I run an auto repair shop in Baltimore and purchase around 3 engines a month. I have tried using this company multiple times, and every single time has been a nightmare. Most recently, I purchased an engine after clearly telling the owner (the gentleman who runs the place) that I wanted a clean, problem-free engine. He assured me it was in good condition.
When it was delivered, the exhaust manifold studs were broken, the engine mount studs were all bent, and it was secured with only a single used tire. The delivery driver was rude and did not allow us any time to inspect the engine before leaving.
This is completely unacceptable for a business that claims to provide quality used engines. I’m truly disappointed and will never use this company again. If you value your time, money, and reputation with your customers, look elsewhere.

Worst to buy parts from they sell junk to people knowing that the part is not good they will still sell you engine-transmission and other stuff telling you it’s a good part they will make you go install it and find out it’s not good making me to pay double labor to the shop for selling the junk they sold me when you take it back they give you attitude it has happened to me 5 times and my homeboys couple time please don’t waist your time to even call them phone number for parts I’m warning you don’t say nobody tell you they’re the worst non of them parts are ok beware be warned
Will say the part is ready for pickup but it won’t be and they’ll say wait, don’t recommend this place, very expensive and very hard to communicate with,
We had the bad luck of totaling our car on I95 but with the good luck that no-one was hurt AND discovering Calton who took the wreck off our hands at a fair price. If you are selling a car to Calton you will no doubt be dealing with Tracy who was just exceptional in her communication, guidance, and help throughout the process. Tracy felt like a good friend helping us at a time we really needed the help.

Called on a Tuesday for a part. They said they had it.
Called the next day to confirm so I can go and pick it up. Made my way there from Reisterstown to pick it up. Called 25 min enroute so they can have it pulled. Get there and waited 40 min to tell me inventory needed to be updated and that they didn’t have it. Wasted my whole day smh

I needed an engine for my 2005 ford focus. I called Calton and was told they had a few, and was offered a low mileage motor at a price equal to other "pick your parts" yards. I drove in with my core, loaded the used engine and installed it in the car. It runs perfectly and sounds great. while I enjoy a nice walk in the junkyard, this experience exceeded all my expectations. I will be checking with Calton Car & Parts first from now on!

Called over 15 different places before someone directed me here. Talk to I believe Tracy. Hands on one of the nicest people I've ever talked to. They had my part. Had it ready by the time I get there. Not a rip off like a lot of other places. Will definitely be calling here first in the future if I ever need a part.

I was looking for a trunk lid for my old toyota avalon. Talked to steve about the trunk lid he sent me pictures great service and pricing. Never thought they would deliver to me. Calton has been my go to place for all used parts for my business. Avi always comes through with any parts i need. recently i needed a climate control and he was able to get it for me for $100 where others were charging $300. Just being able to call Avi directly saves me a lot of time for my daily business

If you plan to go, let me tell you that you have to go in and say the parts you need and they will bring them for you. You have to go to your car to wait for them to bring you the part. Something that I like is that they bring it out for you. You also have to go with enough time to wait in the car for 1 hour or more, and finally the parts are very expensive, some have the same price as if it were new
Always delivered on time and also if they don’t have your part available, they will find it for you and their prices are great.
I’ve been dealing with them for past seven years, and I haven’t seen anything except honesty.
If the part doesn’t work, they will exchange it or they give you money back and also they open at 7:30 in the morning. That’s the most important point that you can get there and get your stuff and get out.
