Best store in which to purchase batteries of any shape or kind. If they don't carry it, they will order it for you. Polite, courteous, very helpful staff. They will collect all your old, used batteries, also.
After many attempted rip offs by a couple of dealerships, I called them, told them what I was looking for, they said, "Bring the dead battery b and they'd figure out a replacement. So, I walked in with the dead battery. They took one look at it and pulled a perfect replacement for it in less than a minute. The battery fit and worked perfectly, and with a savings of nearly $500.00, versus the dealerships I attempted to deal with. Battery One, is the place to go for your battery needs. I am a very happy customer.
A few months ago, this battery shop saved the day!
The batteries inside my kid's beloved toy died before our drive back to Baltimore so I sent her in to the shop by herself with a $10 bill to buy a pack of AAs to get the toy functioning again, and the folks working there were extremely kind to her and swapped out the batteries for her - free of charge.
The entire interaction definitely helped her learn that relying on smaller shops in town can be a much better experience than spending money at the cartoonishly huge chain stores that dominate our suburbs.

Horrible, I would not recommend… battery 1 year old and has 30 % charge, not the battery they said, disrespectful and unable to explain the cause… not nice nor do they honor there warranty.. don’t go to them

Stopped by because a friend recommended to me and was thrilled by excellent customer service by highly skilled technicians who tested and diagnosed the battery of my friend's car quickly. He recommended I simply charge it at a very low rate overnight and all would be well. He was correct. Although he did analyze and give instructions on correcting, he would not take payment. I will head back here for my battery needs. I am sold.
If you need to replace your car battery - 100% go to Battery One. Not Walmart. Not the dealership. GO TO BATTERY ONE. The guys in there were so friendly and fun and nice. They knew exactly what battery I needed as soon as I walked in. And they didn’t try to pitch me on the most expensive battery - exact words “I don’t want to spend your money” which is hard to find these days. They told me my two options and explained the difference and let me pick without pressure.
They’ll replace on site too! No extra spending for shop labor costs.

Extremely professional, knowledgeable, and personable. The service was great. The prices very fair. In and out with ease. Needed a new battery per another shop that did not have my size in stock. Friend suggested I try Battery One. They removed and installed the new battery in the time it took me to go inside to pay. Have already told several family members about the quality service. Making me a happy customer and just made this our new shop for family battery needs, tractors, cars, and trucks.

Battery One beats Costco in four ways.
I have bought batteries from Battery One for years. Always happy with results. I am otherwise a loyal and happy customer of Costco for all kinds of things so I decided to make two phone calls. I got a quote from Costco and Battery One for my 2015 Volvo. Battery One quoted 40% less and provided a longer warranty. Battery One replaces battery in car for free. Costco hands you the battery for you to install.
So once again, I went to Battery One and was quickly told if the "Low Battery" message came to the dash, it was most likely the key fob. They checked both and the key fob needed two nickel sized batteries. The main car battery was fine. They replaced the fob batteries for just the cost of the batteries.
If I had gone to Costco, I would have removed the battery from the car to get the core-charge refund and either bought a new unneeded car battery, or had them check it only to reinstalled the same battery back it the Volvo. Hopefully Costco would have figured out that I only need a key fob battery, but based on my phone call to get a quote, I doubt it.
If you need any battery this is your place (exception for laptops- these will have to be special order). They will test and diagnose the condition of your battery in any vehicle or device before selling a replacement. They will also install the battery while you wait (if Too busy and too tired. Hey, don't all of you get in the water at once. The rising level is already an issue along the shore.) with no additional charge. Close to downtown Frederick with free parking.
They have every battery that you can think of. Great customer service too. Easy in and easy out. Just tell, or show, them what you need. They have it all in stock. I never had a problem fing a common, or weird, battery at this place.
Very impressed with the honesty and integrity of this little shop. My truck is 6 years old and with the recent cold temps I was worried that it was finally time for a new battery. I went by last night expecting to have to make a purchase. The gentleman came out and checked my battery and said I was still good to go. They could have easily sold me a new battery even though I didn't actually need it. I will definitely be back when the time is right and will recommend to friends and co-workers. BTW, this is also one of the only places that was willing to do the install of the new battery for me as well. I had called around to check on prices prior to stopping by and Advanced Auto and Auto Zone both told me they would not be able to to the installation of a new battery because of a bracket that would need to be removed. When I called Battery One to get a price they immediately knew about the bracket and told me it would take about 5 extra minutes compared to most vehicles.
I was in desperate need of a hard to find camera battery. One call and the owner said he had one. Sadly, it was defective and he called me back to tell me not to start traveling to his store. BUT....he had another at one of the other stores he owned. I got my battery and was surprised they had already started charging it for me. Amazing customer service.
