You have to back in off of the road, one truck at a time. Parking on a buzzy street, then try backing into the Customers driveway off of a buzzy street
Call to get prices before you go, then verify the price before unloading when you arrive. The man who sets the prices doesn't always communicate the changes to whoever is doing the unloading and weighing.
Other than that, the employees were friendly and professional.

Total rip of. Told me 35 c per pound for aluminum and I even sent them the material pics but when I got there and unloaded the metal. They only gave me 20c per pound with bogus explanation. Be aware everyone. B
Rip-off! I will never go here again. For ballasts, they only offered 5 cents a pound. The going rate is 20 cents a pound. They didn't sort the copper and only offered 35 cents a pound. Copper goes for at least $1.95 a pound.
When I said something, they said they couldn't change the prices in their computer.
Got everything back and left.
Lesson learned.
This is NOT the Anne Arundel County recycling center / dump. This is a scrap metal (primarily) recycling center - and I'm sure its a perfectly good one. But it is not the general all-purpose place for citizens of the county to deposit their trash. If you're trying to get there, you want Millersville Landfill, 389 Burns Crossing Rd, Severn, MD 21144
Arundel Recycling has been a great scrap find for us in Hanover and when we moved to Glen Burnie MD we continued using Arundel. Our family has taken our household recycling like aluminum cans and parts from our home remodeling projects. I have been pleased with the professional service of the people working the front area as well. They help me to unload so that I can even stop by on the way to work and not have to make a special trip on Saturday. Although I have never recycled solely for the money I have been happy with the prices. I would recommend them to anyone in the area.
