I've went here in the past. Lee Banks was always nice but didn't pay much for scrap. I went here last week because it was convenient. It was about 12:10. Lee told me to go in the back room. I went back and said hello to the guy that was back there. He started cursing at me saying that i was interrupting his lunch and now he has to eat a cold lunch. I told him i could leave and come back. He said No! Let's F-ing do it and started picking up aluminum rims that were on the scale and launching them across the shop. I told him to forget it I was leaving. He came over and tried to start unloading my truck. I told him to get his hands off my truck else. Then I went in the office and told Lee Banks he did nothing about it. I have never been treated like this in any establishment. I will never go back there. I just wanted post and let be known the way I was treated. If anyone decides to go here be aware of the crack head in the back. Especially around lunch time.
Lee Banks is a great man, and does a lot for the community. He is known for being fair, and treating people with honesty and respect. Everyone I know that has come to one of his yards always talks about how they feel like they were treated like family. True family owned business where you are treated like family.
Went here to scrap some metal didn’t seem like they wanted to be bothered very rude staff didn’t direct us at they got mad we threw the steel in one pile it was a junkyard with steel all in the pile they just pointed what do you expect there was 2 guys out in the yard we waited for 5min they couldn’t stop their conversation to acknowledge us. So very frustrated we took it upon ourselves to just throw in said pile. I didn’t even deal with anyone else with the other metal we sold I was so mad at these guys. From what I was told they weren’t much different in there. Long story short if you hate your job then change it.
