First this place states they don’t fall under the lemon law, using a credit card is attach with additional extra charges, this deterrent is in the Auction favor, as you will not have the power of your credit card, as to dispute these charges for a piece of junk, it cannot be legal to sell used vehicles with limited resources, this is giving a donation to Auto Auction, as people
Dont work hard for their money, their worked attend the auction pretending to be bid on vehicles to rack up the prices, what a shame also un documented workers are employed at the Auction working for small salaries, their police are engine and transmission, is possible refunded this is not acceptable, people save you money and dont purchase from this Auction of Baltimore, is doing bad things to hard working people, I am going to take them to court knowing they are selling unsafe vehicles to people with young child and family, I am doing a deep investigation into this business and the owner so I can place him in the worst business hall of Fame.
If I could I’d give a 0 star rating!!!!!!! I brought an 08 Honda accord they cleared the codes on the car and by the time I was able to get to see what wrong they said it was too late for them to do anything and when the check engine popped up they said it wasn’t even covered I’ve replaced the 02 sensors, throttle body, mass airflow sensor, power steering pump, power steering lines, the entire a/c unit was trashed, the alternator went out, my seat belt sensor doesn’t work, the abs units trashed , the calipers were completely rusted to hell and back ; every single speaker besides one is blown; and the worse part is the check engine light still comes on my car can’t pass inspection and I’ve sunk so much money into the piece of crap
Okay, so this place has taken a nose dive in the cars they sell over the past couple years. They do not guarantee the engine/transmission only but for 24 hours. Sold me a straight lemon with tranny issues. 24 hours is not enough time for the average buyer to detect tranny/engine issues. No engine light til I got in the road. You are honestly better off on marketplace where you can at least test drive the car.
It's a business, I love this place no hard feelings. Take a mechanic and an obd scanner with you. You cannot test drive the vehicles and once you purchase they will only take the vehicle back if you find an issue with the engine or trans. Keep in mind, whatever you pay for your car it's an additional $500 fee and if you're out of state you will also need $205 for a transport tag.
I purchased a vehicle (2007 ford edge) from here in November 2022, I just moved back home from Florida and needed something quick. I went on a Wednesday not to busy at all came early to check the vehicles and register which was a super easy process. Auction began and every car I was interested in was going above what I wanted to spend, this car (which I didn’t even look at) came up 3rd to last on the line up I took my chances and won ($3,550.00 when it was all said and done) Super convenient that they have a tag and title place a few buildings down (bring your own screws to bolt the tags lol) a week into owning it I had my mechanic come check it out. I knew I needed to get new tires and a battery but also had to replace the axel. I called to notify them of the danger allowing people to drive off the lot with a broken axel and they were concerned and apologized. Here we are August of 2025 the truck has 220,000 miles on it and counting I still drive it occasionally but have financed a new vehicle that I drive daily. I have had no additional issues with the truck other than the Axel and regular maintenance no engine lights and it’s SILENT when running I truly lucked up. This is an auction I was always told getting used cars “you are buying other people’s problems” and for most of the vehicles that is the case here the cars are cheaply priced for a reason they will not be perfect in anyway shape or form and you will more then likely have things you need to fix. What auction whether it’s next business day at 5 or 2 hours offers you a warranty? NONE! And I think that speaks for itself. I read someone’s review that the vehicles bumpers are being held together by drywall screws and chuckled because mine was bought from them with 3 holding the bumper on and guess what those 3 dry wall screws are STILL holding that bumper on If I ever needed a vehicle quickly this is where I would go!
Harm's way. Purchased vehicle that had so many issues that it would have been too costly to repair. Main issue was a fuel leak that two mechanics stated that the car shouldn't have been sold and definitely not driven. Reached out to them to right the wrong. No cooperation. Posted this because I didn't want anyone else to experience be placed in harms way.
Great place. A must have with these type of places is a diagnostic scanner. While you may not pick up every code, you'll stand a better chance than showing up with a mechanic that may not see codes, etc.
Will be coming on Wednesday the 7th, reviews are not looking good so now I’m disappointed because I’m in love with a specific car they have. Will update on my experience afterward.
Update: Came for the first time last Wednesday, left with nothing unfortunately. Don’t come without having a couple grand to spend cause you’ll get outbid easily. They didn’t start the bidding until around 6:45 so that was 15 minutes I could’ve spent looking at cars and they also don’t tell you until bidding that they have to contact the seller or bank and basically ask them “is this price okay?” Might be back in a few months, I don’t know, not a bad place.
Purchased a car from here in mid-February after reading the reviews and I've been satisfied with what I bought despite how ,much work the car's needed. I think what a lot of the negative reviews shows is that many folks didn't research common issues with whatever specific car model they purchased before they showed up to the auction.
In my case, I bought an older Subaru, so I knew leaking head gaskets and cats was something that was going to be necessary just because of the flat engine design and I was correct. My recommendation is for people to browse the website inventory before showing up to the auction just to see what they might be interested in, and then doing research on which models they think they may bid on.
I purchased a vehicle from Auto Auction of Baltimore at the end of January, and it has been nothing but a lemon. The steering column is broken, causing the wheel to lock when trying to park, making it a safety hazard. There is also an exhaust leak in the muffler, and despite replacing the gas cap, the check engine light will not turn off. To make matters worse, the struts are completely worn, making the ride extremely rough.
One of the biggest red flags is that they don’t allow you to drive the vehicle before purchasing. I checked the car at night, but the engine light wasn’t even on at that time, so I had no way of knowing the extent of these issues. When I brought my concerns to them, their response was basically “oh well”—zero accountability or customer service.
If you’re considering buying from here, DON’T! They clearly do not care about the quality of the vehicles they sell or the satisfaction of their customers. Save your money and go somewhere reputable!

AMZING auction great cars and prices the auctioneer dose bid up even if no one bids but that’s because it’s not a no reserve auction so they have a set price and need to get near it to at least make a call to the owner I got a Nissan maxima for 4500 and asking price was 5500 so got a really good deal drove it back 3 hours back and no issues I love my new car thanks a lot

First of all it’s not an auction they trap you in with ghost bidders and once you cross the reserve Priceline they will sell you the car .
I bought a $5250 car and had to pay $500 fee on top of my bid and later figured out that car needs MD inspection and when took for inspection next day car needs more than $5000 of work on timing belt and ABS module replacement and when called back they are not covering me because they said they sold us car As IS .
I’m very disappointed and will speak to my lawyer to get compensated not letting this happen to me just like 1000s of other customers.
Great place super easy and great cars overall super great prices I bought over 15 cars here already only had to get one returned and they sticked to there word and gave me my money back will keep going here only auction in 4 hour radius to give warranty on all cars
Really was a very simple uncomplicated process no rush no deceptive trickery..definitely will buy again here and would recommend this auto buying experience.
Place was nice. People were nice a lot of cars, but make sure you have Person with you that knows cars cause the car that my friend got.She got duped loop.The car car small for repairs.Then what it cost her, so be careful.Be alert, but you can find some good cars at this place.No doubt
I paid my car off in full, got the hard plates, the registration (1 month temp registration) I spent over 5k for everythkng. Well, here it is 3 months later and my engine siezed and I need to spend $16,000 to get a new engine or get another car altogether. It's all as is when buying from here so check over everything or have a mechanic friend come with you to make sure its good.
Well after reading some of the reviews on this page I have to agree with some of the people here. However, I have purchased 5 vehicles from this company and 2 of the 5 were actually good cars that ran well. But the other 3 were really messed up and would've costed more than the price of the car to get repaired so we ate the loss and donated those vehicles to the blind.
Bought our 2007 Cadillac CTS from them. They were straight forward about everything. I didn’t feel like they were trying to sell me a shit car. You get the freedom to walk around the lot without the pressure of a salesman or feeling forced into a long term financial commitment. I have a beautiful car that only needed minor fixes and no high monthly car payment. The ladies in the office were just the sweetest to my whole family. They were so helpful and actually even held the car for me until I could get in the next day. I will definitely be getting all my cars from here. And I tell everyone now to go there. Because what is better then having a reliable car without a crazy high monthly bill to stress over. Love this place.
Brought vehicle three weeks ago, not even full 48 hours later car start jerking check engine light come on take it to shop got two opinions two separate shops, alternator and transmission went out . Needs front axel , AC Compressor, upper and lower arm controls , turpentine belt. Wish I did my research and look at all reviews. Everyone has same issue and not course the most expensive one to fix . The cost of fixing a transmission you better of buying a new car . Do not take the risk
Auction is NOT held in a “climate controlled” environment. They had huge fans blowing super-hot air around. Be advised of all the fees they charge. The buyers fees, on top of the HIGH fees to get a 14-day transport tag. Together the tags and fees were almost $900 on top of the price I bid for the car ($3200). And because I’m from PA, I then had to pay MORE tax and fees three days later, totaling another (almost) $500.
The “engine & transmission guarantee” is only until 5pm the NEXT day. Good luck finding someone to check the car over for you.
Extremely disappointed.

My experience here was terrible! Let's start with the 10-hour-long wait to get the tags and title!
After finally driving off with the car, we stopped at Royal Farms, but the car wouldn't start back up. Finally, got it to start. We take it back the next day, however, they wouldn't look at it because it was a Sunday. Got about a mile away, car stopped on the highway, got a hotshot, got less than a mile and it completely shut off. We were told we were responsible for getting the car back to them, had to be refunded for the car. It was ppl there that next day that brought cars the same day we did that didn't even make it across the street before they shut off. They ask the tow that we paid for to go to the back so they wouldn't be seen by customers. They debated it was the engine, however, had to admit it was!
Fast forward to the tags and title refund, the cars title has issues and the MVA will not release the title, so we can not be refunded for the over $500 cost!
Extremely satisfied with the purchase, process and professional services that Auto Auctions of Baltimore (JoppaTown) provided me.
The ladies there were swift and very helpful in my transaction.

Being able to just walk up and purchase the car you want instead of bidding is awesome! They will also lower the price a bit if you ask. The only complaint is the high fees you pay on top of the cost of the vehicle. My car was $2250, I paid almost $2800 when it was all said and done (no tags or registration included in that price). They have a very nice attendant walking around that they have answering questions and giving whatever history he may have on the vehicle you're browsing. He helped me in making my final decision.
It was cold. There were over 100 cars and trucks to choose from and the staff were very helpful. I would suggest you have a flashlight if you go to the evening auction as you will need the extra light to check your cars. You do need to know the right questions to ask about the vehicles and the process as some information is not volunteered. The staff, however, will answer any questions that you have and I found them to be honest. The bids were reasonable and there were many great deals. I will return as I had a good experience and found a great deal for my friend.

this auction is a pretty good auction, they have very reliable cars, cars in decent-very good shape, you won't find a perfect condition car here but you will find a great steal and deal!!!!!!!!!
the auction guy jacks the price up yes nobody will be raising their hand and he'll say somebody bid lol which is funny but he does that because they are trying to sell the car for a minimum, not necessarily the idea of a "auction" but you still can get a steal if you kelly blue book most of these cars and see for yourself!!!!!!
