This place has the most professional people from towing staff to reception staff and specially, Dave and his staff in bodyshop is the true example of going above and beyond. One of our truck 2020 Freightliner Coronado (White) got damaged by another carrier in Maryland rest area damage was quite substantial truck wasn’t drivable. From first call after midnight for towing to getting truck fixed was a phenomenal experience in terms of quality parts, workmanship and timely communication from bodyshop manager Dave who handled all the insurance formalities himself.
Mark’s equipment absolutely earned my respect and future business!

My car broke down and I left it at the park on Ballenger. Don't do that. It was towed. I was so upset when I went to Mark's to get it back. Each person I interacted with treated me with warmth and friendliness. Because of their kindness I actually left feeling better that when I arrived. Hillary was especially helpful!
Our car broke down in Frederick, MD. The Tow truck came out quickly as promised. The driver was cordial and efficient, taking us to the repair we had contacted.
I had to get some stuff out of my vehicle and I did not realize that the shop was not open on Saturdays. However, an employee by the name of Travis had pulled up and was able to help me find someone to gain access to my vehicle and get what I needed out of it. He's an awesome person. Started off with promises unfulfilled. Screwed me in the end. I would not recommend as they just lie to you and overcharge. Cost me a grand to have them do nothing and they asked for more before I called them out. I’m glad I will never deal with them again. They didn’t look for parts and charged me $1000 to basically put the broken parts back on my truck.
Best shop in town. Broke down just down the road. Made a call to Marks, they had a service truck to me within the hour. Problem diagnosed and fixed within a few mins. Fast friendly service. Very professional crew here. Knowledgeable mechanics get ya back on the road in no time. Will definitely keep their info for future reference! Thanks again guys! Much appreciated.
I was forced to use them by the police after an accident ( they have a contract with the city ). The driver was very nice and professional the ladies at the desk were also nice. My only complaint was in the deal they have with the police. I had to show up in person to release my vehicle. They could do nothing over the phone. It’s 2024, I signed for my house over the internet and I can’t sign to release a wrecked truck? Not quite sure if it’s a law or a policy, but it’s really redundant.
I didn't need the tow, but I did have to leave my motorhome to be fixed . Travis is great at keeping me informed as to what is happening. Appreciate their service.
Needed a simple tow to get my car back on the road, nothing more. It was around 9 at night and they were the only place available that late, which was nice. Service was also very efficient. Only problem was the price. Not an expert on towing but I’m pretty sure $350 is a bit much for simply getting my car out of a ditch (the whole process took around 15 minutes). Not sure if this has anything to do with it but on the invoice they marked the start of service at when I first called them, which was around an hour before they arrived. Again, very grateful they had someone available that and the service was good, but I can’t help but feel I got ripped off.
Both companies I've worked with trust Marks for servicing their trucks. There are a handful of shops in Frederick, but Mark's is the best spot for towing, breakdowns, and PMs when you are just the average company with no contracts. They do quality work and earned their good reputation for me.
32' Motorhome with 2nd pinion seal leak in 4 years. First done by Ford under warranty, thus no price comparison. The work was done promptly, the multi piece drive shaft balanced, and diagnostic analysis completed with minimal down time. I have no basis for cost comparison, but intellectually feel in the ballpark. Travis and Ralph (service coordinators) very professional and accommodative. Thanks..definitely recommend for larger MH where many dealers/RV companies would take MONTHS to schedule and complete(if they can) the work.

Had some surprise engine stuttering on a Saturday morning, my call was answered right away and the truck was at my location within 45 mins. Pricing was fair and my car arrived safely at the shop I requested. Was able to pay over the phone as I did not ride with the driver. Super convenient and pleasant!
The driver was so rude. We were stuck on the side of the interstate and we were extremely stressed and all he did was give us major attitude because our insurance company messed up. I would rather push my car than ever deal with them again.

Recommended without hesitation. The situation: Blowout at full speed while eastbound on Hwy 70, half an hour outside Frederick, 2am on a stat holiday. (Yes, 2am on a holiday). MES was the third call made and the first to respond. The on-call driver somehow managed to find us, roadside in the darkness, within 45 minutes. Remarkable. AND he was very pleasant and accommodating (in what, as you can imagine, was a VERY stressful circumstance). The towing price was 100% reasonable. No surprises, all discussed in advance. Exactly the kind of service one hopes for in an emergency. Two thumbs up.
In response to Michael D.'s review, what he neglected to mention is that his vehicle was knowingly stored for over 6 months at an MES facility and he made no attempts to pay anything towards the tow. He was very well aware of where his vehicle was as he visited a couple of times to retrieve personal belongings out of the car. He writes this review after his car was towed in the middle of 2018...
Per MSP and FCSO regulations, unless attempts have been made toward collect or moving the vehicle, the towing company is only bound to hold the vehicle for so many days after the hold paperwork is presented to the towing company. Otherwise, it is considered abandoned property. The 6+ months it was here is longer than the required time to hold it.
Maryland code: § 25-206. Effect of failure to reclaim vehicle.
(a) In general.- If the owner or secured party fails to reclaim an abandoned vehicle within 3 weeks after notice is given under this subtitle, the owner or secured party is deemed to have waived all of the owner's or secured party's right, title, and interest in the vehicle and to have consented to the sale of the vehicle at public auction, and the owner other than a lessor is deemed to have consented to the retention of the vehicle for public purposes as provided in § 25-207 of this subtitle.
