I’ve gone to Autowerkes twice in the last year for various work on my VW Tiguan. Not only are they the most reasonably priced in the area, the work is quality and the technicians are very knowledgeable. Every person I’ve encountered there has been friendly and helpful. I have also always been given next day or same day appointments with quick service. I will continue to visit Autowerkes for my VW needs.

Last November when my car got totaled unexpectedly and I was looking for cars to buy to replace it. Mike from Autowerkes showed me a 135i he had. Mind you prior to this I have spent thousands of dollars at Autowerkes and I was a loyal customer for many years. At first I thought I struck gold , this car seemed to be taken care of by a mechanic and a shop I trusted but this could not be further from the truth. Upon not even a day from purchasing the car the transmission started to slip from 5th to 6th gear, when I first brought this issue up to Mike he seemed to note that it was due to the way I drove even though I only owned the car for about a day, he insisted on a 800 dollar service which I declined. I later submitted a complain and the owner said he would help me out. I then took the car back to them and they had the car a couple of days, they allegedly did the service Mike was gonna charge me for. When I came to pick it up they told me the transmission never slipped while they had it, and they tried to tell me that I have to drive it in sport mode for it to not slip. Immediately after driving off the lot it slipped again even in sport mode. I took it to another certified bmw mechanic and they said I was fed a bunch of lies by them . When I told them who sold me the car they were astonished that it was Autowerkes, as apparently they try to keep a pristine reputation. I was told I needed a new transmission after they test drove it and the car now slipped in 5th gear as well with a loud screeching metal to metal sound. For a while the car just sat in the driveway because i couldn’t afford it, and only recently we decided to put a transmission in because it was a shell without one, that costed around $4500. Even after that point the car has been nothing but issues. I’m upset that I was lied to by people that I trusted and had been a loyal customer of. This makes me wonder what else I was ripped off by when I took my car to Autowerkes. Do not trust this shop, don’t trust their mechanics, if you buy a car from them get a pre purchase inspection !!
I love Autowerkes! Everyone there is very friendly and knowledgeable. They also have a quick turn around time for getting work done on your car.I highly recommend purchasing your car from them and taking your car there for maintenance .They are honest, easy to work with, convenient to get to and very friendly. I have nothing but good experiences with them.

We have been going to Autowerkes since the 90’s and will continue to as long as we are driving. We buy our cars here and only use their service technicians. They are beyond top notch and what sets them apart is their amazing customer service. They aren’t satisfied unless you are happy! Truly the best in the business.
I thought things were good here. After spending over 6k an issue that I paid for 2 months ago turned out to be not fixed, which was the drainage problem where water leaks in on the passenger side. I called Mike and he told me to bring my car in, the trust is ruined. Additionally they quoted me 2k to replace my air conditioner and I found that a piece to my air conditioner had been unplugged after they worked on my car. My system was recharged and it only costed almost $200 somewhere else locally that included the diagnostic test fee. Wow. Also my cruise control signal was perfectly fine prior to my car getting worked on. That is broken. What a disappointment.

Great communication and very friendly. Got the job done super quick as well. After spending close to a grand on repairs though, thought they could have at least run my car through the carwash. Would have been that little extra that went a long way.

These guys are straight shooters and know their German cars inside and out. We’ve been going to them for the past 10+ years (already?!?) for our BMW & Mercedes purchases and maintenance - never steered us wrong (sorry for the pun) and pricing in right in line, if not better, with what anyone would expect when owning or repairing cars from ‘the Father Land.’

I have been using Autowerkes for 18 years- it’s a 60 mile drive from home, and it’s worth the trip. I trust them implicitly with my Porsche, and the work is always perfectly executed and the pricing more than fair considering it is for work on a pricey German car. Autowerkes has great customer service! Always polite and informative! Took my car for an oil change and they also looked over all other items … they looked at the cabin air filter and actually told me it looked brand new and didn’t try to sell me anything I didn’t need! Was recommended from another local euro shop in the area. This shop didn’t disappoint. I will say they had my car for about a month but in all fairness it came to them on a tow truck as a no start. Not only did they get my bmw running again but there labor was reasonably priced and I got a bunch of other odds and ends fixed to continue putting the miles on my n54. Mike was my service advisor and was always willing to be straight forward and let me know how it was all going.
2k miles since service and I can’t be happier that I can drive it as my daily again. I will continue to do my services with autowerkes!

I came to AutoWerkes on Saturday to look for a new car not only because of good the reputation, also, my friend Tim works in the auto shop. He and the manager Sergio helped me find exactly what I was looking for at a price I didn’t think was possible!
