Quick pickup and mechanic came in just to take a look at my work truck on a Saturday. Mechanic was very knowledgeable and professional. Thank you for taking care of me gentlemen. I could not recommend them higher for their care of customers.

Had some issues on a tanker. Turned out to be user error. The tech came out and on the road in a few mins. They were supper kind and helpful.

These people take forever they have already updated twice and I’m still waiting on them, horrible service! Please do not choose this service. My car wouldn’t crank and my Im still waiting. After they change the time twice I’ve called them and they added 45 mins. The lady seemed very rude. this is ridiculous! Don’t choose Vinnys!

I was running errands after work last Friday and found myself somehow locked out of my car with my purse inside! My purse of course contained my AAA card and spare key. I tried to go next door to my regular mechanic and they were randomly closed for no reason! I called the next closest place and they said they didn’t have time to drive across the street but gave me the number for Vinny’s towing. They immediately dispatched someone and said they’d arrive in 20 minutes. I received a call from Chris, the driver, only moments later and he told me he’d be there in 11 minutes but he was there even sooner than that. I was hot and tired after a long day at work and full blown freaking out and I could not possibly be more grateful to Chris and his car-breaking-into abilities. Of course nothing is free but I was surprised it was only $140 and not way more.

When our excursion wouldn't start we got Vinny's for our jump/tow through our insurance. Not only did our driver Harvey arrive very quickly, he was able to advise us on why it wasn't starting. Would absolutely use their services again if we need them in Frederick county.

Me and my wife got in a pretty bad wreck on I-270 and Vinny’s showed up and towed my truck away. I contacted them that night to let them know we were still at the hospital and the lady I talked to was very nice! She told me my truck was behind a locked gate with security cameras. It made me feel a little better. We showed up to the tow yard the next morning to sign the release papers and get a few things out of the truck. Everyone we talked to was very nice and helpful! Will definitely recommend them in the future!

Don’t go there don’t call them This place is a scam they overcharged my driver all they care is about money not providing service for drivers. Don’t waste your money

Vinny's was awesome, we had a company vehicle (bucket truck) stuck in the back woods along the power lines and they were upfront and honest about time frame (as it had been a heavy rain) and very fair with their pricing. We don't often work in Maryland but if and when we do and get stuck, I'm calling them! Awesome customer service

I’ve heard many bad things about this company but thought to give it a try when my car recently broke down in MD, but the owner was so unprofessional I had to hang up and find elsewhere. If you don’t believe me, his replies to the bad reviews on here proves that Lol! Funny how he finds a way to blame all the bad things people are saying on everyone but his own self and unprofessionalism

I broke down on a Saturday evening in Frederick. I called three other places. Each told me they had no availability. I called Vinny's and a driver was there in 30 minutes. Within 15 minutes, my pickup, and my dog and I were heading to my house. The cost was reasonable. Nice experience.

I'd give them 0 stars if I could. I didn't have much of a choice when it came to going to Vinny's. My car was towed there. The next day, I called them to find out how much it was going to cost to get my car out. They quoted, both verbally and in writing, that it would cost $475 to get my car out as long as I did it before the next day at 5 pm. I then received a call from them informing me that I had been misquoted and demanding $50 more. No reason was given, they just needed more money to be able to release my car. I guess it is nice to take advantage of people whose hands are tied. I must say I didn't much appreciate their "kick you when you're down" style of business and I don't believe you will either. It is highly unprofessional to misquote fees for services rendered. I can only hope they have a great time with the extra money they shook out of me.

My insurance company contacted Vinny’s towing to tow my car to my home. I didn’t get a chance to get his name as it was raining but the driver was awesome! He was very nice and professional. I would definitely use them again. Thank you!

5 out of 5 starts hugely recommend. Please recognize HARVEY for his amazing service yesterday. I had the worst nightmare anyone wants with a tire shredding on the middle of the highway while hauling a horse trailer. The way the tire crushed under the truck we could not ourselves get the Jack in the right place and needed power tools for the lug nuts to remove. We called over 3 different towing places and Vinny’s was the only one that was willing to come out and help. Harvey was professional, with a “can do” attitude and clearly knew what he was doing. The attendant on the phone who sent him was also professional, pleasant, and genuinely wanted to help. They were recommended to me by Zach’s auto clinic whom I also trust greatly so it was a no brainer to get these guys out. I was impressed with how fast someone was able to get to me (less than 30min! At 7 am!!) and again with Harvey. Please make sure he is recognized. Highly recommend

Vinny;s did what they were supposed to do. Funny that is so unusual these days. Had a terrible experience with another company that called to tsay they had picked up my car. 6 hours later - no car. Frantically calling around, Vinny's gave a price - which included extra mileage. I was no where near the car, they allowed me to pay online. As soon as payment went thru the guy was on the road. My car was delivered within 30 minutes. Very impressed with operation and efficiency.

Absolutely thrilled with their customer service, professionalism and follow up skills. I broke down 9" from my driveway while turning in... I was blocking the entire street trying to figure out the problem. I used Roadside assistance and was allocated Vinny's T&R with Robb as my assistance provider. Robb's customer service and professionalism where next to none. Funny thing is, I fixed the problem, I managed to kick the main power supply to my truck appart under my dash getting out to move the trash can in my driveway. I called Robb back and let him I would no longer be needing his services. I was expecting Robb to be angry since he had been dispatched and was 10 min away from rescuing me. He was not! He was happy I was safe and that I fixed my vehicle and asked me to call them if I needed them anytime. He really suprised me! Thanks Robb and Vinny's Towing and Recovery you guys are awesome!

These guys were absolute live savers for me and my family! We were stranded on Hwy70 near mile marker 50 in Maryland at 1:30am and our insurance company called them to help us. They had an extended cab so my 5 year old and 8 year old my husband and myself could ride to the tire place to get a new tire. Jr. was super helpful and friendly! Even though it was super late at night he genuinely cared about us and wanted to see us safe! He went the extra mile and then some for our family! You guys are true angles on the highway!

Nothing like starting your day with a dead battery! I called my insurance for to use roadside assistance. I received a text saying Vinny's would be there in 30 minutes. Charlie was at my door in less than 20 minutes! He charged my battery and had me on the way to my meeting in less than 10 minutes. While he was charging my battery, he and I had a great conversation regarding a minor detail on my car that he was observant enough to pick up on. Would be more than glad to do business with Vinny's again.

I needed a jump start for my car and dealing with the office staff and the gentleman that started my car was just an excellent experience for me. I have dealt with many companies over the years and Vinny’s is the best. Thank you for being timely and such a great help on a very cold morning.

Rude management and unprofessional! Never quoted a 47 mile towing job prior to towing. Cursed at me, yelled at me and even threatened me! I have never had a worse employer and management to deal with then these people. To even say they were on time is a joke as they lies about how long the 47 mile tow took! Do not ask for their help ever and if they arrive on a scene of an accident of yours refuse their service as they cheat prices and are rude and could damage your vehicle more!

We broke down on 70 and they was called and was there 15 -20 min tow the truck and fit it and was very nice the whole time

This is the worse experience in my entire life in reference of customer service. It sounds cliché, but defenetly this place doesn't deserve any stars. It is a warning for everyone, who is planning to use their service. Vinny's company was sent to tow my car by a local Toyota dealership. The tow track came in and the driver from Vinny's; Stephen, approached me. He looked friendly, but had no facial cover in the middle of a pandemic. I passed my key and signing paper for the service/towing to Toyota Darcars. After the driver started towing my car, within a second I heard a loud scrapping noise. The driver got off the track and apologized to me for scrapping the front bumper. Looked at the bumper, and noticed that it was damaged; the bumper had a big deep line on it. Stephen apologized again and told me that he called his manager and he is going to come with special equipment. I was speechless and confused. I dialed the towing service company and wanted to talk to supervisor, but was put on hold. At the same time I noticed the tow truck driver was talking on the phone. It was obvious he was talking to the person in charge. As soon as the manager picked up the phone again, he didn't even bother listening to what I wanted to say. He just started shouting that the guy Stephen has over 30 years of experience. I made an effort to say that his experience is irrelevant, because my car is still damaged, but the manager hung up. The driver approoched me apologized and told me that his boss is on his way. Within 10 minutes, a pick up truck parked next to me. A guy over 6 feet and close to 300 lb, started walking towards me, but not saying a word of acknowledgment, I askedhim who he was. He didn't respond. He barely looked under the bumper and started shouting that it didn't happen. I was trying to ask him how he would know when he wasn't there at the time of the incident. He was continued to shout angrily and that I am not professional tow trucker. I asked him to keep the conversation civil. That made him even more angrier. Finally I got the chance to ask him why his driver apologized to me. I attempted to involve Stephen in the conversation, but the manager started litterely running towards him, and commanding him to leave. Then he told me that he will not tow my car. This outcome was obvious from the very begining because he didn't bring the special equipment that Stephen said he would?! Then he started to tell me he has pictures, which clearly he didn't have. Stephen took a few pictures, but they weren't from the bottom of the bumper(where the damage occurred). He was shoving his phone in my face, and shouting at me, in very threatening manner, that he serves few counties. I backed up and started dialing Toyota services manager and informed them about the verbal abuse and how they are going to handle the towing. He was listening and abruptly approched me and told me that he knows the supervisors and was yelling that he knows everyone. I was wondering why he was staying and repeating that he will not serve me while I was aranging for a different towing company. The angry man, was pointing at the logo on the truck thats him... he was the owner- SCHOCKING. From the next towing company, the towing guy confirmed that, apparently from my description that the Individual which came is the owner of the Vinny's. He mentioned that their reputation is awful and they treat their employers with no respect. It was obvious that the reputation is warranted based on his treatment of Stephen. He was yelling, barking, and comanding Stephen to leave. Unfortunately the verbal and emotional abuse, and the way how he treated me was not acceptable. BE VERY CAREFUL WHEN YOU CHOOSE THE SERVICE OF THIS COMPANY!

Absolutely the worst customer service with the owner. Looking for a way to post conversations. They changed their price because opted to pay online. And was charged $75 additional fee for not paying them in under 90 minutes. Look below at all the reviews. Especially the 1 star reviews..... they are spot on.

This morning I foolishly got out of my car without taking it out of gear and my car rolled over a curb and got stuck in the mud with just the rear tires on the pavement. I called GEICO, my insurance company, where I have included road service on my policy. They took my information and had a tow truck dispatched from Vinny's. They told me that the truck would arrive within 30 minutes. Well, the truck was 3 or 4 minutes EARLY (very impressive)! The operator, Charlie, was polite, professional and extraordinarilly careful with my car. He took his time surveying the situation, figuring out the best way to get my car out without causing any damage. It took Charlie about 25 minutes to get my car out but he did it well and caused no damage to my car. I never knew that towing (or recovering, as he told me my situation was) is such a detailed process. I must say that I was very impressed with Vinny's getting a truck to me quickly. I was also very impressed with the way the operator, Charlie, handled himself and the job he had to do for me. I would recommend this service to anyone in the Frederick, MD area whenever you have a problem with your car. In fact, should I need a tow operator again, when I call my insuraance company I will request that they send someone from Vinny's (hopefully Charlie).

Needed a tow for my van from Frederick to the dealership in Hagerstown. Response was prompt and super easy, zero hassle with my Carmax roadside assistance coverage. My van breaking down had been a huge nightmare, this was a bright spot in my day considering the situation. Got a card because will definitely call these guys again. THANKS!

My daughter's car broke down in Pennsylvania. I had Vinny's tow a working car to her and pick up the dead vehicle and take it to my mechanic in Frederick. I scheduled an appointment for 11 a.m. and they showed up on time and were polite and helpful (dispatcher and driver). Very happy about this - so is my daughter!

I wish this rating could be lower. From one business owner to another, this is as terrible run company as I've seen, I don't know how you're still in business. This guy charged me double what his rate was, with no explanation, or Reason given. If any of you read this, and I get to one of you, then I'm glad I wrote this. I own a moving company out of Michigan. My completely empty box truck was stuck on a muddy incline, 25 feet off of the driveway, spinning with no weight in the back. I called a few companies, this was the only one available, and it was 9.2 miles away. 9 miles. I was told the charge was "$175 an hour, port to port.." I was then instructed to email a few photos, and then follow up call with directions. At that point when I was speaking to the "dispatcher", he told me the driver said my price was $350. Exactly double his quote. I asked him "was this an estimation? Where at the end of the service a true number is known and then calculated, or was my bill exactly $350? I'm just asking, but the driver thinks this is going to be a two-hour job? You did say you charge $175 an hour, port to port. I'm 10 minutes from you. It will only take 20 minutes to pull me 20 feet straight. My charge is $350?" The dispatcher then ask me to wait 5 Seconds to talk to the driver, and when he returned he said "the driver doesn't want to argue with you, you can sit there." What's wrong with this scenario? Why is a dispatcher asking a driver to quote my tow anyways? It can even be explained as to how they come up with a number charged? They can't even explain it ? Any kind of questioning is then met with a threat of "go find someone else"? That response completely caught me off guard . Should I be thankful he just said $350 ? What if he said $750 ? Does that make it justifiable just because he wants to throw a number out there and can't even explain where that number came from? So I'm stuck in that position at that moment, either paying double of original quote, or sitting there until the next morning, sleeping in the truck. Criminal. What would you do? What if you didn't have $400 on you? So, the second I happily log onto a website, pay the $350 fee, plus $10 fee for the site cost (hysterical), I get a call from the driver who's coming. I start a timer on my phone. 14 minutes later I seen flashing lights. 28 minutes later, after the initial Park, the meet-and-greet, the driver positioning, hooking up, pulling me 30ft, unhooking, paperwork, we both pulled out of the drive. 28 min later. 42 min total Driver's name was Teddy. Nice guy. No problem with him, just doing his job. He looked experienced. But this tow-out at this point took just over 40 minutes. $350 tow, pulled straight forward 30 ft, less than 10 miles away from the towing station. the dispatcher knew I was from out of state. Knew the position I was in. And literally doubled his rate and threatened to leave me there without explanation. Deplorable. Don't ever use this company. you see the true nature of people when how they treat others when no one's looking, or how they treat others in moments of vulnerability. Sickens me. They're actually companies out there like this. Be very careful. This company is run by frauds. Out to take advantage of you any chance they can.

Prompt, efficient, and fast. Stuck on Rt. 340 at dusk and they arrived in 15 minutes. Mike, the tow truck operator, went out of his way to make us feel at ease and made a bad situation about as stress free as it gets. Drive us, our car, AND our dog to the garage. Couldn’t have asked for a better person or company!
