Brookhart towing is great! My car broke down and needed a tow from my house to a mechanics. Brookhart was there within an hour (on a Saturday!). Wayne was professional and helpful and my car was safely received at the mechanics.
Brookhart has been awesome to work with as a business. Dropped them a pin for location pick up and a second one for equipment drop off. All equipment was safely dropped off on the job site in good working order! Will be using their services again!
When they tow something for the police they stole my 4 wheeler jack and didn't care when I call there asked for it back . and asked for it back The was guy was rude and ignorant.. will not . return my 4 wheeler jack .. after watching them did not know how to load a boat up they beat it all up I have everything on video they do not know what they're doing...
Allow me to recount an experience with Brookhart Auto Transport & Towing that raises concerns about their business practices. As an owner of a rental car business, managing a fleet of vehicles, I received notification from the Harford County Sheriff's Department on May 10th, 2024, indicating the possible theft of one of my vehicles. Upon confirming the absence of the vehicle, it became evident that it was indeed ours. We engaged Brookhart Auto Transport & Towing, likely selected through a rotation system, to facilitate the vehicle's retrieval. They promptly informed us of an accruing bill amounting to $18XX, citing the vehicle's inability to be released pending clearance from the sheriff's department. However, they also indicated that charges would escalate daily, despite the vehicle's detainment for investigative purposes. This escalation, in conjunction with inquiries about insurance coverage, particularly full coverage, raised suspicions regarding their billing practices. Asking with the intentions of price gouging. Upon seeking clarification on the bill, discrepancies emerged, notably concerning purported winching services, refuted by law enforcement officials at the scene. This discrepancy implies a lack of transparency in pricing. Furthermore, interactions with the supervisor, Sarah, revealed personal grievances irrelevant to business matters, detracting from the professionalism expected. Sarah also claims they’ll work with us, but fails to give what the “working with us” number is. She claims that the owner decides what that number is. So we request to speak with the owner, and she claims the owner won’t get on a phone call. Expecting someone to ride a hour just for you to give them a “number” that probably won’t be agreed upon is absurd. This episode underscores the detrimental impact of arbitrary charges and inadequate communication on the towing industry's reputation. The reviews posted on their business page reveals this as well.
Took my daughter to a doctor's appointment this morning & found myself a nice shady spot to park while I waited...I'm playing a game on my phone, listening to some good tunes then silence...turn the key...nothing. Thanks Brookhart's Towing for showing up quickly with a jumpstart!! The driver Jason was polite & did the jumpstart in no time! A woman would have been lost without you guys!!
Everything and everybody was top notch professional. Heather was my contact on the phone and she helped answer any and all of my questions. Sarah called me on a follow up on the next business day and was the sweetest nicest girl ever! My driver, Keith, took extreme caution and detail when hoisting my vehicle up the flat bed. As far as having to get a tow for a truck that won't start, this entire company knocked it out of the park! The customer service was great.
I am from out of town and my dad was in the hospital. He needed things out of his truck. The staff at BrookHarts went out of their way to help me and my mom’s tire blew out and they came to save the day. They made this process much easier. When all you want to do is cry they helped make it a little better.

Complete rip off price gougers. Double the price of most other companies in the area. If you want to pay double the price of everyone else for a tow, and pay added fees on top of that, well then Brookharts is your place! But if you want a regular priced tow and not to be ripped off, call another local company that is honest, like Chris’s towing.
I had a very friendly towing truck driver picking up my car early in the morning and that pretty much all I can say with positive reivew.
Cost: it's on high end side. I would have called my insurance and had them picked up my car for free. I wanted to try this but my shop service was lower than the towing. Towing was 350 dollars. Takeaway is call the insurance company first. Usually you don't have to pay anything.
This was the company the police called to tow my vehicle after I got into an accident in Maryland. My only good experience with this company was with the tow truck driver, who made decent time arriving, was friendly, retrieved my car in a speedy manner, and gave me the company’s business card to call them after the insurance claim. Everything after this was a nightmare. I went in five days later to sign the release forms and give the owner photocopies of my license, registration, and insurance, after being told that my car is totaled from the insurance company, Erie. After much time went by, Erie told me that Brookhart’s claimed that I never signed the paperwork, and that storage fees are accumulating! I called Brookhart’s and the receptionist acknowledged that she remembered me, but told me they couldn’t find the documents that I had given them and signed. She sent me an email with the attached documents and requested a photocopy of my license and proof of ownership, and asked me to send this in. She told me that I would not be charged for the storage if she receives this. Supposedly Erie and Brookhart’s were feuding it out behind the scenes, but they wanted to charge $1,220 in storage fees, nearly a month after I was in there and gave them everything they asked for! A prior voicemail I received from Erie told me that Brookhart’s told them that they didn’t lose my paperwork, I simply never signed the documentation. An outright lie. Fortunately for me, Erie told Brookhart’s they would pay them $800, and they accepted it and told them to tell me that I will not be charged anything. Just read all the reviews for this business across various sites; it is clear that the members of this business are incompetent at best, and outright liars and fraudsters at worst. Not to mention that the receptionist was horribly rude to me when I had tried to explain my frustrations in a calm and professional manner. She literally said to me “you sent the documents in the mail, who does that anymore? You’re a young man”, in which case I replied by saying “who loses signed paperwork?”. Then she literally hung up the phone on me. Apparently she wanted my documents scanned over via email, but her email to me never specified that, it simply said to “send” them.
This is a horrible company. I would recommend to the public to stay away from them at all costs. If you’re in an accident in the area, tell the police specifically not to call this company if possible. If you’re stuck with them, be extremely diligent to maintain a trail of proof of every interaction you have with them.
I had car troubles this morning and needed a towing service when my car kept going backwards. I tried to call around and got hung up at one place when I asked if they do repairs. I ended up calling the car dealership service and got led here.
I didn't have much expectations but the guy who came over was friendly and a lot more helpful than the car dealership service. I ended up getting a jumpstart and didn't have to get my car towed.
So for thankful for the help today, really appreciated it. Thank you again.
My experience with this towing company was disappointing. After arriving at my destination, the driver told me that the address I had provided was incorrect and gave me a new address that was completely unrelated to my intended destination. This resulted in a much longer trip and higher fees than I had anticipated. To make matters worse, when I contacted their dispatcher, Mike, he lied to me about the drop location and repeatedly claimed that he had confirmed the location even though I had never mentioned it before. Overall, I feel like I was misled and taken advantage of by this company, and I would not recommend them to anyone
Beware of these scammers. Once your vehicle is on the hook the negotiated price goes up and they refuse to release your car. If you are desperate to use them make sure to have all the arrangements in writing or record all your phone conversations.
Before making deal with them turn on your voice recorder. They did not work professionally, be careful they are scammers, first they say one price and after the end of work another price
The dispatcher was very polite and communicative but the actual driver that showed up was very rude and impatient... I was never towed but the company still tried to charge $500 for coming out...
Very fast and professional service. I got a flat on I-95 in the pouring down rain and they arrived within 40 minutes which was less than the promised time. Towed my vehicle from Harford County to Baltimore County and allowed me to ride as well. Driver was extremely nice and friendly.
We had our drilling rig towed I was super impressed with the perfeshional service I got they knew what they were doing and put my mind at ease definitely will use them in the future
So my friend ended up with a flat. He tried going through his insurance to get a tow, twice and they kept bailing on him! Just to go 6 miles down the road!!
I asked a friend of mine for her towing info (her husbands) and gave me this company, who had my friends car towed to the place in 30 minutes! THRITY!! That’s A M A Z I N G. I was able to take him home and no longer worry about his car.

They picked up my car from an accident front end damage accident scene and damage the rear of the car when it was in their custody. Will not accept responsibility for their actions. Avoid the place!
They helped me in a pinch. Were extremely professional and accommodating. They were referred to me by other towing companies. I was stuck on a Saturday night with the muffler wrapped around a bend axel on a 34 foot RV I was renting.... They towed it within 60 minutes and after approval, actually fixed the damage when all the RV places would have taken weeks.
I called to be towed to Jones Junction by 7 am when the body shop opens because this is the company they recommend only to be told her drivers don't come in until 7 so that is not possible. How is that 24/7 towing???
Worst company I have ever had the displeasure of working with. Beth screamed at me until I had to hang up to get her to stop. Unprofessional and difficult to get questions answered. Couldn't get a word in edgewise. Could not be more unhappy. I hate to even give a 1 star but it won't allow me to give a 0.

I called with a requested tow for my vehicle. Susan said it would be an hour or so - she was right on the money!
