Ted's Towing has been my choice of towing service for the past 15 years. They have always performed the duty asked of them at the highest level of professionalism and in a timely manner. Prices are reasonable, and the new ownership has been great! I always request them through AAA, and have had all my vehicles serviced at their auto shop. Best in the business!
The driver did not follow the mechanics requests how to remove the car from the tow truck. He ripped off the front bumper. He brought the car down sideways. The bumper was not damaged prior to towing. I have several pictures, videos, and several witnesses. I now have to pay for a new bumper. I called to discuss the issue, the person who answered informed me they towed the car, yelled at me, would not discuss the issue, and hung up in my face. The person told me he’s the manager.
It’s unfortunate that businesses take your money, damage your property, and don’t own up to it.
I haven't even used your service but felt compelled to leave this review. Tonight (fri.april 18th, around 9:15 pm) at the intersection of belair road and putty hill/rossville.. by child and I were sitting at the red-light and touched fingers in a family invented signal for "I love you" based on sign language. The driver of a beautiful bright red peterbuilt truck called down to ask us about it and we had such a lovely interaction for the span of a red-light.
The driver was a black man, and I o ly mention that because I feel sad that I didn't get his name, but I hope the time and location help figure out who it is, because he was kind and polite and professional and we are very glad to have had a moment to share kind words in a world filled with not so kind ones.

Thursday morning on my way to work, I got pulled over for all of the fault of my own! I was frustrated, angry at myself and late for work. I called the first tow company and he said it would be an hour and half. NO WAY GEESH!!! Then I called Ted’s…
He answered immediately and was to me and my car in less than 20 mins!!!! They made that HORRIBLE experience for me, suddenly okay to deal with. PLEASE call Ted’s. They are very responsive and prompt!!! Thank you so much
I was strandedundecided, the road in Maryland. I call up Ted’s towing. They were able to come fast pick my car up and take it to the required mechanic shop so that I can get it fixed. The driver was friendly, kind courteous but most of all, I was surprised they were able to come and take the car less than 30 minutes,. Yeah, do you wanna see what I say
This towing service/service station is the best. I called them from a hotel in Waldorf, MD and the tow truck operator picked me up at the hotel and drove me several miles to pick up my car. They drove me at least 10 miles to get me home and to take my car to the service station, which I am glad to say is near my house. They have a very knowledgeable diagnostic specialist, Kim Frank, who replaced and repaired my coil and plugs in my Challenger. Mr. Frank is a very talented and skilled mechanic. My car is running like it did when it was new. I certainly will ask for their help again when I need it.
Mohammad was extremely help from the 1st time we met him. He allowed us access n2 the lot even though it was 10 mins from closing, explained what I should do next, & patiently waited for us to clear out the totaled car almost an hour after access time. He is very friendly & extremely professional.
Jay and Pappy were exceptional easy to deal with. They were so full of good energy. What is usually a bad type of experience was quite pleasant. We were in and out in very quickly. I was so pleasantly surprised!!!
I had Dean tow my Mercedes quite a long distance. Very professional and took extra extra care loading my car. Super easy to work with and timely. Highly recommend this company!
Only giving one star because I have to in order to do a review! WORSE. Service imaginable. Trying to help my brother get his car they told him 215 and 75 for a tow to outside their gate because technically the car is not drivable and I had a way of getting the vehicle to the shop it was going to. Well when I call to handle everything not even 10min later it jumps from 75 to 100 and the car is only going a couple of feet out side of their gate. From the moment they answered the phone they were rude and highly unprofessional!!! So I asked how did it go from 75 to 100 in 10min I got hung up on when I asked well in that case how much is it to take it where it needs to go! So on top of that it went from 215 to being 315. All of these prices changing in a manner of minutes with no clear explanation or one that made any sense. Not to mention they were asked if they could do the work on the car that needed to be done and first it was no then it was we can do it. They are extremely lazy and seriously try to get over on women. I would NEVER use them or even refer anyone to them!
I used Ted’s Towing to do a long tow (200 miles). Dean went WAY above and beyond to help us!! He was on time and came with a smile!
He paid close attention to detail! I was concerned because the vehicle was low to the ground, that it wouldn’t make it on the truck without being damaged. Dean took extra care to make sure it didn’t tear up the vehicle! I HIGHLY recommend Dean for your towing!
I never forget this day that men fix my car from my door he does very very good job. He’s name trina I call my insurance and it comes very very quick 15 minutes. You need 10 points from me. He’s a good man.

The driver stated its was 8 miles and why the cost went up and I disputed it was only 6.9 miles to my house. I was down the street literally!!
The gentleman stated over the phone two different estimates $95 then $120 at the least and the driver was dismissive unprofessional who charge 135! The towman (driver) was suppose to follow me and then decided to unfollow me and go a who other different route! Why? I don’t know just to add on more cost which didn’t make any sense at all!! I was driving and got back to my destination less than five to 7mins from my house! Told the driver just follow me back down the road. This was a complete rip off so very disappointed and definitely be careful with doing business with people who likes to get over for a buck!! Money is the root of Evil and they definitely represent that in every word of my statement! I will post a Google review as well! Compete and total rip off for the unprofessional service!!

Ted’s Towing was very professional and quick to assist me when my vehicle was impounded there. Although law enforcement was very rude and disrespectful, They were quick to assist and even offered to assist with checking my battery and other minor mechanical issues once I was able yo retrieve my vehicle. I am glad that my vehicle was towed there and nowhere else because the service may not have not been the same. I will continue to do business with Ted’s Towing and I will also recommend this business to others
Holy s#% these guys are amazing. If they are able to tow this without snapping my already broken wheel then they deserve an award. Props to the driver who took his time in the middle of the road. Appreciate you guys!
I used this towing service last week Monday. They came promptly and the lady on the phone was attentive and helpful. When I went to the mechanic two days later, I almost didn’t even recognize my car. There were two fresh dents on the driver door and right below it. The mechanic said the car arrived like that so I asked this company if anything had happened to to the car. They said no and connected me to the driver. The driver was very unprofessional and rude. He claims nothing happened to the car and asked for pictures. I sent pictures of the dent no rust or anything and he said that a snow plow must’ve came and did the damage. My house is on a hill and my car was in the driveway for several months as it cannot move due to a transmission issue. There is no way that could have happened. When I explained that he was yelling say he didn’t do anything. He did not own liability to damaging my car even though my mechanic inspected the car when it arrived. Even the nice lady on the phone did not offer me help when I said my car was damaged. Please go anywhere but here. They say its soft towing but my car is now damaged.
I was traveling back to N.C. and my car started hesitating. I went to Teds Auto Repair expecting a serious engine issue. It turned out that my ignition wires were bad, The repair was done in a timely manner and the staff was friendly and professional. A lot of times you hear of travelers being over charged or being told that repairs are needed on items that are not needed just to inflate the bill. I am very pleased with the diagnosis and repair done. I recommend this shop as fair and honest.
Truly appreciated driver Eric’s knowledge and courtesy. With his help, I was able to identify the source of my issue and the necessary fix. It was great to come across such friendly customer service—we need more of that in our world!
Tried to set up a pick up time in the morning for the afternoon as I had an appointment at the dealership had to get off from work etc. Was told no problem. I was called about 30 minutes prior to the pick-up time saying the driver would be a little late. 30 minutes later still not here. Called and was told he'd be there shortly. Almost another 20 minutes and he showed up. Driver was great not blaming him but the dispatcher sending him on another run. I know Ted's have a big towing operation but almost an hour late when I called to set up an appointment pickup time. Should of not agreed to the time if they couldn't honor it.
Paid almost 1,400 to get my car fixed and they never fixed it, they kept telling me the car is fixed when clearly wasn’t even drivable. I’m out of a car and 1400, every time I called they would tell me someone will call you back and they never did. They need better customer service as well. Also, Who ever drives their towing truck in the morning, drives through the neighborhood like it’s a race track, very dangerous.
I struggled to find a company that would move my shipping container. Many companies wouldn't even think about it. Ted's was recommended to me and was on site within 4 hours of contacting them. Courteous and professional driver. Almost unbelievably fast customer service and response to emails. Not the cheapest show in town, but maybe the most professional.
