Great little shopping complex tucked away from the hustle and bustle of Rockville. There are so many charming shops and restaurants, plus a new townhouse complex.

Cabin John Village is a charming, revamped destination that perfectly balances convenience with a modern neighborhood vibe. I primarily visit for the reliable Giant Food, but the beautifully landscaped walkways make it easy to linger. While some old favorites like Advance Auto Parts have moved on, the addition of trendy eateries and boutique shops has breathed new life into the center. It remains a fantastic, clean, and accessible one-stop shop for both essential errands and a quick bite in Bethesda.

Very nice, high end shopping plaza with all the best restaurants including Shake Shack, Cava, Pura Vida, Moby Dick, Starbucks and more. Surely something for everyone here!

I usually go to Cabin John for its nice park and programming, especially for the Summer Time music program. I discovered the shopping mall recently. It is a beautiful mall. I like the Artist design and the building uniform colors. I noticed that no business had its branding colors in your face. It's makes the place so calm and welcoming. From the Bank to the food establishment all were dressed in the building colors. I also like the various food places in the Mall. I recommend this mall if you are in the area.

I'm changing my review because they updated the shopping center. My last review had comments on how the shopping center is dated and there's a lot of wasted space. Since that time they have modernize the shopping center an added more stores. This has become a nice shopping center. It looks consistent with the surroundings area now. Great job on the additions.

Parking can be a bit of a challenge but it has great choices for quick bite to eat.

We live in Bethesda and we discovered this area recently. It's amazing!! Many restaurant options, a liquor store, a supermarket and banks.

I was at the orthodontist and I got my braces removed. It hurts but Shin Orthodontist is a really good place. -A ten year old child

Good selection of stores, but parking is so stressful. Definitely would avoid except really early in the morning or late in the evening.

i go to this mall a lot but just because it’s the closest to me there’s literally nothing to do there except mcdonalds -> cvs -> giant maybe dunkin’ donuts, cava (extremely underrated btw), shake shack, and cal tort but yea mostly just food it gets boring after a bit, i still settle but it’s still boring

Too many cars and only two ways out. Drivers wait so long that they then don't let anyone from the parking aisles in. If I hadn't driven I'd rate the place a 5. Great choices.

Parking is abysmal and they recently renovated the storefronts and raised rent for vendors. Several long time vendors, like the Baskin Robbin’s had to move out to cheaper places. Everything is really expensive here.

I have tried twice now to eat at this restaurant. Both times they called the day of the reservation to say that they were having problems with the kitchen, and would not be able to open that evening. Nothing other than an apology for the late notice, leaving us scrambling to find another restaurant at the last minute. For a restaurant that reportedly has Michelin star aspirations, they have a long way to go in the level of customer service. If you make reservations here, I recommend having backup reservations in case they cancel at the last minute.

They keep adding stores but not parking. I left and went someplace else for lunch the other day because I couldn't find parking. There are only four handicapped parking spaces near the mall section of the shopping center. Parking is a lottery. Good luck!

This has been my go-to place for 22 years since it is walking distance, but it has become a nightmare to "navigate" in there. It is beautiful after the renovation and new construction and I like most of the stores/restaurants added recently but I don't know how much thought they gave to new parking needs.

This shopping center has under gone many face-lifts and additions. More places to eat , shop & bank. The parking lot is divided up & crowded but spaces are available. Good, convenient location for the Potomac area.

This used to be a sleepy little almost humble shopping center, but has been renovated and spruced up considerably in recent years. It features a Giant grocery (newly renovated as well), a large CVS, multiple restaurants ranging from fast-casual to full service. There's also a smaller indoor mall with a few locally owned outlets. Now, it feels a bit on the trendy side. Traffic through the variety of parking areas can be a bit challenging. I prefer to park in the back and away from the not-always-optimal drivers, even if it means I'll need to walk a bit. Some of more popular destinations you can check out via their individual reviews: -Giant -CVS -Montgomery Co. liquor store (a new format called Oak Barrel and Vine) -Cava -Sisters Thai -California Tortilla -Starbucks -Capo Deli (new as of this writing) -Playa Bowls -Gregorio's Trattoria -Shake Shack -Chopt salad -Colada Shop (Cuban food)

The entire shopping center is kept in great shape. Lots of really nice stores. The parking lot is small. I mean if you drive a SUV or large vehicle the spaces are tight. People also cause a traffic jam by stopping in front of the Starbucks along the curb to grab their drink.

This is a nice place with a bunch of food opportunities. Unfortunately the new ownership likes to push the mom and pop locations out because they raised the rent too high. Therefore there are a few vacant locations here. The mall especially has vacancy, there is less than half of the mall that has residents, and the main ones are just McDonald's and doctor's offices. The owners of the mall have pushed out at least five different mom and pop shops so if you like to support people that don't like to support small business then this is the place for you.

An up and coming neighborhood center that went from strip to shipping mall over the last few years. A lot of the mom and pop stores have been pushed out in exchange for brands that you'll definitely recognize. But overall has become a more upscale neighborhood shopping center.

The new Cabin John Liquor store is now named Oak Barrel & Vine. Location on the front side of Cabin John directly next to the Starbucks & Giant. This store is fantastic & the future look of ABS county stores. There's a built in tasting room, wine library & plenty of beer, wine & spirits to choose from. Completely outshines the old location that was on the backside of the plaza.

It's convenient for a large residential area and includes a well supplied and well managed grocery and drug store (separately). A great assortment of good restaurants with many cuisines represented, plus Baskin Robbins, Starbucks, and Hair Cuttery. Parking is sometimes but not often.

Shops still open while renovations going on. Saves a lot of time going somewhere to do shopping simply because renovations are taking place. Can't wait to see the changes as this is my favorite shopping area. Almost all shops around have good customer services professionals.

Newly renovated - but parking is still a pain in the rear. Has pretty much anything and everything you might need from a Dunkin Donuts, Grocery Store (Giant), Starbucks, both a Beer Wine and County Liquor Store as well as some great restaurants like the Grilled Oyster Co. Decently busy throughout the day - but pretty good for a quick pit stop.

Starbucks workers aren't too friendly..maybe with the renovation they got better too. The Dunkin Donuts staff is much nicer. Broadway pizza/deli is pretty good. And parking in the front is difficult, spaces are tight!
