Saved Me from a Costly Mistake — Highly Recommend! I live out of state and was considering purchasing a 2021 Ford F-450, so I hired Martin's Auto Tech to perform a pre-sales inspection. Their thorough and honest evaluation uncovered a long list of mechanical and cosmetic issues that the dealership failed to disclose — and ultimately saved me from buying a ticking time bomb. They found replaced front fenders, bumper, and hood with overspray and missed paint areas, missing mud flaps, wheel center caps, and antenna, a broken mirror, and brake pads barely passing at 4/32. Even more concerning were leaking front axle seals, an upper oil pan leak with residue on the lower pan (which requires the engine to be pulled to repair), and two open recalls that hadn’t been addressed. Their attention to detail and clear communication gave me peace of mind and likely saved me thousands in future repairs. If you're buying a vehicle — especially remotely — I highly recommend Martin's Auto Tech . Their integrity and expertise are second to none.

Martin's was able to fix my car in a fast manner, kept me up to date and was very warm. After I had the car for a day or two they followed up with a text to make sure everything was still good.

The best shop I've ever dealt with. Prices so fair I almost feel bad for how little I pay. Shop dogs. Their service writer is a rockstar, and the mechanics are stellar. Brought my car in for a weird noise and they were able to figure out that the place that did my last brake job installed the pads backwards on one side. I had previously brought the car back to the original shop twice and then another shop and neither caught the problem. Ladies, take note: this is a super-friendly shop. I'm by no means an expert but fairly car savvy. Everyone I've dealt with at Martin's has taken me seriously, unlike so many other shops. No need to bring a male friend. They'll give you as much technical detail as you want, and will answer questions if you don't understand something. When I was in for the brake repair, the mechanic literally drew me a diagram to show me what was wrong and was not satisfied until he knew I understood everything. My most recent visit involved a complicated electrical/computer issue. Long story short, they could have done a lot of work and made a lot of money, but decided that I would be better off taking it to the dealership. This decision was 100% based on my best interests, not theirs. The shop dogs like Bocce's brand dog treats. Just sayin'... EDIT AND UPDATE: Martin's continues to be amazing. Jenna very patiently listened to me describe 5 (no joke) different noises my car was making and wrote great notes for the tech, who did a great diagnosis. Everything was explained well as always. I'm pretty sure my car is haunted, so I'll be updating this review again. But Jeff and his crew are the silver lining to my "Fix Or Repair Daily" cloud. They consistently make choices based on my best interest. I won't take my car anywhere else.

Martin's Auto Tech replaced the engine in my 2013 Ram 1500 with a 5.7 Hemi. With the cost of vehicles, especially trucks, I was looking for an alternative to save some money. The staff was great to work with and found a solution that prolonged the life and value of my truck. The Jasper engine replacement came with a great warranty and peace of mind. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for reliable auto repair and maintenance.

I have used Martin's Autotech to work on my VW beetle and our 1991 Chevy S-10 truck for 12 years. I trust them very much and their price is always fair. I lost my transmission in the beetle and love that car so, that Mr. Martin, himself, fixed it for me. The personal attention is amazing! Always pleasant to speak to Jenna and have her explain what is happening to my VW. All the workers are well versed on our car/truck and a joy to speak to. Thank you.

They had forgotten to plug in the O2 sensor back after an alternator repair and had requested we make an additional appointment and refused to correct the sensor there and then. Incomplete car repairs, causing more stress for owners.

Service when you can get in is good. Scheduling is complicated. They must be busy. I tried to schedule a vehicle inspection & they couldn't get to me for another 3 weeks out. I went to another county name brand company & got it the next day.

Outstanding experience! Easily the most effective and efficient auto shop I have ever been to. Just moved to the area, and found a diamond in the rough! Everyone was outstanding and so friendly. They were flexible with timing and had me in and out in no time. I would recommend Martins to literally anyone!

This place provided awesome service, stuck to the timeframe estimate they provided, and the owner followed up after the service to make sure everything went as expected. Bought a used car, and was having vibrations from the tires. They removed wheels balanced then. One they had to take tire off and clean the inside of tire out. All vibrations were fixed! Was told about this place from a friend, and will use them all the time!!!

I’m new to Maryland and have not been impressed with the service overall in any of the retail or service provided businesses . Martin’s auto Tech is an exception . The job they did on my car under difficult circumstances because of the age of the vehicle was exceptional . I will promote your business whenever I can because you are honest reasonable and exceptionally gifted in the business !

I've had my car serviced there three times and they are fast and the prices are reasonable. One time I had to have the belts replaced and two months later a squealing sound started and they fixed it for no charge as the belts just needed to be tightened. A+ will continue to bring my vehicles there for service.

First off we were blown away when we saw the Google reviews/scores. After having used Martin's to repair our AC and alternator we could not agree more with those reviews. They were fast, very easy to work with and their pricing is very fair. I would recommend Martin's to anyone in need of quality car repair.

Great mechanics, changed my fuel pump and got me back on the road again within a day! Very nice and helpful staff as well! Services are pricey but the work they do is top notch! Will definitely go back if I have any other car troubles!!

Honest, thorough, and always friendly. Taken my car here for over a year, Martin's was recommended to me by friends who've been going here for years, I've never been disappointed with their service. They saved me a repair that a dealer said was needed right away but Jeff explained why it wasn't and even took photos of the parts and texted them to me. How's that for service! When my car had serious issues Jeff and took the time to research in detail and explain in depth what the problem was and exactly what steps could be taken to fix. And they're always helpful on the phone to find out status or explain where things are in the process. Recommend them for sure. Plus it's great to sometimes visit the dog in the shop!

Took a used car here for state inspection & an alignment. Easy to obtain a timely appointment & shuttle service was a plus. Courteous staff, explained everything, fair prices, and followed up afterwards to ensure I was satisfied with the work. Check their website for specials/coupons. Awesome, increíble, genial that is awesome 3 times. When I lived in Pa all my life I had a great family mechanic, when I moved to Maryland I was hoping to find the same. And that is where Martin's Auto Tech came in. First time there we had a small leak situation we found and that eventually worked out. The thing with Martin's that I like as I did with my Pa mechanic, if they can spot the problem and it is something minor they will get your car in and on the lift and fix it right away if they can and they usually do that day. Great family business. The best in the area.

I've never been disappointed with the work on my Jeeps. The value of the work, the techs, my satisfaction, they all keep me coming back when my car needs care. My wife doesn't drive, so Jeff and his team work with my schedule to make sure I can drop off and pick up my car, or wait while the work is done, whatever works best for me. I appreciate that kind of neighborly thoughtfulness. There are car care shops much closer to my house, but once you find a home like Martin's Auto Tech, you have no desire to go anywhere else.

I transitioned to getting my vehicle serviced at Martin's Auto Tech in 2015, and I have always received excellent service. The front office staff always provide excellent and professional customer service, and they have always provided further details regarding repairs, should they be necessary.

I’ve been coming here for a couple of years for the big jobs that I don’t have the time/tools to get done. As far as I can tell, they do it all. We’ve had them work on a couple of our vehicles. They have done engines, transmissions, and tires for us and we have been happy with their work. I’ve even had them remove an old bearing and press a new one, that I provided, on an axle I pulled from my jeep, they did it in no time at all. I’ve had them do a couple inspections and they have always been honest and rather inexpensive. Friendly staff who answer all the questions you have, reasonable prices, honest and quality work. Overall, it’s a great place, and it’s where I’ll keep coming back and I’ll always recommend them to friends and family.

Nothing but good experiences here so far! I love this shop because of how honest they are and you probably know that's hard to find now-a-days. I've brought my car in based on what a dealer has said is required, only to find out from Martin's that what the dealer was proposing was just wrong or not required. Nice to have found a place I can trust. Highly recommend if you're looking for honest mechanics, fair prices and good service.

Jeff and the team at Martin's Auto Tech are truly professionals! I've enjoyed the honesty, confidence and quality of work performed by Jeff and team for several years now, when my truck has been in for routine preventive servicing and more so when faced with very complex diagnostics involving the turbo diesel performance. Additionally, Jeff resolved the Ford "Death Wobble" condition with a custom caster alignment modification. This mod has resulted in extremely smooth front-end stability at all speeds despite any road conditions. Martin's is your one stop shop for all your vehicle needs!

I have been having my cars serviced at Martin's for about 4 years. This place is great. They are great diagnosticians and technicians, because they have been getting it right the first time. I have not had to bring the cars back a second time because it was done wrong or misdiagnosed, like the previous places I had been to. One place never bothered to check the Honda bulletins and the other was into changing parts without diagnosing what was wrong (I think the mechanic worked on commission based on the parts he sold!). This is a great place to do business and really, really nice people!
