After a very frustrating and disappointing drive to Pennsylvania on the hunt for a very specific transmission we were able to locate Stokes which was very accommodating and helping us getting the transmission that we were after I am very grateful for the gentleman that I spoke to on the phone he was very helpful and very knowledgeable and was able to assist us in a very timely manner I am forever grateful for your service thank you again would highly recommend to anybody in the southern PA Maryland area
First time coming here. I usually go to Beltway Used Auto but they didn’t have my part. I needed a window regulator for my Optima. The guys in the office were pretty cool and the person who went out to retrieve my part was exceptional at his job. Thank you guys!
No longer a good junkyard, I hate to say this but this place used to be a hidden gem but now they just charge for overpriced nonfunctional parts, spend your money elsewhere stay away
Bad service, go to lkq. I needed a transmission for my uncle's truck and said that they had one, drove a hour away to get it. Had the mechanic put it in and it was bad. Had to take it back out and take it back to them and get another one. Paid the mechanic again to put it back in and it was bad. Asked for My money back and refused. I did this 4 times before I got a good transmission with only 5 days warranty left on it stay away.

Calling ahead is highly recommended as many parts are often times required to be "pulled" from a vehicle on the property or may have to be obtained from a sister site.
Pricing is fair.
This is an auto salvage business . There are no frills,bells or whistles. These men work with their hands and work hard.
Have make,model, year and detailed specs IN HAND when speaking to them for the best possible outcome.
Yesterday I rushed down to Stokes after I got off work. I got there a few minutes before the closed, and I didn’t know that any thing under $100 dollars had to be paid in cash and I didn’t have enough on me. Zach hooked me up and stayed open late while I ran to the closest ATM to get the cash cash, over great experience.
Extremely rude and unprofessional. Their parts are more expensive than brand new parts. Don’t waste your hard earned money on this low grade business with disrespectful employees.
Do not go. Over the phone they will tell you they are selling you grade A painted parts. They are more like grade C.
Also they don’t take card for under $100 new rule I have never seen before.
Brocks is Unprofessional and very rude person don't lose your money and time with this people, I pay a top dollar for an engine he said is tested I had to drive 3 hours to pick it up I took it home find out is filled up with water so they made me to bring it back for replacement which is they want to replace it with another bad one very bad experience don't do business with them.
These guys are stellar.. awesome team that accommodated my needs.
I needed a fuel sending unit for my Jeep. It’s an odd year and the part was discontinued. They didn’t have the part I needed in their yard but they had it shipped out from Baltimore for pickup. Zach went above and beyond to help. The gentleman sent me a photo to confirm. The yard is well stocked too.
Don’t sleep on this yard. They run a tight ship, and they’re all very knowledgeable. You’ll be shocked at what you can find in there.

I called everywhere looking for a used honda 2.7 v6, being from eastern panhandle of west virginia I had wv,va,md and pa to look. Stokes not only had the engine,they had the best price and guaranteed the motor for 30days. Hooked everything up and the engine sounds beautiful,car runs like a new one again. Thankyou so much for being honest and standing by your product.
Very very poor customer service, very rude workers. I towed my sisters car to this establishment, I was not able to get the car off by myself lucky my peoples were there to help me. Still couldnt get it off though. The worker who was driving the tractor came up to us to tell us to move from the spot where we were parked. I asked him to help us pushed the car off the trailer dolly. He responded " I am not going to kill myself to help you" then he was rushing me to move. Had I know that these people didnt care about their business or helping customers I would have never came to this place. To think, given them a good quality used car that the only thing wrong is the transmission that is failed for them to make money off selling my car parts. I would think they would be appreciative and grateful. I will never do business with these people again. I hope this helps other people to be prepare what to expect from this place.
Very poor service!! You would think donating a great used car would be welcomed. Workers at the lot verbatim stated “I don’t want to kill myself to help you” we were trying to unload the vehicle off of our Uhaul dolly and they even rushed us off because we were in “their way”. Very bad experience
Wow! I got the angriest lady I’ve ever dealt with! I was confused by a text message to pick up my car not realizing it was the same service as she had called me earlier to confirm. She went straight into making assumptions about me and threatened to cancel my tow. All she could talk about is me disrespecting her and all I tried to do was I got confused by a text message and was trying to get clarification. She started yelling at me so I hung up on her. I try to be nice but if you’re gonna yell at me because you wanna, I ain’t listening.
POOR, POOR, POOR!!!! DO NOT DEAL WITH THESE LYING THIEVES. THEY SOLD ME A REAR THAT THEY SAID IN THEIR COMPUTER WOULD FIT MY VEHICLE , IT DID NOT AND THEY REFUSED TO MAKE GOOD ON THEIR ERROR AND BLAMED ME. I EVEN OFFERED TO TAKE $100 for a Rear I JUST PAID $265 FOR. THEY KEPT ME ON HOLD FOR OVER A HOUR, THEN SAID THE OWNER IN FLORIDA SAID NO! You have been warned, LEARN FROM MY MISTAKE!! STAY AWAY!!
My cousin is a Judge and Lawyer, I may take further action. DO NOT TRUST STOKES!!!!
