. Great variety of motors, transmissions, and other JDM accessories. They also do installs so you don’t need to look for a mechanic. Also, free delivery if you are in the area which is great since I don’t have a truck. Definitely recommend these guys!
This place is the real deal. I've purchased one engine and one transmission and so far so good. Wais is a great guy who stands by his products. I had one issue with the trans and he was able to assist and resolve immediately without hesitation. Great place of business, 5 stars all the way!
I had recently couple weeks back came by here to buy a k24a high compression engine and a b20b high compression engine for my friend. B20b was good no problems but I discovered on the k24a that although all cylinders had good 210psi of compression... cylinder 4 would not pass a leak down test due to exhaust valve leaking on that cylinder. Customer requested both as he is a very meticulous person.
Called up wais and talked to him that I took the engine accessories off as it doesn’t quite match the customers vehicle application but that I have a problem with the cylinder 4 leaking on the exhaust valves he did not hesitate and said bring it on back and we will exchange it for another one free of cost. Just went back today and did the both tests on another k24a and passed great! Customer will be happy and can’t thank you enough for your awesome prices and customer service!
So I purchased a motor from these guys and before I picked it up I ended up finding a Craigslist deal that fit my needs better. Originally there is a 25% restocking fee (which I was made aware of beforehand.) I called the day I was supposed to pick up to cancel. They kindly cut 10% off the restock fee for me, and instantly refunded the rest, so I am leaving a positive review because they have at least demonstrated they care about customer service.
Do not buy from these people! Read reviews, I purchased an engine on EBay with free shipping, now I am receiving bills from shipping Co. because they never paid them. My lawyer advised I pay the shipping because ultimately the buyer is responsible for the shipping and now I have to sue them to get my money back. Many hours of my time waisted on dealing with this issue. MD JDM is not worth this aggravation to many other quality JDM sellers out there.
