We were visiting the area and had a problem with our car that would have required being towed back to Virginia in order to be serviced by Audi. Even though his schedule was booked for 2 weeks, he helped us on an emergency basis. He ordered the coolant we needed and had our car all fixed up in about 45 minutes. Bobby is extremely knowledgeable and very reasonable. We highly recommend Bobby!

Bobby Lloyd is amazing! We live 2.5 hours away in for a family vacation. The battery light went on Saturday afternoon. We took it to Bobby and we found out it was the alternator. He worked all day on Sunday to put a new one in. I don't know what we would have done without his help! Very friendly and reasonably priced.

On vacation and had unexpected car problems. Bobby was incredibly accommodating with my schedule. He is honest, very personable, and was quick with fixing my issue. Bobby saved my butt! In the dead of winter, my heat went out in my Jeep Wrangler and it started to affect the functionality of the engine. Within a day (despite a mix up from the parts shop) Bobby had me back on the road, with better heat than I had ever had in the vehicle and everything running smoothly. He is beyond knowledgeable on all things mechanical and he is one of the nicest humans I have ever met. Will definitely be going back to see him when I need more work done and have certainly been recommending him to all my friends and coworkers.

The world would be a better place if more people were like Bobby. My vehicle started a strange noise on a Saturday afternoon and I had to leave town the following morning. I cold-called Bobby and he fit me in between jobs and quickly solved the issue. He took care of a complete stranger. Total class act!

You couldn’t ask for a more generous and honest mechanic. We were stranded in deep creek with our Tundra, unable to switch into gear. Bobby spent 30 minutes over the phone talking us through debugging and resolving our issue. Unfortunately we were unable to get our issue resolved over the phone , but we were able to drive to Bobby’s business in 4 wheel low, where he proceeded to spend another hour working on our vehicle outside of his business hours to help us fix our vehicle. I’m just disappointed we don’t live closer so that we could use Bobby as our everyday mechanic. Not only was he knowledgeable of our vehicle and the issue we were encountering but he was ultimately able to fix our problem and we were able to drive home. I can’t speak highly enough of Bobby and can’t thank him enough for his help today.

Bobby is an absolute lifesaver and provided fantastic service! My car started leaking oil the Sunday night before Labor Day when I was supposed to be driving 7+ hrs home to North Carolina the next morning. Bobby fit me in on Labor Day, provided clear information about what he was doing to diagnose the problem, and gave me detailed information about what the issue was + how he fixed it. You get the best from the very best when you bring your vehicle to Bobby Lloyd. My Acura vehicles were well over 200,000 miles and still driving like they were new. I now have a Honda Ridgeline and I would not bring it to anybody else not even to the dealer. Bobby is honest and even routine maintenance gets done with excellence. What an amazing service! I reached out to Mr Bobby Lloyd after having discovered that my radiator hose had broken on my Subaru Outback while visiting the deep creek lake with my family. on the morning of our planned departure from the deep creek lake - On the Memorial Day holiday - he was gracious enough to provide prompt service and lucky for me the part was available! The work was efficient and thorough. Just being at his garage provided a sense of calm and reassurance. Needless to say, I was able to drive my family home safe and sound! Was in Deep Creek for a girls weekend. We needed something fixed on our car. We were so afraid being from out of town that we would be taken advantage of. Bobby was incredibly honest and inexpensive. He was so nice to us. Wish we lived closer, he would be my mechanic, for sure.

My family and I were out of town for the weekend at Deep Creek Lake when suddenly our mini van needed a new battery. It was 3pm on a snowy Saturday and after trying a few places on line we called Mr. Bobby Lloyd Sr. at Lakewiew Auto. He agreed to help us out and and I was in and out of his place in under a half hour. Mr. Lloyd provides an old school level of service which isn't very easy to find these days. Amazing experience! We are in for the weekend and our battery died. We were able to get a jumpstart but I wanted to make sure there were no major issues. I googled and found Bobby. He took my call personally and I drove over right away. At first I wasn’t sure if I had the right place but I drove up the long driveway and this amazing three bay garage was waiting for me. Bobby could not have been any kinder. He ran a bunch of tests, told me everything was ok, and sent me on my way. It was a great experience and I wish there were more mechanics with his knowledge and people skills. Highly recommend!

Bobby was kind enough to find some time in a very busy schedule to diagnose the issue and get me back on the road safely. Could not have been better.

My car made a terrible noise on my way to the lake for a famiky weekend. I found Bobby on a Google search and was so glad I did. He told me to bring it on by. He went for a ride with me and then kept it to look closer. We couldn't repeat the issue which makes diagnosis difficult. But he drove it again and then put it on a lift to check everything underneath. He was so thorough and even offered to talk my mechanic at home if it happened again. He made sure it was safe to drive back home. I could go on and on about how appreciative I am of his knowledge, skill, time, effort, and customer service. He's personable and kind. My family and I were wrapping up our vacation here in Deep Creek when we started to load the car and it was dead! We attempted to jump the car and we were unsuccessful. We called Bobby Lloyd’s, first recommendation from Liberty Mutual. He was happy to stop by to help us. Even on this cold Sunday he was more than happy to help us with our car trouble and our moral. We were close to our check out time and had to be off the property. Working quickly, taking the time to explain what he could do and even protecting our car’s warranty! Bobby has to be the nicest, most honest and helpful mechanic I've met thus far! My experience with him was great! Not only was he able to repair my car on short notice, he didn't charge me an arm and a leg for the work lol I'm so thankful to have found him. Without a doubt Bobby Lloyd is simply the best mechanic I know. Twice I have driven to Deep Creek to have him work on my car. Bobby is great about scheduling appointments and delivering on time - even when the electricity went out he worked on my car with an LED light in the dark-and it was still delivered in the agreed upon time frame of 1.5 days for front and back brakes. I dropped my car off at his shop, he drove me back to my place in Deep Creek, and when the job was done he delivered the car back to me! I can't sing the praises of Bobby enough!

Nothing like a car breaking down on a weekend vacation.... Luckily, Bobby Lloyd's was available on a Sunday. They took the time to support me in my towing efforts; and, then were able to diagnose, fix the issue with my Subaru, and send me on my way within a few hours. Their patience, honesty, and helpfulness are so rare in this industry. We were so lucky to find this family business on our weekend trip to Deep Creek. I only wish that I lived closer to use them for all auto needs in the future!

We were in Deep Creek for a family vacation when coming down the mountain I felt my brakes start to give out. Being almost 4 hours from home, I found Bobby Lloyd the first day of our trip. He had late hours which made in very convenient to drop off. He set an expectation when we dropped off and he followed through. He called with details and even texted which I found great as I wanted to enjoy the trip and not worry about waiting on a call. We picked up our mini van to find all the old parts left out to show exactly what he did and why. What would have ruined a lot of family trips with a car in an unknown body shop, did the opposite with the great care he took of it. Not to mention how spotless his garage was…off the bat you could tell how detail oriented Bobby was and passionate about his work. Thank you for helping us out in a short time period and getting us home safely!!!

If every auto mechanic was as good, sincere, kind and thorough as Bobby, we'd all be so lucky. My son's older Toyota pretty much blew up in Deep Creek, and I googled Bobby's place. What an angel. he helped my son, fixed the car better than it's ever run, walked us through exactly what he did, took copious notes and charged a fair price. I really think a guardian angel was watching over us, and thank you Bobby! You will be happy.

I got to WVU and I had heard good things about the shop so I took my jeep there to get a new exhaust, ball joints, brakes and rotors, and sway bars, the work took much longer than expected. About 4 weeks from the time we dropped the jeep off til we were able to come pick it up. Which was a hassle at school but I understand parts can take longer sometimes. About 6 months after having these parts replaced my brake calipers which were installed here locked up and overheated my brakes causing them to smoke. I quickly brought it to another shop in Virginia and was told that the ball joints, brakes, calipers, and sway bar all could not have been new because there was play in the sway bar and the brakes were already rusted. There was also a crack and leak in the “new” cat converter. This is obviously very dangerous and could have caused a crash. I contacted the shop to ask for the part numbers used on my jeep because I suspected they were repurposed older parts and I was yelled at by Bobby and called a punk for asking for part numbers. If you are looking to get work done at this shop, don’t. Sometimes the price tag is too good to be true. Go to a real mechanic who supplies an invoice with part numbers and doesn’t get parts from a junkyard. EDIT: In response to the owners comments. This jeep has not been driven off-road in over 3 years. It’s a pavement jeep. Bobby has not offered replacements for the parts which have not gone 24,000 or 24 months as promised in his warranty. He never supplied replacement brakes as he stated. Sad that a family friend would put you in danger on the road.I also attached a new picture of my brake line which he tied up with rusted metal. Which sure seems jimmy rigged to me.

Imagine you are on vacation with your family of ten, several hundred miles from home. Then your car breaks down leaving you with no way home and you have to check out of your lodging ASAP. This was my family's story. And Bobby Lloyd's Lakeview Automotive came to our rescue!!! Bobby personally made sure we were taken care of. He diagnosed the problems without delay, got the parts rushed ordered, and repaired our Nissan Van ahead of schedule and for CHEAPER than he quoted us. Bobby went the extra mile and even showed me all of the broken parts he replaced and why it needed to be done. I have NEVER had an automotive technician, let alone the owner of the business, do that for me. Oh, and not to mention, Bobby did other minor repairs without charging us. Our Van runs better than when we drove it off the lot! God bless Bobby, his family, and this entire business!

We discovered Lakeview Automotive when we had an emergency issue with our car. We called Bobby and he told us to come on by and he would take a look. He got us in and out same day and explained in detail what was wrong, the work he did, and provided pictures upon pick up. Easily the best experience we have ever had when it comes to getting automotive work done. We immediately recommended him to our family and friends. We will definitely be going back Bobby for all of our auto motive needs. Side Note: Beautiful property and shop. Clean and organized.
