I was attempting to sell my old (complete with title) vehicle, and on 3 seperate occasions, the "call center" gave me a quote, and time that the "yard" would be at my home to pick up the car, and close the deal...
Again today, no one called to verify they were coming, and no one came to close out the deal! By far, the most unprofessional experience I've have ever had! To say it's been a frustrating experience would be the understatement of the year!
Worker at the counter had an attitude when trying to sign in and was being difficult. Lot seemed disorganized making it difficult to find vehicles you are looking for despite searching up where they are located in the lot. Would not comeback to this location.
Nice selection. Unfortunately the part I needed wasn't on the car like it was supposed to be. So I paid $3 to walk around the yard for nothing. But that's how things go at a u-pull it yard. No guarantees.
Searching for a specific part and found the vehicle on their site. However, it only shows you pics of the vehicle as it is when it first arrives but doesn’t update after parts have been removed. So after walking through many vehicles I saw the one I needed but it was completely stripped clean! Other than that, the cars are pretty organized.
Scam artist prices are high and they added a guarantee that they said was mandatory and charged me for it but didn’t tell me after the fact and then took a extra 40 out my account worst junk yard ever
It was my first time there. I had a bit of a problem with what I was trying to get but they was very quick or helping me out on solving that problem and getting the part I need. And it was a pretty big location.
Plenty of vehicles to choose from,I've never went and not found what I was looking for.good prices too.getting ready to head down again.my cucaracha needs some parts!
For motors and transmission is good place to get..
But for little part's they a rip off... Better off buying it at ebay for a few bucks more get it brand new...
We brought our beloved car here for her last drive. They handled everything so nicely and professionally. The entire process was relatively quick once you make the appointment.
It ain't crazy Ray's anymore its lqt auto parts pick your own but it is still the same as before..bring your own tools and be careful since cars are held up with wheels welded together to lift cars off ground!!! I ventured out in search of a wheel for my car...4 way lug wrench in hand I combed through the unrecognizable heaps of cars until I found it!!! Good price on a stock wheel and tire with a bit of tread left 16 inch for 43 bux + 2 bucks admission =45 not bad...
Had to take wheel off myself ..six bringing back uphill to window to buy it...grab a wheel Barrow (no charge) n make it easy hauling stuff back uphill to pay..I forgot..ouch!!
All in all same place same junked cars different name that's all...do not think it would be too different since it is a junkyard!!!
Pretty much the same even though taken over by LKQ! Only reason for 4 Stars, not having the car I saw online last week! Otherwise, they still have quite a few other vehicles, lot of older model car's! ( Which I still have) and few newer models!
Seems like the GM section is dwindling down quite a bit!
They do have a lot of imports for parts I saw yesterday!
I was able to find a bolt's I needed for my valve cover, ended breaking about 3 of mine off and had to use a C-clamp to hold it from leaking oil!
Price's are still not bad at all depending on what you need!
I do like their online inventory and parts lookups now! Which I should have used again before I went! But, it worked out for the bolts!!
Bring your tool's bc it's a U- pick it Up - pull it lot! Which I like bc if being a mechanic!!

Went to sell my clunker and was quoted $230 and given quote number...when I arrived they said the quote had mysteriously changed to $160. I was forced to take it because I did not want to drive the clunker back across town...terrible!
Very unprofessional called 8 times for a scheduled pickup of a vehicle tow truck Never showed up, the call center kept saying it was in dispatch it was on the way car Didn’t get towed smh terrible
Ordered from grub hub for the 1st time tonight... Took over an hour food well done and nasty...don't believe their menu does not come like that. Very disappointing
Horrible, horrible, nasty, mean, women at the counter. I'm leaving 2 stars because the rest of the staff was helpful and friendly but the woman at the counter was not helpful and nasty to me for no reason. She charged my husband over $500 for front end parts to our sons car when the price list lumps it all in and I should have paid around $250 after checking the price list after I got home.
A complete unscrupulous company. They verbally quoted me 180.00 to pick up my junked dodge dakota ( the rims alone are worth that but oh well I agreed to it). My wife was there when they came and took advantage of her and gave her 130.00. I drove there after work to clear it up. Jordan Bradshaw who said he was the manager was rude and unprofessional and basically said. Too Bad you're wife agreed to it, its our car now. He was unwilling to even try to cone to an amicable conclusion.
As I was waiting for him I saw signs all over the waiting area that said any diagnostic or testing equipment is not allowed not even a meter. Because they dont want you to be abke to test the part to make sure its good. They want to you buy the part and if its bad...tough luck ....just like he told me.

I'd make it a zero if google had that option. My son visited yesterday to look for some Jeep parts. The counter help couldn't tell him if the the Jeep had the parts he was looking for and that he needed to pay the $4 bucks to get onto the lot and check for himself. The picture of the Jeep on the website showed a complete Jeep pretty much intact. So he pays the $4 to discover that the Jeep is basically picked clean. No refund is provided for coming out empty handed. Pretty low in my book. Won't be back for certain. I strongly would advise against doing business with these guys.
Said they had gas tanks drove 30 mins one way and walked all the way to the back to find out they punch holes in all the tanks to drain them....... then why f&$king said you sell gas tanks??? Big waste of time .go to b&h in elkton instead they're atleast honest with you so you dont make a trip for nothing
Decided to try a used seat belt with extractor to save some $ ... the new part was over $125 even with a friends discount. The used part from Crazy Rays Edgewood was just $39.50. Removal was a bit of a pain in the ass, but well worth the savings. The front counter guy was very polite and professional even though he was alone with 6 people in line wating to sign in / register, this was right at open 9:10am. He gave me 5 or 6 different vehicles and locations so I could begin the hunt. I found the part and made the purchase at the window. Overall other than the slight log jam at registration, the process was quick and painless. Unfortunately once I got home to install the part it was found defective. The tensioner had locked and would not move or reset. When I brought the part back to the counter, the counter guy said "all sales final, nothing he could do" even though the policy clearly says defective parts can be exchanged, not to mention it hadnt even been 24 hours and again I just wanted an exchange, not a refund. I asked for the manager and was introduced to Jordan. He didnt even blink, immediately said no problemo, go get the replacement and meet him at the window. So 30 mins later I had the working part exchanged and was on my way. Just wanted to take the 10 mins to thank Jordan and let everyone know Crazy Rays Edgewood is a great place to save some cash and get treated fairly. Dont hesitate to do your used auto parts deals here, you wont be disappointed.
The best salvage yard experience I've had so far well organized and updated inventory the whole pick your part my garage set up is the best you can see the car before you even get to the yard and the fact that they notify you is the best I just wish they made an actual phone app I'd pay for it. I've shopped at all 5 Maryland locations and love them all I'd rather drive 2 hours from philly to crazy rays then go to my local salvage yard prices are fair and you are guaranteed to find what you are looking for ,I've color matched so many of my customers cars for body parts it's crazy they have so much stuff that the percentage of finding your same color car part if super high I will continue to go there in fact I'm getting ready to take a trip now and will be going to at least 3 of the 5 Maryland locations
Great place, great people, worth the extra 20 min drive. You have Salvage the parts yourself but they tell you exactly where to look for and it's fun to salvage if you know exactly what your looking for.
They were polite and helpful with checking their inventory so I wouldn't have to search for what I was looking for without success. Large inventory of cars. The best location I have been to compared to their other ones.
