Pricing is great (until you over fill your dumpster or want an emergency pick up) compared to local competitor's. The team that I have been working with since starting my contract at the beginning of this year has been absolutely phenomenal! I have had the pleasure of working with Leslie Geist who is my Account Exec. and Heather Trail who is my Account Manager. Anytime I have ever written or called either of them they have been extremely prompt in their responses and uber helpful and patient with me. Leslie has even cone to my business just to check in. I highly recommend this company for trash disposal and if you have the pleasure of working with either of these ladies, count your blessing!

Associate Account Manager, Heather Trail, went above and beyond to help our business and make sure we are getting the best rate possible. She could have just said it is what it is but instead she took the time to look into our account and was able to reduce what we are paying. Thank you Heather

As others have mentioned, the AI feature is causing significant frustration for customers. While it's true that a dumpster with two inches of cardboard above the rim may technically be considered above Overage, the margin is so minimal that it's creating unnecessary issues. That said, Heather truly stands out. She is an exceptional customer service representative who consistently goes above and beyond her responsibilities. Her professionalism, empathy, and communication skills make her an absolute pleasure to work with. These are qualities that can't be taught—Heather simply has them, and unfortunately, not everyone at the company does. Kudos to Heather for doing such a fantastic job!

Heather is truly one of the best representatives I’ve had the pleasure of working with. She is not only responsive, knowledgeable, and courteous, but also a genuinely wonderful person to interact with. She takes the time to explain everything clearly, always follows up with calls and emails, and stays on top of every detail. Simply put, she’s a fantastic agent and a true asset to work with.

Well after 18 years using this company. I had to cancel my service. My suggestion is don't use auto pay. As they like to raise their rates $24.00 at a pop. There are plenty of trash providers with better rates that provide the same service. Their customer service is friendly, however waiting to speak to someone for 30 minutes or more is ridiculous. The communication is terrible. Oh by the way they charge $51.00 per container to pick them up. Yeah $102.00 for two containers.. They were delivered free when I signed up. Lol .Do yourself a favor if you have the means drop them off yourself. This what happens when you deal with a large company. They lost touch with their customers.

Heather Trail is excellent excellent at customer service she goes above and beyond to try to help our needs ultimately Republic lost our account because they’ve initiated AI to tell whether a dump dumpster is full or not. The executives in Republic Service needs to reevaluate what’s more important customers always come first! Thank you, Heather for your help. Obviously, this one was beyond your control. God bless.

I have been a customer for quite some time I reached out to Heather Trail for help with my account She responded immediatley and worked dilligently to tailor the service to meet our needs I HIGHLY recommend Republic and especially Heather Trail to any and all!!!! I've been dealing with Republic for a few years now. Always easy to speak with, professional and treat me like an individual. Heather, our rep, always bends over backwards to help us. Whether it's scheduling maintenance on our compactor, correcting our invoice or just returning a call or email, she is a pleasure to deal with and helps me promptly.

I cancelled my service in March, and and was assured that my April 1st auto-payment was cancelled. Then I WAS charged on April 1st. I called on the 3rd and was told that my money would be refunded within 48 hours. The agent was very friendly and apologetic. I called back today - the 10th because STILL no refund. I was not being angry or unfriendly when the call started - but the agent was terrible - kept cutting me off - condescending, felt like she was scolding me. Now she's saying I'll have my refund within 72 hours. TERRIBLE customer service. They also told me my old bins would be picked up last Friday and they didn't come until yesterday. And the reason I cancelled in the first place was because the cost was more than twice as much as I am paying with my new provider. I do not recommend them at all.

The bill continued to climb from 2021 to 2024 up $300 from the 2021 bill... When I called to cancel, they were running a "special"in my area dropping my bill by $400.00. I still canceled and then they charged me $103.21 to pick up and clean their cans.... Disappointed they continued to gouge me... They were still more than the new company with $400 off my yearly bill... Definitely feel ripped off over the years....

Republic service is always great. They always empty our dumpsters on time. Anyone we need to speak with on phone is always helpful and very kind. Their trash removal costs are very reasonable.

I am writing this review for anyone who may be considering Dumpster Service. Republic Service by far beats any other Dumpster Service out there and trust me when I say that we here at Advanced Restoration Solutions have used numerous Dumpster Service Providers. We are a bussiness thats provides Water Damage Mitigation, Fire Clean Up and Mold Remediation, with that being said, having a Dumpster is crucial for our business because we have vans full of trash each and every day. Republic has never failed us, when I get to work at 6:00 am our Dumpster is already empty. Republic has never missed a pick up and sends me a text and an email to let me know that the pick up was done and sucessfull. I also can not speak highly enough about the customer service from Republic from day one. If things remain the same from Republic we will be a customer for life. Take my advice and reach out to Republic if you are in need of any Dumpster Service, you will not be disappointed. Republic Shines when it comes to Customer Service. Thank you Republic Services from all of us here at ARS.

I schedule dumpster service for all of our job sites across the United States and Heather Trail at Republic Services is, by far, the best I have had the pleasure to work with. Her response time is unmatched to any and all requests. She even went as far as to look up and refer me to a different POC when the new service area was out of her territory. She goes above and beyond to accommodate special requests and she is up front and honest which I greatly appreciate. Thank you, Heather, for being professional, positive, funny and a joy to work with!

Used Republic Services for 18 years. Never had a problem, but over the last couple of years the quarterly invoices continued to go up, mostly due to the high “fuel recovery fee.” The last invoice we received worked out to more than $30 per week for one pick-up. I now make the short, weekly drive to the waste transfer station and it rarely costs more than two dollars.

Update: don't believe the response from Republic below. I followed their instructions and they replied with "We’re sorry to hear you’ve had a frustrating experience and we are disappointed that we have lost your business." So much for making it right. 1 Star stands. Good riddance. Original post: Raised my rates 25% with no notification on a previous invoice -- which they then gaslit me about there being one -- then invited me to call sales to haggle over the price (which was more than double a local hauler's quarterly fees for comparable service). They are clearly more interested in profits than providing good value, and will happily crank the screws on their customers without warning until the customers feel the hurt and then tell them come begging for relief. Predatory, and unethical. I cancelled my autopay and my service, and was still charged for that invoice to the old autopay account. I was then told that nothing could be done about it and that I'd be charged $82+unspecified "fees" to haul the bins away. Go with a local business instead of throwing way too much money at a nationwide conglomerate that is predatory and uncaring about their long-term customers.

Raised rates again this time it’s over $113. Called to see what’s going on and if they could keep my service the same price I’d stay. They told me I’m at the lowest amount and that dump fees increased. I’m finding this odd as no other company I’ve talked to or have neighbors using have reported a price increase. I paid 80 dollars to have these cans delivered, carried 2/3 year service, paid on time early and at the end they want to charge me $80 again to pick them up? I’ll never use republic again or recommend them. To add one more thing they gave me a date on picking up the cans and never showed up. No call or email either

I started services 3 years ago. Total cost when I started was about 150 a quarter with fuel charges I was not told about originally. Costs increased slowly and now the most recent bill was 250 for a quarter, which included an increase in service charge for both trash and recycling. I got the same services elsewhere for 77 a quarter total including fuel charges with the same size cans. When I called to cancel I was told that I could drop off my cans for no charge or they could pick them up for an 82 dollar fee! Then they said they didn't have a location that I could drop the cans off at. So it's costing me more money to cancel with them then it would be to pay for an entire quarter service with another company. I'll be reporting to BBB, as this is highway robbery.

I have used Republic for years now and I highly recommend this company. My trash is always picked up on schedule. If their running behind I always get a call letting me know. The drivers even go the extra mile to make sure I get a reminder call if I miss trash pick up. 10/10 for me and I will continue to recommend this company.

My pick up day is Tuesday. They got my recycling and not my trash. So I called and they said they'd send someone within two days. Two days later I called again... And they promised to pick it up. It's now Saturday and no one picked up my trash. If a trash company can't pick up trash reliably then what's the point of paying fees that are higher than the competitors? Look somewhere else for your trash services.

Pathetic at best. Their trash service has been completely negligent of their duties. Numerous missed pick ups and no follow through with their administration. Good Price. Since I have a small commerical place, I dont need auto pick up. So they set it up so I call when I want them to come pick up. And they only bill me for that pick up. No fuel surcharge crap, no monthly fees, no start up costs, and I didn't pay anything for the container itself. Good company.

If you are one of the unlucky victims of having to deal with this company I would recommend running as fast as you can to look for other services. Not only do they change service agreements in the middle of the billing cycle they fail to pick up trash and recycle on a regular basis and fail to follow up. When they do pickup they leave empty cans in the middle of the driveway, in flower beds or worse in the road. Calls to customer service are a waste of time as nothing they promise is ever carried out. The worst part is if they owe you money for any reason they hold it instead of refunding as they promise to do. This is the worse trash removable company by far in the last 30 years that I have had service with. Look at all the BBB complaints!
