ONE STAR TO THREE. Currently at the BMW dealership in Bel Air. Decided to bring my car in for an oil change and rotation and balance. Upon completion, I notice my vehicle now has a lamp malfunction. So, immediately I go back into the dealership and ask for someone to look a my vehicle as, the malfunction was not there when I came in. Tell me why the receptionist, looks me in my face and says, I don’t know what was there or was stored in the system. I don’t think this happened during this visit. So, no I am pissed. First and foremost, I know what work I requested. Get me a mechanic to fix the issue that you all messed up. Especially, when all lights worked and there’s no indication otherwise but now, I have a malfunction. So, I decided to look it up. To my surprise, this can happen after getting a tire rotation which is what I had done. See below…. “Why service could trigger a malfunction Damaged wheel well wiring: Technicians often access components through the front wheel wells to do tire rotations and other work. The wiring for the headlight can be accidentally damaged or a ground wire knocked loose during this process.” Normally, service is great. Today, the receptionist tried to minimize the issue and looked at me as if she could diagnose the problem. At the end of the day, there were no issues when I came in. We all know, dealerships are great at stating all problems to ensure you can pay to get it fixed. Especially, here. Theres no need to feed me BS after a mistake has been made. Fix the problem. I’ll wait. Updated: Mr. Keith fixed the issue. During rotation my light was wiring and its harness(in his words) was knocked loose. The light was about to go (in his words) anyway, so they replaced it for free. Thank you for taking a look at it Kieth and making it right. I am disappointed in the service provided by the receptionist. Putting it on the customer is a nonstarter.

I approached the parts department with a straightforward question, yet no one bothered to come to the counter to assist me. They only stood at the top of the stairs and reluctantly answered my questions. As a 50+ year-old, educated Black executive, I’m no stranger to navigating complex social dynamics—and I do not use the term racism lightly. However, this experience felt like a textbook case of social profiling. It was disappointing, disheartening, and unacceptable. I will not be spending another dollar here.

I had a first class buying experience at Bel Air BMW. The dealership is impeccably managed by Chris Dunkes and for a seamless and efficient sales process, Jason Ruzek and Reina Boucher are an incredible team. I would highly recommend the team at Bel Air BMW, they are incredible to work with!

I found the absolutly perfect X5 for my wife at Bel Air, problem, I'm in MN. The sales manager (Sean), the finance manager (Reina) and the general manager (Chris) made this long distance purchase so easy and worry free. I would no hesitate to do business with Bel Air in the future. Thanks for earning our trust. Shawn and Tracy S

One of the most efficient, low pressure, professional, and yet personal dealerships I’ve experienced - and I’ve bought quite a few cars and worked at a dealership in college! Definitely recommend!

BMW X3M40i - McKenzie is the best. She always gives you the best deal possible, she will give you fair suggestions on service plans or maintenance options but is never pushing to upsell you on things that are not needed. She lets you make the decision on what you want. $119 special for an oil change is a great deal to save time and money after I was going to do it myself. Took 1.5hrs with an appt. I,ve been twice and will definitely be back when needed. They also have a new feature where the technician sends you a video of your car and all maintenance performed. Keep it up! Thanks again!

Tool my BMW in for a recall. I made an appointment and they took me right in. Told me it would be about one hour. Tented me about 50 minutes later and said it was done. The great part was they didn't try to sell me anything. They even washed and vacuumed my car and sent me a video of my vehicle on the lift and the mechanic working on it. Very nice people also.

Had the pleasure of working with Andrew Ramirez, Service Advisor. He listened to my report of a problem and then carefully explained what it might be and asked to take a look at my X5. After doing so, he suggested and appointment and one was provided for the very next morning. When I told him I would have to arrange for a ride after dropping my vehicle off, he offered a courtesy shuttle to get me home and later pick me up when the work was complete. Andrew is an exceptional representative for your company. Total client focus/total client service. To the General Manager, ......... "you have quite the service representative!"

Service was fine once scheduling was worked out. Using the online scheduling tool I booked my appointment time which was confirmed via email. The day of my appointment I received a call stating that all the techs leave at 5:00 so I would have to move my appointment up one hour. They should align the booking system to their tech schedule.

I had a great experience at BMW of Bel Air during my recent service visit. The staff was friendly, professional, and made the process smooth and hassle-free. Highly recommend their service team!

Andrew has been my service representative for few years now & he always keeps me informed on any services that I need or any repairs. My most recent visit was excellent he notified me of what was going on with my vehicle & he ordered the parts and explained in detail what the issue was. Andrew is very knowledgeable and always professional, my experience was second to none, I would recommend BMW of Bel Air for any future services.

Second time using Bel Air BMW for service. First was a $199(!!!) oil change with a bunch of other “recommendations”. This time was a service call that was several hundred more than it should have been. The service advisor was wonderful with her communication and professionalism. It’s unfortunate that she has to talk to customers and feed them the ridiculous prices. Bel Air BMW- Don’t send the canned message to call you. You’ve got my information. EDIT- After leaving this review, I was contacted by the General Manager. He claims he wanted “my opinion” for my negative review. I tried to explain why I think their prices are inflated, and he proceeds to tell me to not come back to their dealership. Not an issue buddy! Just look at your 2.4 stars on Yelp, and other sites. I’m not the issue here. I replied with additional information regarding the incomplete service work that was not performed. My car was towed to York BMW (highly recommend!!!), who identified several errors by Bel Air. They repaired them the same day and we’ve had no issues. Your GM can call me. He called me previously and told me to not come back to the dealership if I was going to leave a negative review.

After being completely frustrated and disappointed leaving another BMW dealership, after having spent over four hours there, I stop in at BMW of Bel Air and left out with a better deal than I had hoped for. The entire sales team, set a standard that I think will be hard to beat. From the moment I walked onto the sales floor to the moment I was handed the keys to my New BMW, the level of respect, stewardship of everyone I encountered throughout the process was unmatched. Thank You BMW of Bel Air for a wonderful car buying experience.

My experience was extremely disappointing. I needed to pick up my car, and they arranged an Uber for me, but gave the driver the wrong address. What should’ve been a 25-minute ride ended up taking almost double the time because of their poor communication. When I finally arrived, I was met with rudeness. I asked for my car, and without a word of courtesy or explanation, they just handed me the keys and said, “It’s outside.” No walk-through, no confirmation, nothing. Their customer service is shockingly unprofessional, and the entire experience felt rushed and careless. I expected a much higher standard, and I don’t recommend going here.

I purchased a preowned vehicle at this dealership back in February of this year. The buying process was smooth and an overall positive experience and the only reason I’m giving them a 2 star rating. However, that’s where the positive experience ends. In April, I began contacting the dealership regarding the title for my vehicle as I hadn’t yet received it. I initially emailed Jason the salesman who handled my purchase but I did not receive a response to that email. I then called and spoke to a sales representative who told me that they would have Jason call me back to discuss my concerns. I never received a callback rather I had to contact the dealership AGAIN. I finally spoke to Jason and was told that he would try to figure out what happened with my title but that I should contact MVA to see if the title may have been sent to the wrong address but that sometimes they are slow and it could take up to 60 days to receive my title. By this time it is May and I reached out to MVA who informed me that the documentation to process the transaction for my title had not been sent to them from the dealership. I then decided to go back to the dealership where I spoke directly to the general manager Christopher. He promptly checked records to see that Jason had reached out to the department responsible for tags/titling by email but had mistakenly told them I’d never received my hard tags. I again informed the GM that I needed my title not hard tags as I was given them after finalizing my purchase. Christopher assured me that he would handle the situation and that I would have my title soon. Fast forward to today. We’re now approaching the middle of July and I STILL have not received the title for my vehicle. MVA once again stated that they haven’t received the paperwork from the dealership to begin processing my transaction for my title. I have emailed and called the GM once again without response. At this point, I will be reaching out to corporate as this is UNACCEPTABLE. I have been more than patient throughout this entire ordeal but this dealership should be ashamed of their lack of customer support and organization. Rayna, the finance manager, was responsible for initiating the paperwork for my title and it seems as if she lacks the capabilities to adequately do her job. I DO NOT recommend this dealership.

UNPROFESSIONAL We have gone to this dealership a combined 4 times. We were trying to decide which ev to purchase. These people will ignore you when you walk through the door. They'll ignore you if you're in their lot. I asked to test drive an i7 and was offered an i4. I'm not buying an i4 and whatever I do buy, it won't be from this dealership. Found another dealership in Delaware with OUTSTANDING customer service. And now that I weed through the reviews, I know that we dodged a bullet.

TLDR version; tried to charge me $20k for a $5k service that I actually didn’t need, then banned me from having my vehicle serviced at this dealership due to a Facebook forum post about how they tried to charge me $20k for the $5k service. Unfortunately I’m writing this review a month after meeting with the GM who was supposed to give me a call when the service manager returned. I never heard from anyone after that. I bought a 2024 BMW M240 from a different dealership, and brought it to BMW Bel Air for a diagnostic after I noticed the intake noise was louder than usual. I paid $200 for the diagnostic in hopes that they would identify a vacuum leak or something of that nature. Instead, 45 mins later I was told that the turbo bearing was loose. Also, they told me the warranty had been voided so I was responsible for the full cost out of pocket. Fine, no warranty no problem. However, I was shocked when I heard this diagnoses - No oil leaking, no smoke, no faults, engine data was fine. I was more than happy to go get other opinions because it simply couldn’t correct. I went to 2 additional shops who did boost leak tests, vacuum leak tests, and smoke tests to verify there was no actual problem with the car - that’s just how it sounded. I spent over $1,000 on different diagnostics just to find out my car is normal because this dealership wanted money out of me. I sat down with the GM and explained what happened. I was unhappy with how unethical, and scammy the situation felt. He let me know that he saw my Facebook post, and that my survey rating really negatively impacted his business and then BANNED ME from having my vehicle serviced there (why would I ever go back to a dealership that tried to scam me for more service?)…. He then told me he understood my concerns, took my name and number down on a piece of paper, and said that he would reach out to me on Monday after he spoke with the service manager. I never heard from the dealership again. I would absolutely NEVER recommend this dealership for anything. I’m not sure how BMW lets this dealership operate in such a shady manner. There are over 50 other comments on my facebook post, many mentioning terrible service experiences with this particular dealer. Just stay away. > this experience comes after purchasing a 2024 M2 from them in late 2024. Not the experience I would ever expect as a returning customer. Would give 0 stars if I could.

Love the new car, frustrated with the process. I’ve been waiting over four months to receive the money for my trade in. I’ve been made to feel like a bother and received only sporadic contact from the salesman about the payment. Buyer beware- you will need to advocate and stay on top of them to ensure you are not taken advantage of. To note- have reached out to GM with no resolution.

When going to pick up our vehicle we waited two hours while the finance manager attempted to sell a car to a woman who didn’t even buy anything, instead she wasted two hours of our time for some paperwork which should have taken 30 minutes. The finance manager also let the sales people working miss out on two sales because she took so long. Poor time management on the FM’s end made the entire establishment look bad and we will not be returning or recommending.

I recently purchased a vehicle from BMW of Fallston and had an outstanding experience from beginning to end. Jason Ruzek was absolutely fantastic to work with — professional, knowledgeable, and incredibly helpful throughout the entire process. He took the time to understand what I was looking for, answered all my questions with patience, and made sure everything went smoothly. Jason made the experience not only stress-free but truly enjoyable. I also want to give a big thank you to the financial manager (I didn’t catch her name, unfortunately) — she was amazing as well. She clearly explained all the financing details, made sure I was comfortable with every step, and helped wrap things up quickly and efficiently. This team goes above and beyond. If you’re looking for a new vehicle , I highly recommend visiting BMW of Fallston and asking for Jason. You’ll be in great hands.

Took over 100 days to register my vehicle as an out of state buyer who paid full sticker price plus shipping costs. Finance dept was rude and dismissive, Reina kept complaining about being at work an hour later than she was supposed to be. Didn’t seem like she wanted me to purchase the car, didn’t offer any warranties or even attempt to get me a better rate. After weeks of complaining to bmw corporate and autonation and having a car with expired tags that I couldn’t drive, the GM agreed to pay for a rental until they registered my car. On top of that, the sales guy Jason missed a golf ball size dent and paint damage on the roof during his videos of the walk through of the car. Ensuring me it had no dings or dents. Would give 1 star, but the GM paid for the rental and the PDR to fix the dent, although I had to go through the hassle and weeks of complaining and watching my new car sit and collect dust as I make payments on it. As well as my insurance company dropping the coverage on the car because the dealership failed to register the car in adequate time. Terrible BMW experience

I took my wife's BMW there for an oil change. Whoever drove the vehicle and damaged my wife's seat cushion. Upon picking up the vehicle, I immediately saw the damage and alerted the service advisor. He came out and looked at the damage, then said that their manager would replace the seat cushion and they would be in touch. They never fixed the damage they caused. The only calls that I received were them attempting to sell me another vehicle. Stay far away from this dealership or any dealership associated with them.

Please beware go to other BMW dealerships that have competent salespeople. This has been a total nightmare since the gentleman that sold me my car left before the entire transaction was complete. I needed another temp tag as I needed to get my car inspected in a different state which does take some time. It was a struggle to get Rayna to issue another temp tag. Her attitude was awful. Just today I received the title not in my name and other paperwork for the car. I guess I have to register it on my own. Every other car I have purchased, the dealership took care of the paperwork as a courtesy. These people are nice until they get your money then attitudes change. Stay away.

I recently purchased a certified pre-owned BMW from this dealership and the entire experience was a nightmare from start to finish. From the moment I decided to buy the car, the process was riddled with delays, poor communication, and frustrating mistakes. After arriving at the time I had scheduled and agreeing to the purchase, I was made to wait around 90 minutes just to start the paperwork. The issues only got worse from there. On the Monday after my Saturday purchase, I noticed an address discrepancy in my paperwork and immediately called the finance representative to correct it. Despite multiple follow-ups, I never received a response from her. I was told by my sales rep not to worry, but weeks later, I received a notice from BMW Financial Services that my first bill had been returned due to the incorrect address. If I hadn’t caught this in time and made an emergency payment, it could have caused serious credit issues. Despite charging nearly $1,000 in processing and registration fees, the dealership made little progress on my registration. I spent hours following up, getting vague assurances but no actual results. It ultimately took an astounding 66 days after purchasing the vehicle to receive my tags—completely unacceptable. Later, I received a letter stating that my vehicle title had been sent to me incorrectly and that I needed to return it immediately—but I had never even received the title in the first place. Adding to the frustration, I was notified by the DMV that my previous vehicle—the one I traded in—still showed as active in my name and was now flagged for an insurance lapse, resulting in potential fines. The dealership had either failed to record the sale properly or didn’t complete the required paperwork, leaving me to fix the issue myself with the DMV and my insurer. This entire process was a mess from start to finish. Buying a premium vehicle such as a BMW should be a smooth, professional experience, but the local 7/11 and Dollar Store are better managed and more professional than this dealership. At least they answer the phone. I would strongly advise anyone considering a purchase here to look elsewhere.

I am forever grateful on how BMW of Bel Air took care of me for a new vehicle. My salesmen Sean went above and beyond to have a vehicle sent from Florida to their dealer in Maryland. I live in New York and never bought a car online but he made it incredibly easy. This dealer ship will treat you like family from the moment your first call happens and even after you purchased the vehicle. I can’t thank enough Sean and Reina for all their amazing help, guidance and making a dream car deal go the smoothest possible. I will never buy another vehicle out of New York again! Thank you so much!

5/5 Stars – I recommend the BMW of Bel Air Service Department/Team. Specifically, I appreciate Daniel and his team for the work they completed. Thank you for doing all of my warranty work and correcting any correlating issue(s) that arose after the repairs on my 2021 BMW x6 M50i. Repaired/Replaced: Dashboard Unit - Peeling/Rippling Fan units - Loose connection and Peeling/Blistering Middle Console - Exposed wiring Rear Passenger Window panel - Damaged internal clips Sunroof - Loud Whistling(Wind)/Leaking Steering wheel Misalignment - Improper SW Alignment A couple photos attached as proof of these repairs. I purchased my CPO’ed 2021 x6 m50i from BMW of Mount Laurel (dealership) back mid last year with the goal of fixing certain issues via my Factory Warranty as suggested by BMW of Mount Laurel. Since I don’t live in NJ I utilized BMW of Bel Air as my primary dealership. Majority of the repairs were fixed through warranty/recall or BMW of Mount Laurel covering, and a couple cosmetic repairs were out-of-pocket. Since my dashboard was already being replaced the Service team was kind enough to allow me to fix cosmetic damaged trims that were not covered on the dashboard. I truly appreciate that and the willingness to work with me to fix these issues promptly. BMW of Bel Air also assisted greatly in communicating with BMW of North America. I haven’t had a great experience with BMW of North America (Warranty facilitator) and 6 months later I still have a case open as my case manager requested I reach out the Attorney General of Maryland. Nonetheless, BMW of Bel Air has worked hard repairing my vehicle. Again, I appreciate the techs and everyone that worked to facilitate the repairs. I know I was probably a headache customer requesting for all these repairs but these issues would be the same reason why any dealership would pay thousands less for my vehicle in the event of a trade-in. So, fixing it within my warranty was a must. Especially, for a vehicle of this price. Kind Regards,

Buyer beware! A week ago at this time I reached out to BMW of Bel Air regarding a used 2014 Audi Q5 TDI that they had listed for sale on auto trader. (VIN WA1CMAFP9EA004216) After going back and fourth with the sales manager ( Christopher dunkes) we agreed on what I felt like was a fair price for the mileage given the “disclosed condition” of the vehicle. I asked that the salesman Juon Canny send me photos of any cosmetic blemishes on the vehicle so that there were no surprises. (Keep in mind I’m from 4 hours away in Pennsylvania near Pittsburgh) The salesman sent me photos of a small curb rash on one of the wheels and two small dents on the hood and assured me the vehicle had no other issues. So believing we had a deal and there were no issues I added the vehicle to my insurance policy because they said they couldn’t sell it to me if not. That was $140 dollars, no problem,. Fast forward to Saturday (4-20-24). I arrived at the dealership at 9:30am at which time I saw the car waiting near the showroom under a shaded canopy. I walked inside to meet the salesman but he was still dealing with another Custer. I was early so no big deal. I was then greeted by Christopher dunkes and he offered to show me the vehicle. Upon walking to the front of the car i noticed the headlights had moisture in them and had completely yellowed. (This was not disclosed with me nor could it be seen in pictures) The manager out of good faith had the body shop buff the lights to no avail. (No big deal wasn’t going to be a deal breaker) Upon the detailer returning with the vehicle is when things got good. He parked the vehicle in the sunlight. Big mistake as the sunlight revealed that the vehicle was covered in hail damage (pictured below). I was furious. Especially when the salesman had the audacity to tell me that what I was seeing wasn’t hail damage and that my father and I were wrong. Roughly 40 quarter sized dents on only the roof and hood area. Hail damage. Period. They offered to take a measly $1,500.00 off the price due to the damage. Mind you that damage would warrant the vehicle being totaled. Needless to say the deal fell through and they couldn’t have cared less. Mind you I drove 4 hours in my diesel pickup, the round trip cost me $200.00 dollars. Not to mention 8 hours of my time. As I got into my truck to leave their store general manager approached my vehicle and assured me that he had no idea that the damage existed, and that they wouldn’t do business like that. But let me propose the question, how is it that not one person from the detail shop to the sales team or even the appraiser who are all car guys at a high end dealership noticed the damage? Give me a break. All in all this experience cost me $340.00 and all they offered me was a bulls*it handshake. No thanks. I really didn’t expect this from an #autonation affiliated dealership.

Thank you BMW of Bel Air and special thank you to my salesman Juon that helped me through the entire process. While we may have hit a bump in the road completing the deal, Juon was sure to communicate each step and was extremely kind and supportive. Now I have my dream car! Thanks again to the team at BMW of Bel Air

Jason Ruzek, our salesman was fantastic! We ordered our custom car and he kept us up to date every step of the way! Everything was smooth with the transaction and paperwork. He was always friendly, helpful and informative. Before we left the dealership,he set up everything for us, from synching my phone with the car, to setting up the specifics that I wanted. Thanks again!!!
