Finally a Scrap yard in the DMV I can sincerely say I Trust. I went there for the first time last Saturday. Which is a plus being Open. I was in and out in a Flash. Their prices were so good. I felt like I was Beating them. Very pleasant staff. Couldn’t be more inviting..I’ll never go anywhere else. Well worth the drive from Montgomery co.
This is NOT a typical scrap yard. First class business with amazing customer service. Clean facility with helpful and friendly staff. I only sold them $95 worth of scrap yet I was treated like they appreciated my business. Not to mention they helped educate me on how I can get more for my scrap. Now theirs is no shortage of scrap yards in the area. Some pay a little more for this and a little less for that, but at the end of the day unless you’re hauling tractor trailer loads, it all balances out. It was overall a great experience and I will be back.
This is the only place I've taken my scrap from five yrs. For the first time I was shorted 415 dollars. My receipt given said one amount but when I counted it was short.
I'm very happy with this place, I'm always go there when I have some wiring , the prices are great, and never take any weight from yours wires or anything you selling, I recommend this 100% ...thank you Jim
This place didnt seperate my wire i had 2 diffrent kinds each at a diffrent price so my over all was way less for that amount of 2 diffrent wires i should of walked out with 600$ or more instead of 280$!!!

"Its not that YOU didnt seperate my wires i had them in piles of what was what (insulated one and two ect) and it seems like it was just priced as one type of wire...i am sorry i was not very clear the first time and i hate being ugly so i apologize if i was i let my emotions get the best of me...

This is my second time Bringing scrap to scrap wire and cable. both times the the staff was helpful and vary polite. The prices were good and they don’t try and rip you off like most scrap yards. Keep up the good work guys! I strongly recommend this place
Always a nice experience, easy location to find, quick service, good prices, and free bottled water on a hot day, that was the icing on the cake. 5 out of 5, I will return.
Wasn't very happy with the my price. Called on a Tuesday and got price for pick up on Thursday of 1.96lb. Had 7,741 lbs . I weighed my copper each time and deducted at least 5lbs each time I weighed. Should have had closer to 8000 or more. I don't believe there truck scale was correct . When was it last checked? They also mixed all my al cans,mc,cast and wire and poles together. I have taken scrap many times before but watched the scales. I believe I lost at least 600$ on the deal. I know a lot of other electricians that go there and I will make them aware of this. I did question the price but to no avail. I wonder when weighs and measures checked there scales. This is the first time in forty six years dealing with copper that I was taken advantage of.
