Was ok from the first time I used them. but after I had the Air Conditioning problem they told me it was the compressor but after I payed them over $700.00 dollars I got my truck back with the same problem that it had originally. Then that spiraled to a heater fan, then a idle tensioner, and finally a belt bringing the cost up to over $1400.00 worth of repairs not to mention not being to work my truck to make up any of the money I payed out.
I was out of town when my Tahoe broke down. I left it over night and they called the next morning and said they would get to me the next day. My fiance lives down the road , she picked it up in three days. I as a business owner myself have not received this kind of care in my home town. I absolutely recommend these guys to anyone that reads this. She will have all her car needs done there from here on out. Thank you gentlemen for the great service.
First time customer here, they provided excellent service all around. Very pleased with how fast my vehicle was picked up and diagnosed. I will absolutely be using Tim’s from now on.
My 2017 F150 started over heating and dumping Anti Freeze this afternoon i stopped in and the front desk was so nice. I was told they were backed up but fit me in for tomorrow morning. I truly will be doing my vehicle repairs there from this point on. By the way I just moved to Parkville and what a nice community. Thank you Tim’s.
Tim I would like to personally thank you for the professionalism I was treated with. Ian always does a great job. I recently had some pretty extensive work done to my 2015 Honda Fit and couldn't more satisfied. Also wanted to give Jimmy prop's for the clean work he performed for this job. If I could give below a one star I would. This company does trouble work and puts used parts in our car. We had to go back like 3 times cause they didn't fix our air conditioning system correctly and it kept failing emissions test after they fixed our evaporating system (or suppose to have fixed it). They are crooks we payed them $3200 for a bad job. The air repair didn't work not even a year before it broke again. Never use these ppl for any kind of service especially air conditioning repairs.
Always pleased with the work performed at Tim's on my car. Getting the car ready for winter -oil change-radiator flush-new wipers.-toped off fluids and check tires & brakes.
This was my first experience at Tim's Automotive and will now be my go to for all repairs. Ian provided excellent customer
service from the beginning until the end. My car was completed in less than a week and thanks again to all of the staff at Tim's for a job well done!
Took my truck in to be fixed, had to take it back the next day because it was not fixed. The guy at the Harford rd shop was ignorant. No people skills. Labor was WAY TO HIGH. A 45 minute job took 6 hrs.
Tim‘s did such a detailed and thorough report of what was wrong with my vehicle. It was very easy to read. The employees were so nice and Professional. They gave me options and tried to help with costs.

I love Tim's Automotive. I have taken my care there twice and I love them because they only fix what's wrong and do not try to sell you stuff you don't need. The staff is super friendly and helpful. They have a shuttle service to drop you back home but not so great about picking you back up. Which I don't care. I still will take my car to them even if I have to Uber to pick up the car. Great job and great staff.
Ian and his mechanics were exceptional with the turn around of my vehicle within 5 business days. I am pleased with their work and will definitely come back if necessary
I recently have an appointment for Maryland state inspection for a vehicle I bought from Virginia. They promptly gave me updates and did not give me any delays. I spoke to Ian, Tim's Auto service writer, to bring my 2016 Chevy Silverado in. I was having problems with it starting, but thankfully, Ian informed me it was just the battery. As busy as they were, they were able to get my up and running again the next day. Tim was very helpful, friendly and courteous. Not only did they quickly get me a new battery and on the road the next day, I was also really impressed with how they took care of my truck all around. When I went to get in my truck, they had plastic steering wheel cover, a plastic seat cover and a floor mat over top of mine. That said a lot to me right there. I don't think many auto repair shops do that. To most people, that wouldn't matter, but to me that shows care and respect to the vehicle their working on. Again thank you Ian, and Tim's Auto for your professionalism. I'll be sure to call on you again if I need service on my truck.
I went to Tim’s automotive for a second time as their service is beyond expectations. They provide a multi- point inspection without request or charge to customer. They take photos of your vehicle while in service and follow up with you immediately to talk through them. They are not pushy, misleading but an honest company. I’m
very please and will continue to get my car service there.
I had a slow leak in one of my tires, so pulled up to their place of business and never had I been there they were able to service my vehicle. It was a Friday around 4:30 PM. We come to find out there were 2 nails in the tire. They were able to patch the tire and let me on with my weekend. They are very ice and personable, and professional. I will definitely be using them again.
Ashley Smith is awesome! I definitely recommend her making sure that the job is done the way it should be. She is very understanding and listens to the concerns of her customers. I’ve been going to Tim’s on Old Hartford Rd for a few years now and I have to say it’s the best experience I’ve had when it’s comes to maintenance and repair. They have always been knowledgeable about my car and fair in their pricing. Can’t say that about other places I’ve been.
The staff has always been pleasant and I’ve actually enjoyed sitting there during an oil change talking with the office staff and some of the tow truck drivers. The technician has always taken the time to explain to me what he’s going to do and tell me what’s necessary and what’s optional. Can’t recommend this place enough.
