This time I received a oil change and head gasket replacement. In and out in about 2hrs. ? ? ?
As always Mike Montgomery’s delivers prompt and exceptional service. Their overnight drop off is very convenient. A nice, local, family owned business I am happy to recommend.
The Mike Montgomery Body Shop team has taken great care of my truck. Whether it’s routine maintenance or fixing the body damage I’ve inflicted on her, they always deliver quality work and great service.
Unfortunately, I had a poor experience at this shop. While waiting for my car in the lobby, I overheard an employee speaking negatively without realizing I was sitting right there. That alone was extremely unprofessional and uncomfortable. The front desk interaction also felt forced, with what came across as a fake smile rather than genuine kindness.
When the mechanic finally came out, he acted as if I was an inconvenience instead of a customer. There was little effort to explain the repairs or discuss my car, and overall I did not feel welcomed or appreciated. Out of all the auto shops I’ve visited, this would easily be my last choice, and I would only consider returning as a last resort. Employees should be mindful of how they speak in customer areas—if this is what’s said in the lobby, it makes you wonder what’s said behind closed doors. I would not recommend this shop.
I dropped my vehicle off for a state inspection. Everything went well, the staff greeted me and was very helpful. I was in and out with a completed inspection. Very satisfied. Thank you Mike Montgomery!
amazing experience. i received a work request from a different shop and didn’t trust it. took my vehicle to mike montgomery and they determined i didn’t actually need the work and fixed my vehicle for me on the spot. great people and explained the issue to me perfectly. highly recommend. my car was in and out in 2 hours!
Had my car repaired after a lady t boned me. They took care of all the phone calls with the insurance company and even helped out with my rental car They definitely go above and beyond here
I’ve been using Mike Montgomery Auto for several years. As usual, services provided at my most recent visit were completed in a timely manner and without any complaints from my end. The staff are always very friendly and professional. Would recommend this shop to anyone whether their needs are small or large!
Mike's alerted me at my last oil change that my front brakes and rotors were on their last legs and needed attention soon. I made an appt for a few days later and got them replaced. I had been concerned about the back brakes and asked about getting them done at the same time, but they said no, they're still good. Honesty. Could have said yeah, let's do those, too. That's what I like about Mike's--trustworthy, fairly priced and dependable work.
Our family appreciates the work that Montgomery Auto Body and Repair does for us. We can count on them to keep our cars on the road and running well. We also like to know ahead of time what the cost would be and if the priority or urgency of a repair.

Mike Montgomery auto has been our trusted body and mechanical shop for the last 16 or 17 years. Whether it’s new tires, oil changes, brakes, mechanical or bodywork.
His prices are reasonable and his advice and recommendations have been unbiased and refreshing in a world where making money dictates.
Our most recent experience was a warning light on the dash indicating a problem with four-wheel-drive. Apparently our vehicle model and year are victim to failing transfer cases.. So much so that the part is unavailable, with a one year waiting list. Even looking into a used part From a wrecking yard is more than twice the cost of a rebuilt.
Mike suggested not doing the service, and suggested trading vehicle or driving till it dies.
In my experience, Mike has never given bad advice.. Highly recommended!
Persistence Pays Off!
I had a front end issue on my Ford Escape that wasn’t easy to diagnose. The Mike Montgomery Auto Team kept at it, found the issue and got my back on the road. Thanks guys.
Dropped vehicle off for a MD inspection, some of the things found were understandable but many were not. For example, one bolt eyelet on exhaust flange was rusted off but exhaust was still tight and connected. Which that is what it is but the fact that they said it couldn’t be repaired and they would have to quote me for a new catalytic converter is CRAZY. Picked vehicle up and installed new flange in 10 minutes for 7 dollars that night. Can’t imagine what they were gonna charge me for everything else.
Mike turns small issues into big to upsell. After this experience was told from many people in the area that they would never give them business.
We had an emergency tow to Mikes on Friday evening. They resolved the issues on Monday and communicated frequently including pricing in advance. Would highly recommend.
I called Mike Montgomery Auto hoping they could fit me in to checkout and fix or replace an unexpected flat tire. i got no answer from the first two auto places I called and was feeling alarmed when I contacted MMA and spoke with a very pleasant assistant who said they could fit me in if I didn't mind waiting. While there I asked if they could check the battery since it had recently gone dead for no reason i could discover. They repaired the tire and saw no issue with the battery so cleaned the cables for me and shared some valuable information re tires and battery. They were fantastic! The service tech who checked out my car was respectful and happy to answer my questions as was Mr. Montgomery who arranged it all. I was very grateful they were willing to fit me in on top of which they checked out the battery too!! Many, many thanks to the fantastic employees at Mike Montgomery Auto Svc and Collision!!!!
Wow! Excellent service! They gave a good estimate, texted me pictures of what the job needed, and had my car done the same day! The best experience and all other repair shops I've been to in the area don't come close. I will be giving them all my business and everyone in my family!
Used to always recommend Montgomery! Won’t do it again. Told them the whole problem with my car ( code and all) needed to know why my AC quit working. Got Charged $106 dollars and came home with 5 more codes. I was told I needed to reschedule another day to diagnose each code and that it would cost $100+ for each code.
Best experience i've ever had bringing my car to a shop and i've worked in several dealerships. They were so transparent and accommodating. They made the process easy and were extremely pleasant and welcoming. I will be bringing my car back to them for sure.
Mike’s a wonderful place to get your car worked on! The staff is knowledgeable and very polite. They’ll let you know the situation with your vehicle before any work is done, all the options that they can do for you .The waiting room is very clean and welcoming.
Our family only needed a knock sensor. I even went in the shop and said this when gave Mike's guys my car. A 2017 Lancer and it only needed a $180 knock sensor that thank goodness a family friend stepped up after this man Mike Montgomery quoted me a whole new transmission to not void a warranty I didn't have. Mind you I bought this car straight out from the dealership. So no payment, for our vehicle car was a 2017 and he wants to stick to warranty. Well thank goodness a family friend said don't do that he wants 11,000 just get a used car or let me try and replace the knock sensor. Well I let the family friend try the knock sensor and guess what the car is good as new. Long story short Montgomery wanted to charge 11000 to a family with 1 car that I bought with military money I had. This guy looks out for his pocket and not what your vehicle needs to just go again . I'd give negative ratings if it let me , I feel he tried to rip a family off and line his pockets, well actually I know he did it just didn't work with me buyer beware. We also got a plug in called Fixd you plug into car and it diagnoses the issue so you can know exactly what's wrong with your vehicle. Guess what it didn't show, yes it said bad knock sensor not transmission codes so stay far away from this shop.
Mike provided the definition of exceptional service. my vehicle was at a shop that could not provide the services needed which was going to require additional towing and diagnostics. I called mike for a professional opinion, and without hesitation, he went to get the vehicle for me regardless of distance. The car was diagnosed and repaired in a quick turn around (he even kept me updated daily with the status of repairs). Mike went out of his way to make my repairs affordable and his pricing was very competitive with the shop I initially visited.

Great team and great work. I have taken a few of my vehicles to Mike's for different things. They are always quick, detailed, and do great work.
