I used this company last night for a tow through my roadside assistance plan, the driver was friendly & arrived within the hour. He followed my instructions about where the car needed to be parked & the whole process didn’t take more than 20 mins. I spoke to other people at the office trying to reach him & they were friendly as well. Definitely recommend them!

Let me start by stating that towing is a business and there are situations that cause vehicles to be towed, whether they are parked illegally or are in need of tow services due to a vehicle's malfunction. Upon calling Henry's Wrecker Service, I was greeted rather rudely by a young lady who stated that my vehicle was located at the Gaithersburg location. I arrived at the location and the attendant, King was behind the bar-protected/ covered window. He was extremely rude to each of the customers who were in front of me. I greeted him with a smile and hello, he barely spoke and asked me to fill out the Credit Card Agreement. I explained to him that my vehicle was not illegally parked and it shouldn't had been towed, and that grace and empathy should be a human response, given to all. He responded, "I don't have any empathy". There was no more for me to say. I was given the okay to search for my vehicle behind the gate and I noticed, rather quickly that my vehicle was not there. After alerting him of this, he said "oh well". I called the authorities and he then slid a sticky note through the window. The sticky note had the address to the Silver Spring location. There was a 30+ minute distance. The BBB has been contacted and local legislatures, Gaithersburg Mayor, Jud Ashman and Council members will be contacted. There is no way that businesses with such horrible and disrespectful customer service shall be allowed to operate. I will passionately ensure that I receive a refund and that this does not happen to anyone else.

Poor customer service. King answered the phone and left me on hold for 20 minutes before I hung up and called back. Other staff members are also unpleasant and not helpful. They also scratched my car and have yet to fulfill any sort if reimbursement. Very unpleasant to work with.

They stole my car even with permit clearly shown, they also scratched the front end and the girl working at the front seat was extremely rude. They refused to give it back until I pay $170. I will take lawful action against them.

This place has absolutely no clue what customer service really means. I had a family member parked in the same spot early morning I thought by enforcing what they told me would help the issue but when I called to report the vehicle all they said was “ if it is not my private spot it is not my concern because it was during the day” I got my car towed from the same spot during the day, of course it becomes my concern because it seems unfair that other people can park there and not get towed. After being on the phone with one of their representatives you can tell how rude and racist they are towards people. I had to pay $170 for literally just having them taking my car to their Gaithersburg location. They like to humiliate people by doing preferences.

I have worked with Henry’s when it was the tow company for our property and as a homeowner. While the staff are respectful, they are extremely inefficient. I have not had a successful tow when I needed. Always have to deal with their many requirements and lengthy wait. As many properties as they have with their signs, I am often told they only have 1 driver. It completely defeats the purpose for having a tow company. I always have to resort to other confrontational/non-confrontational means to deal with neighborhood parking issues because we can’t rely on Henry’s.

If I could give my first zero star rating I would. BE WARNED. My vehicle returned with significant damage done by a young tow truck driver that’s anything but “reliable, trustworthy, and efficient”. I will be making a claim with USAA so they no longer refer their hard working people to this company. Never again.

I pulled out a Tesla cybertruck from my driveway to side of my house for a towing company to transfer to Chicago. We were waiting for the towing company we hired. The car had to be on the side to be towed. My wife was right next to the car when Henry’s guy came and towed it. The car was temporarily at my place (friend’s vehicle). It was next to my house no more than 20min. The guy was rude and refused to talk to my wife. He literally took towed away the car right in front of her with no communication. This was a terrible experience. She said she had never seen anybody that rude. We had to follow him to the their Gaithersburg address. It took us more than an hour to to get it back. I had to pay full price. Reasonable explanation does not work for this company.

I don’t usually leave reviews, but I feel compelled to after my recent experience. My car was towed, and when I went to pick it up, I had a few questions to understand the process. I’m always respectful, but the woman at the front desk was hostile from the moment I arrived. She yelled at me, refused to answer basic questions, and was very disrespectful. It takes a lot to get me frustrated, but I’ve never encountered such unnecessary aggression and disrespect. I have every right to ask questions about my own vehicle, yet I was met with hostility instead of help. Your business may not prioritize customer service, but I urge you to provide basic training or awareness for your staff. Most of us just want to get our cars back. Being pounced on by a receptionist like that is unacceptable and reflects poorly on your brand.

Terrible service. We had a car that got towed and was trying to ask questions to the lady who answered the phone and she was EXTREMELY rude she got an attitude with us multiple times and then eventually hung up on us for no reason at all. Why be a receptionist if you are going to be this rude. It was incredibly annoying to have to deal with and just unprofessional. Wish I could give them 0 stars. Get a better receptionist.

No real service whatsoever. First, they don’t understand why the car was towed for no permit even though I had one. They asked me to pay it anyway and ask the property cuz they don’t know and ‘management’ is not there. I Asked when management would be there or if there was a number I could call-they said it’s unpredictable and they don’t have any direct contact information for any management. Then after showing them photos of the area where the signage was at and explaining the property and how we’ve been parking there for over a year, all of a sudden there’s a discovery of some permit I was supposed to have. When I asked to see what the permit should be and locations where I shouldn’t park anymore they won’t show me. The clerks will listen but seem like they just want you to pay and leave and could care less unless ‘management’ tells them otherwise.

Having worked in military aviation and with public transportation safety, I am in total disagreement with the use of a wrecker on particularly newer vehicles and 4 wheel from 2015 onward. All information about my vehicle was ambiguous and undocumented. They take calls from residence associations, which is also never unbiased. Passes near windshields interferes with electronics, making vehicles unsafe, which is why they are ignored by the towing companies, even though they can plainly see them with the door open. Overnight towing may be performed using the same methods as a repo job, where the integrity of the vehicle is not a priority.

This towing company towed my car OUT OF MY OWN DRIVEWAY!! Had to pay over $100 to get it back. No knock on the door or anything to alert me of any issues or why they decided to tow my car. I still am unaware as I had no unpaid tickets, violations, or anything! This company is downright awful.

My car was wrongfully towed from my paid reserved parking spot in direct violation of the “tow card” policy that Henry’s Wrecker Service (7861 Beechcraft Ave, Gaithersburg, MD 20879) has with Bell Shady Grove Apartments on Monday, April 14th, 2025. As confirmed by our community manager, vehicles in reserved spaces are not required to display a permit, a policy created specifically in response to Henry’s own program. When I called, I spoke directly with Lisa Crocker, the manager, who was incredibly rude and condescending. I asked if I could be provided a copy of the contract between Henry’s and Bell Shady Grove, and she told me she’d “gladly provide the contract” when I arrived to pick up my vehicle. However, upon arrival that same night, I was informed Lisa had already left and had instructed the employee at the front desk to only print out the first two pages of the contract (a clear act of obstruction and unprofessionalism). To make matters worse, it was pouring rain, and the release form I was told to sign had the wrong vehicle owner information. I pointed it out, but they made no effort to correct it. Not a single person, including Lisa, directly offered me any kind of apology for the inconvenience or for towing my car unlawfully. This experience was completely unprofessional, disrespectful, and unacceptable. I’m leaving this review because I believe if I was treated this way so casually by this company, others likely have been too and it needs to be addressed.

On April 11, 2025 on or about 12 noon I was deployed, my mom was using my car to make sure it doesn’t die while I was away for these long 7 months, as she was parked literally IN FRONT of her house carrying in groceries my car was running and doors opened, the car was towed as she was on her last load. This whole transaction was maybe 4 minutes the car was taken. Being that I am on a 8 hour time difference and the cars in my name she had to reach out to me, when they found out I wasn’t in country and the car wasn’t in her name they made it so difficult for it to be released. The registration was in the car along with insurance, my mom’s wallet , purse and ID. I am DISGUSTED with HENRYs and will be taking a deep dive in the by laws.

This company is allegedly engaged in unlawful towing practices. My vehicle, parked in front of my residence, was towed without a legally sufficient justification. As an attorney, I am prepared to pursue legal action; however, I recommend that others initiate a small claims court case. Go to local magistrate and open a case. The LLC company must be listed as the defendant. Don't fall for the: Oh, someone called us!

Henry's Towing illegally towed my properly registered car directly from my parking lot. They have been impossible to work with on the return of my car after they illegally removed it.

Extremely shady company and horrible to deal with. I was towed in Montgomery village for absolutely no reason. Wasn’t parked on a yellow or red curb, was simply parked along the street in front of a friends house while we were visiting. No signs or ANY indication that we were not allowed to park there. When leaving our friends house, we find that our car had just disappeared. As our friends were driving us out of the neighborhood, we saw ONE sign a mile away (at the exit of the neighborhood) from where we parked indicating that it was a permit zone. When calling the number to find out how to get our car and asking how we were supposed to know we needed a permit, the man on the phone LAUGHED AT US. Horrid customer service and a company that enjoys scamming people for money.

I was upset and annoyed. Two other recommended towing services in Northern VA had faltered. Henry's was professional. The intake agent (Kahlil) was professional and empathetic. The driver (Dave) was great. Patient and thorough.

Super inefficient! The lady kept us waiting forever! Be prepared to spend over 30 min for picking up your car with everything is just ready for them. I don’t see any reason why the process is super slow.

The service was exceptionally fast and easy! My only suggestion is to have bilingual staff, as I noticed some people struggling to communicate. That said, I highly recommend this service—they solve problems quickly and efficiently!

This company operates like a predatory scam rather than a legitimate business. Do yourself a favor: if you ever need towing, look elsewhere. And if your car has been towed by this disaster of a company, I genuinely feel for you. They should be investigated for their shady practices.

Tried to tow me with me inside the back of my out of state vehicle. He slammed his device against my tires with no warning. I woke up and stated that I was inside the back. He demanded $25. I refused. Then he calls the police on me. He was told to un-hitch me and go because it’s ILLEGAL TO TOW WITH A PERSON INSIDE THE VEHICLE. If any damage occurred to my vehicle, you will be notified by an attorney. Knock on the window or door first. Obviously a blackout curtain and bath towel indicate a dweller inside……not to mention a camper van with an out of state plate. Just look at their reviews… It’s obvious that they scam out people.

Although, my car got towed, I'm giving Henry's a good rating because I picked up my car and found it undamaged, and parked in a good spot, distanced from other cars. I've read other reviews about the front desk yelling or providing awful service but she did not give me a hard time and the pick-up process only took about 10 mins. The lot crew was really cordial. The reason my car was towed was because it was parked overnight in a visitor spot without a visitor pass. So lesson learned, make sure you ask homeowners if a pass needs to be put in the car, even if it's parked in a visitor spot or unmarked spot.

Predatory service that towed my car at 9:35pm while I was walking out to place my tag in the car when the time which was told to me by the company was 10:00pm cars will be towed. Then when I called the establishment to confirm where my vehicle was, I kept getting bounced around from Arlington, Virginia, and Silver Spring while the Gaithersburg location couldn’t answer when I arrived. She was watching Netflix within the office. I honestly don’t know why their number was posted within the neighborhood if I call it and I can’t get in touch with anybody at said office And I don’t know why they are hiring people who are watching Netflix on the job and letting random people within the lot/back office with people’s personal vehicles/information. Quite honestly, I don’t know why Montgomery Village employees them to tow vehicles I see broken down cars throughout Montgomery Village that has been sitting there since PreCovid?
