The folks here were friendly, quick and professional. They said it would take an hour to change two tires on my car, but they were done in about half the time. They were also the least expensive place in town. Highly recommend Tire Pros of Frederick!
Tire Pros of Frederick is right PRO's I just purchased my car and was having AC issues I was scheduled a fast service date when I arrived staff was pleasant and friendly. The younger gentleman diagnosed my issues and fixed them fast I was really impressed with his knowledge only being 20yr old. I will be coming back for all my service/tire needs 5 stars for sure!!
Would steer clear of their inspection service. Was given a list of about 10 things my vehicle needed to pass inspection. Took a chance and paid for another inspection elsewhere and passed after 2 repairs. Showed other mechanic the list and was told all those issues were well within range to pass. Trying to gouge someone has cost them a customer for life.
can't even give them one star! if there were negative stars, I would give them a -10 star! They are liars! Unless you see the old part out of your car, don't believe it has been replaced! I bought a car from Hi lo a couple years ago, unfortunately that's the shop that they use first of all. I bought a lemon the whole six months that I had a warranty I did not get to drive the car but maybe two weeks it was in the shop constantly. The day the warranty was up. They refused to even look at the same exact issue. After the six months they blew me off like they've never met me! Now I have a blown engine because of the repairs that were supposed to be done originally! I am a single mother homeless and without a car to get me to work! I don't even blame Hi Lo auto sales because they are sales people. They know nothing about car repairs. I totally blame Tire Pros of Frederick if you ever want to get any car repairs done do not and I repeat do not go there, or Hi Lo because that's who they use to inspect their vehicles!! you love your wife more than you know I've put thousands of dollars into this car and now I'm without a car because of them!!
Called around for pricing and got a quick thorough quote that was very fair. Everyone was very professional and the shop area was well kept and organized. Turnaround time was quicker than expected, all around great experience.

Took our recently purchased used vehicle for concerns we had about the tires. They were all very friendly and quick with getting it checked out. It's well priced, too. This was our first time coming here, but it won't be our last!

Back in August I bought a used car from a dealer in Frederick, Maryland, I noticed that one of the Daytime running lights wasn't working, the dealer uses Tire Pros for service work, I called and was connected with Rico,he set up an appointment to fix the problem. I took the car in , Rico greeted me got my car in the shop and it was determined that a whole new headlight was needed, which had to be ordered. That took a week, the part arrived and Rico called me and set up an appointment to install the new light, unfortunately the wrong part was sent. Rico was very apologetic. Rico went to his manager and got permission to get the new light locally rather than use the first supplier, so there would be less wait time, the new light came and was installed promptly. My car is a 2020 sadan, I was having trouble understanding some of the features on the car. Rico took the time to explain those features and how to use them, that's above and beyond in my opinion. I commend Rico for his outstanding customer service skills, his professional and friendly service. Also Honorable mention to Lynn the receptionist for making me feel welcome while I waited for my car.

My dad has been going to this place for years, so they were the first on my list when my tire blew out on the side of the highway. they put a new tire on in a timely manner and gave me a call right when it was ready. customer service was awesome, and it was also an excellent price. if you ever need anything done to your car, this is the place to go!
I had a really positive experience with Tire Pros of Frederick — they had two tire sizes I required after I had tried two other locations in town who didn’t have any in stock. Then they were prompt with their service (especially as I was just passing through town) and I’ve had no issues driving two states away on them. Great service with a personal touch! They’re also located near a beautiful walk along Carroll Creek if waiting rooms aren’t your thing!
A few years ago, when Tire Pros first opened at their old location on West Patrick Street, I used them for all of my tire mount and balance needs. Fast forward to now and I needed another set of tires mounted and balanced, so I made an appointment. Made the 40-minute commute in to them at the new location only to be told 20 minutes after waiting in the lounge that they could not do my tires because I did not buy them through them. Keep in mind that the last 4-5 vehicles that I took to them at the old location they mounted any tire that I brought to them no questions asked, just like any other shop would. So, in the end I wasted 40 minutes in driving time, gas, and time away from what I could have been doing otherwise. When I was told my tires wouldn't be done by whom I can only assume was the manager he was rude and condescending about it, like I should have known better then to bring my own tires in. Thats what I've always done!! So, I drove all the way back to where I came from and found a great shop to do exactly what I needed super-fast with no questions asked. In today's times these shops like this, which are rare, need to realize that not everyone is going to pay their overinflated prices for tires and the majority of people are going to buy their tires online. The only reason that I can think of for not mounting tires bought from an outside source is for liability issues, which is fine, but that's simply remedied by having the customer sign a waiver. But I guess keeping a regular customer doesn't matter.........oh well
Need 4 new tires, and found Tire Pros on the web, checked out their reviews and their website shows a lot of good reviews so we proceeded to request an online quote from them. We received an Email quoted price and replied back with a request for an appointment to have the 4 new tires installed this week. We didn't receive an Email or phone call appointment confirmation from anyone for two days so we called them to confirm the appointment. They said they couldn't tell us if the tires would be available BUT they said they would check and call back in "15 minutes ". They did go ahead and make the appointment for us for today at 2pm. We never heard back about the tires. So, on Tuesday we called again to confirm that the tires would be available for our appointment, and were told "we don't have them but we can get them because there's a tire place across the street"... again they said they would call me back in 15 minutes but they never did. So today, we go in for the appointment and sure enough, they never ordered the tires we were quoted. So, one star for you guys because we gave you three opportunities to make this sale, but apparently our business wasn't important
enough for you. Terrible experience as a first time customer. I hope this doesn't happen to anyone else. We actually needed 4 new tires, so we went to Tire World and got right in within the hour. Now we have 4 new tires. We won't use your company again.
I can't say enough about Ron, Kathy, and the crew at Tire Pros! I was able to get much needed tires put on, and I couldn't be happier. Took Bo's recommendation on the tires, and they've proven to be the quietest and best riding tires I've owned! Ron and Kathy were quick to catch me up on their progress and any underlying problems that would have to be fixed. So glad to see there are still good people doing great things, and doing them at a reasonable price and time-frame! Will definitely be back next time!
P.s. they also had a rental car waiting for me when I got there! I was able to get all my errands run while the truck was being worked on!
Went here for a state inspection, the price was great! And the friendliness of the staff was beyond my expectations. The owner (I forgot his name) actually came into the waiting area and greeted my daughter and I, wanted to make sure we were happy and comfortable. They were honest and truly cared about the care of my vehicle. They have definitely gained a forever customer in me. And the service was fast!
They are so friendly and helpful! I needed the safety inspection for my truck. They scheduled my appointment the same day I called them. Just by choosing Tire Pros I now have a full year of free roadside assistance for my truck AND it was much cheaper than a lot of the other places in Hagerstown or Frederick. I highly recommend this place!
I recently had tires and brakes installed on my Mercedes SUV and John and Teddy were awesome with unbeatable prices and great customer service! I then took my 2nd car in for a check engine light, and it turned out to be something more complicated from the initial diagnosis. After a little bit of anxiety, John reassured me that he would fix it himself and that his main concern was that I was a happy customer! I can't thank them enough for the great service and getting both of my cars back on the road! I highly recommend Tire Pros of Frederick!
After a long stressful month of losing air in my tires I decided to call this place being all too aware of how complicated it can be when dealing with mechanics/car services. Ted answered the phone and had to be one of the friendliest customer service workers I've ever encountered (on phone and in person) and I went in to get my tire repaired quickly and efficiently. I was shocked at how cheap it was to not only have them order a rim, but to replace my old rickety one. They have a cozy waiting room and got the job done quickly. The staff was very friendly and helpful but I'd say overall Ted's friendly demeanor was the major selling point for me I would highly recommend this place during a car emergency.
I had a great experience at Tire Pros of Frederick replacing rotors and pads on my vehicle. They were able to provide a competitive quote, fit me in for same day service and even offered a shuttle service to and from my home so I didn’t have to wait at the shop. They also have great customer service to top it all off.
Phenomenal, trustworthy, and an amazing bargain! The were able to offer me same day service and replaced all of my tires in a timely manor. I called around to all of the tire sellers in Frederick and they were by far the best price and most helpful. Valerie was exceptionally polite and knowledgeable, answering every single question I threw her way! Tire Pros of Frederick deserves more than 5 stars. I will definitely be returning for all of my auto needs.
$700 tire rotation and oil change. I took the car in for a routine oil change and tire rotation. I was told that the wheel hub assembly had a defect that was noted when the tire was removed. I saw that the bolt had broken. This happens. I was told that there was a defect in the wheel assembly such that a new bolt could not be fitted. I have never heard of that happening. The hole of the bolt is clearly too large. How did it get that way? I had no choice but to pay for installation of a new one.
I had an awesome experience at Tire Pros of Frederick. The staff was great and completed my tire installation quickly and efficiently. Before bringing my car to Tire Pros I was quoted a price of nearly $2,600 for tires, struts and shocks; however, after goint to Tire Pros I was informed that I did not need struts or shocks which saved me almost $1500 dollars. After installing my tires they checked my alignment and everything was fine so I did not have to pay for that service either. By having my tires installed by them I get free tire rotation every 5,000 miles. Tire Pros just got a customer for life!
Tire Pros quoted me a good price several hundred dollars less than other places in town for body work I needed to get my car to pass the MD state inspection. They were honest about my options, quoting me the lower price for non-Toyota parts, but letting me know they could also do the job for more with genuine Toyota parts. The other two places I went to did not bother to offer different options OR explain the difference. I have since brought my new car in for inspection and have been getting my maintenance done here instead of at the Toyota dealership. So far, so good!
Overall the staff is friendly, professional, and efficient and the prices are good.
This place is great! I have been to them twice now. Kyle has always taken care of me and treated me not only like a customer but a friend. The staff consists of professional, friendly people who get the job done in a timely manner at a very fair price. They will let you know exactly what your car needs without trying to sell you a bunch of superfluous stuff. I highly recommend bringing your car to Tire Pros on 40 not just for tires, but for all call needs.
I have just recently took my car to Tire Pros and I am so very glad I did! First, I took my car to them to repair work that was done wrong by another repair place. They did a great job. This last time, my check engine light came on and I took it their to be diagnosed and fixed. Valerie and the techs at Tire Pros were the most professional and talented crew I have had the pleasure of working with. They were honest and let me know that my repair was covered under warranty. I HIGHLY RECOMMEND THIS SHOP TO ALL WHO ARE LOOKING TO BE TREATED FAIRLY! Thank you guys very much!!
These guys are great! I drove over a bolt this morning and called Tire Pros. They told me to bring the car in. Unfortunately my husband was using the car with the spare tire on it and it would not be back in Frederick until the evening. Because they were open so late, I was able to bring in the tire itself. They removed and repaired the tire and then were able to quickly install it back onto the car at 7:30 in the evening. Total cost - $25!!! Our car is back in business. Thanks for the flexibility and great price!
Wonderful group of people! My Subaru needed new tires, and Tire Pros were (by far) the best priced in Frederick. Mark was infinitely patient with me, the service was quick and my car handles like it's brand new. On top of that, I relayed some details about some added maintenance work the last auto shop told me I immediately needed, and Tire Pros confirmed that I had another 20K miles to go before it was warranted. I needed to get my first car inspected on a Saturday. Tire Pros said "bring it in!" I needed some minor brake work done too and they handled it easily! My father and I are extreamly impressed with the fast friendly service. Everyone there was genuinely interested in making sure everything was right with my car and making sure we only fixed what was needed. My bill was fair and very reasonable!
