Got my cylinder head milled flat here. They also performed pressure tests. Going to test it after putting everything together, but overall, it only took 2 days for everything! (Expected a week)
Update: the engine is working perfectly
They attempted to repair a broken fitting on a hydraulic cylinder. The welded on fitting was 30 degrees off and they took no precautions to protect the inside from getting metal shavings. I had to get them to reweld the fitting straight and clean the cylinder. They never cleaned anything and I had the cylinder split at another shop to find it full of metal shavings which would have done catastrophic damage to the cylinder and the hydraulic system had it been reconnected as it was returned. The manager has little or no control of what's being done to customer's equipment and had no problems covering for their employees' mistakes.
I had a camshaft with1 journal oversized from the manufacturer. Turn 1 journal and polish.
I dropped it off June 20th.
I picked it up July 14th.
They never touched it.
Beware. I dropped off a two-cylinder motorcycle cylinder and pistons for a boring job midsummer. Called twice, each time said they would be starting on it the next week. They finally called me almost 2 months after I dropped it off and said their machinist spun a sleeve in one cylinder and if I could get a new sleeve they could install it and get me on my way for $530! My jaw dropped. I asked about getting it as it is and I was told they had about $100 of time in it. Not wasting any more time on this business. I’m sure they’ve done some good work, but this definitely wasn’t one of those times, unfortunately.
I had a great experience with these guys at this shop. Those guy's did a wonderful job I would recommend them to everyone out there. I took my car rotors in and they get it back to me as quick as possible and it work perfectly on my SUV thank you very much.
