I totally trust ATCO to care for my vehicles! Just had a flat and expected to buy a new tire, but they repaired the puncture at a very low cost! They have always been honest and reliable. They deserve your business!
I have no problem paying for quality work. If a repair costs what it costs, that’s fine. I paid over $2,000 for brake and rotor service because my brakes were loudly squealing.
After picking up my vehicle, the noise was still there. I returned the car so the issue could be corrected. It then sat at the shop for over a week. When I picked it up again, the brakes were still screaming — exactly as before.
The explanation I was given was that I “don’t drive the car enough,” that it was “dust buildup,” or possibly “tire shine from car washes.” That explanation does not hold up. The vehicle was washed regularly long before the brake service without any squealing. The noise existed before the repair and remains after paying over $2,000.
What is most concerning is that the vehicle did not appear to have been properly re-inspected. No meaningful corrective work was done. Spraying brake cleaner and offering surface-level explanations is not a repair. The tire pressure sensor issue I specifically asked to be addressed was also not resolved, despite being told it would be.
I have experience working on vehicles and brakes myself. I chose to pay for professional service due to time constraints, not because I lack understanding. Being given explanations that do not align with basic mechanical reasoning feels dismissive and disrespectful.
If a shop cannot resolve an issue, transparency goes a long way. What is unacceptable is charging for major work, allowing a vehicle to sit for over a week, and returning it in the same condition without clear accountability.
Customers deserve honesty, follow-through, and work that reflects the amount paid.

Jimmy and the staff are very personable. They are honest and upfront with costs and repairs needed. They communicate and keep you informed on progress of the repairs. They have serviced all our vehicles for over 20 years. I have referred people to them. It’s hard to find reliable and trustworthy service nowadays. ATCO is definitely one of them. Highly recommend.
Very Professional and knowledgeable shop. there are a lot of shops closer to where I live, but I have never found another shop As good when it comes to tires. I had two other places try and balance the tires on my trailer with not so good results and was recommended to take them here. They were very prompt and when I left the trailer never pulled so smooth.
I can’t say enough good things about Atco. They are honest, trustworthy, and genuinely good people. Every time I bring my car in, I feel completely comfortable and confident that it’s being taken care of the right way. They take the time to explain things clearly, never push unnecessary work, and always stand behind what they do. It’s rare to find a shop you can truly trust — this is one of them. Highly recommend.

I went to ATCO tire for the first time last week, Hoping they would give me an estimate on my 21 year-old RAV4, which needed some serious work. They took me in right away and in 24 hours were able to give me an honest assessment of what it would take to fix the car. Given the car’s age they recommended finding someone who could well together the parts of the exhaust system that were falling apart rather than paying for the whole Kit N Caboodle, which would be very expensive. They didn’t charge me a penny, and I appreciated their service and honesty. I will definitely go back there not just for tires for other repairs as well. Thank you, ATCO!
Having tire issues when on holiday away from home is nerve wracking to say the least. Jim and the guys at ATCO in Laytonsville took all that anxiety away! They found the issues on my tires (3 out of 4 with damage) right away and gave me the best advice one could get. “Please don’t try to drive home on these tires, it is too dangerous”. This group is more focused on finding and fixing the problem than making a buck off of you. I highly recommend them for all auto concerns and I thank them for being decent, concerned individuals. Family and I have been coming here for many years for a variety of services, from the routine maintenance to more extensive repairs. They’ve always been fair, honest and timely. When there is an issue, we always go to ATCO!
My daughter recently got a flat tire and asked me where she should go. I have used ATCO before so I told her to go there. They were able to order the tire she needed and get it on her vehicle in 24hours. They were fantastic as always. I will be using them soon as I need a tire replaced as well.

Set up appointment with ATCO to replace all four shocks with Bilstein 4600s. I had to repeat this request at least 4 times as I was always talking to a different service manager. Makes you wonder if ATCO ever listens to the customer. Job got completed after 1.5 days but the experience was frustrating. Pricing seemed high but maybe that’s the price of doing business. In future I will probably just use ATCO for tires.
Got 4 new truck tires and I called a couple of places and got prices... ATCO tire beat them all by a couple hundred bucks for the same tire and I got them installed the next day. Top notch service and a great price, hard to find these days. I'll be back. Thanks ATCO!

I found lifelong mechanics to work on our cars. Between us, I think we have had almost every service they provide. I find them to be pleasant and helpful. They work hard to find the issue no matter which car it is. I believe ATCO is honest and reputable. I have never left there wondering if there was anything wrong Or unnecessary with the repairs just completed. We will continue to bring our vehicles there for any service.
