Recently took my van to Hillmuth in Glenwood for service for oil change, air filter, cabin filters, transmission fluid and filter, brake fluid, tire rotation and replacement of wiper blades. Very pleased and will continue to take my van back for any further service. They even took me back home and picked me up, which is a plus.

Excellent service. Great bunch of guys; very nice and welcoming. Mike took the time to sit down with me and walk me through a detailed report (with images) of everything that was inspected as part of the oil change service. Thanks again for your help!

Do not take your vehicle to this shop unless you want to be overcharged. They initially tried to significantly overcharge my husband for a Subaru service. Then today, I requested a Maryland state inspection for a 2019 Volvo small SUV and was quoted $160+. The average inspection cost in Maryland is $60–$120, with larger vehicles and trailers typically around $200. There is absolutely no justification for this pricing. Take your business elsewhere. I highly recommend Town & Country Auto in Dayton or Eldersburg instead.

I needed to refresh the suspension on my truck and wanted to install a leveling setup. I brought Hillmuth the aftermarket parts I wanted installed and they performed the necessary repairs. I received a quote up front before proceeding with the repair. The prices quoted was fair so I went ahead with the service appointment. Their service was better than the dealer - front desk staff was knowledgeable and pleasant, tech did excellent work and left the truck clean, will return for service and repairs in the future.

I had a tire blow out on a Sunday. Towed to the closest auto care. These folks were FANTASTIC! Gave my old truck a complete check up, made great suggestions on additional work but no pressure. Excellent service, even provided a loaner while they had truck. Could not be happier and will be back!

I will be coming back to Hillmuth Auto service. I will be recommending Hillmuth Auto to everyone I know who needs work done on their cars. The employees were polite and friendly. The space for waiting was very comfortable. I made an appointment and was informed it would take 2 hours, they took my car on time and completed the service before the two hour mark. Most importantly, the work performed was top notch quality. Also the employees at this shop are more than capable and qualified to work on EV’s. I couldn’t be more satisfied with the entire experience and I believe they earned a customer for life.

Needed to get a state inspection quickly for my new car. Hillmuth was able to get me in right away and on the same day took care of the few minor issues that popped up! Richard communicated everything with me and it was a very easy process, highly recommend!

I needed some tire work done for three tires. They worked me into their busy schedule and did a great job. They are friendly and helpful and respect their customers.

Yesterday I had an oil leak, I ended up having to take my car here and Michael checked and showed me where my car was leaking oil from a prior vendor. He placed 4 quarts of oil in my Engine to get me home to Baltimore, He did not Have to assist me because they were quite busy. Recently purchased a used truck and have had some untimely issues with it that were difficult to diagnose. Learned of Hillmuth via word of mouth, and so glad I took it to them. They diagnosed the problems and were upfront/honest about everything going on. They fixed the truck and got me back on the road. The best part of all which people don’t give enough credit for, is the loaner cars they have. While not “new” cars, they’re well maintained older vehicles that are reliable and available to customers who don’t have an extra set of wheels to drive. I would have been screwed without Hillmuth, so I sincerely appreciate them.

Tried to charge me twice the cost in parts and twice the labor hours at almost DOUBLE the hourly rate of any other shop in town. Go to Daisy down the street, they're experienced, fair, and incredibly fast.

When my power steering went out on my way home from dropping off my dog for surgery, I needed to get it fixed quickly so I could pick the dog up later in the day. The guys at Hillmuth Glenwood were able to loan me a car while they worked on my car. It gave me great peace of mind to know I had a way to get my dog. And they were able to fix my car on the same day as well.

Amazing customer-centered staff. Found this auto shop randomly on Google as I was having car trouble and they were close by. They not only squeezed my service into their schedule in a timely manner, but offered the help with empathy and a kind smile. Can’t find that kind of service-oriented staff everywhere. This neighborhood is lucky to have them here.

We've been so impressed with the level of service from Hillmuth in Glenwood! Our truck had a vibration that no one could diagnose until Hillmuth figured out the issue, worked with the third party manufacturer to get replacement parts, and then fixed it right. We took our EV there for new tires and it rides so smoothly! They keep delivering great service and I really appreciate the loaner vehicle.

I take my 2009 Mercedes ML350 to Hilmuth in Glenwood for all service needs. The mechanics there do a great job keeping an old car running. The service managers I work with (mostly Mike) are professional and very objective about suggesting preventive maintenance. Very friendly and trustworthy. I would recommend this business to anyone looking for a service center they can trust and rely on over the years

As a first time customer, I scheduled an appointment with Richard. Got an immediate response to drop off the vehicle at my desired time. Dropped truck off to Mike the day before the scheduled appointment. Received an estimate of repairs with an hour. Received a call late in the day the same day of drop off that the repairs were completed. Picked up the truck the next morning, the actual day of the appointment. Mechanic also did a multi point inspection and gave a report of other recommended services that need attention. Will schedule those in the future. As a Veteran they also gave me a Veteran discount. Best service I've ever had from a repair facility. I told Mike the service writer they have a customer for life. THANK YOU!

Mike @Hillmuth Auto Glenwood is so helpful and always honest. they will even come to my home to pick up my car and deliver it after service is complete if I’m unable to get there myself. They always get the job done quickly and their prices seem very fair. I highly recommend this shop!

I can’t say enough good things about our experiences with Hillmuth in Glenwood. We’ve service two cars there in the last three months. The work is thorough and extremely reliable. Their estimation process is just excellent - easy to understand, no high pressure sales tactics. The team has helped me to prioritize “must do” repairs and “can wait” repairs so our visits stay within budget. So, of course we come back to them to complete the work! The team also recently helped our daughter troubleshoot repairs while out of state. We choose to use Hillmuth Auto Care in Glenwood for oil changes, repairs, and tires. They’re very responsive and the work is always first class. We especially appreciate service advisor Scott for his excellent assistance, but everyone there is helpful and customer service oriented. They also have a very comfortable waiting room with complimentary coffee and bottled water. Highly recommend!

Scott and his team took great care of my car when it was making all kinds of noises! They were honest with me and gave me options on solutions based on cost and told me what could wait and what really couldn’t. They provided me with a loaner car which was a huge relief so I could still drive to work and pick up my kids from daycare! The entire process was easy and went smooth. I have been going to Hillmuth for awhile now for my car needs and I have always had a great experience. The communication between all the staff is wonderful and makes me feel like they really care and not out to take my money. It’s also great that they offer a loaner car since I don’t have an extra car at home. That makes waiting for my repairs so easy. How great that Hillmuth in Glenwood could magically fit me in on a Saturday morning!! I would have rather not had to go but following three separate leaks inside my truck I knew I had to take care of this...especially because the last leak had me going out to a half a gallon of water in the foot well. I called hillmuth in Columbia moments before they closed on friday. I was told I could drop my truck off friday night for a Saturday appointment at the Glenwood location. I spoke with Thom, Hillmuth's Glenwood manager. Thom was friendly and courteous. I was apprehensive. I had been through drama trying to find and fix a leak in commercial real estate. Finding leaks can be tricky. Would I encounter the same drama with this truck leak? I hoped not. I am a busy mama with two kids going different directions for camp in the coming week I need a reliable DRY vehicle. Finger crossed and prayers going out that Hillmuth would find and fix the problem. I wasn't disappointed! The friendly Thom called to tell me the problem was found and fixed relatively quickly. I was impressed!! I thought I would be without a vehicle all day. Hillmuth did a GREAT JOB. The truck was fixed!! I hoped for a rainstorm later. . .I was NOT disappointed there was a HUGE rainstorm. My truck stayed nice and dry inside!! Thank you for your hard work hillmuth!!! Too bad the crumbs from my kids didn't magically get cleaned out too. ::wink wink::
