This place is a money racket. They won't allow our mechanics tow truck to pick up our daughters car and take it to the scrap yard. When they won't tow it to the scrap yard themselves. All of the companies in the area I have contacted have said they will not deal with this company. Pray your car is never towed by these crooks.
They even didn’t let me take my car next building and would not accept the payment until I call a tow . I had to call a tow to move literally 0.01 miles . Avoid this place .
They was the worst tow service I ever used I broke down and called the cops and they came out the guy was very rude I asked them to tow it to my house he said no I need to get my stuff out you need to fire him he didn’t want to wait for me to get my stuff and did want to wait he was very disrespectful and he was so unpatient and rude then when we paid then we had a dolly they said we couldn’t drive to get the car nobody helped til we was in the middle of the gate I will never use you guys again
I'm assuming that the reviews I'm reading are fabricated, as I don't see these folks capable of what you may call service.
I lost traction in a hard rain and was told Tim's was my only option even though I have tow coverage on my truck, no problem things happen. I have been treated like a subhuman in my every attempt to make contact and my family were told I was involved in a police chase, an outright and blatant lie, by their representative. So I lose the truck I've spent more than it's worth keeping maintained and running properly as their storage fees at 60 dollars a day are literally highway robbery. I wouldn't recommend these folks to my worst enemy.
We rely on Tim's for not only our routine car maintenance, but for those side of the road moments. All of their staff are incredibly kind and well-informed about mechanics. Definitely our go-to place.
Do not recommend. Called last night to get towed a few blocks to a dealer. Was told they were booked. Arranged to be towed in the morning. By 10:30, didn’t hear anything and car was not dropped off. Called Tim’s office to check on progress and was told they don’t tow to that dealer. They didn’t do the job at all and didn’t bother to inform me until I called them. Major inconvenience. If I need a tow again and Tim’s is the only company around, I’ll push it down the street myself.
Terrible experience took hours to show up refused to tow to a location 3minutes from there building wouldn’t let me have another company pick it up right away then charged me for the day they wouldn’t let me pick it up then charged me for the next day even know I picked it up very early the communication was terrible the driver didn’t even know anything about the business and had to wait 5 minutes for him to ask his for every question I had
Tim's Towing is the best around! I have used their garage services for 10 years. I had to have my vehicle towed last night and they did an amazing job! It was on a hill and sideways but they figured it out and handled it with care. Thanks guys!!
They have the worst customer service ever and the lady at the front desk is rude and unprofessional and why say you’re open 24 hours and I’ve Been calling since yesterday and I’m still calling now and can’t get anyone to answer the phone ????
used these guys twice in quick succession. real good folks, they really went out of their way to accommodate my schedule and situation, including swinging by my house on short notice to pick up the keys so i didnt have to meet them at the shop, and being nice enough to drop the car off in the back alley so it was easier to get it back into storage. i really appreciate it, and ill be sure to call them next time i need a tow in thier area.
Went to Tims Towing to retrieve stuff from totaled car. Charlene at the Front Desk as well as the Tow Guys in the yard were extremely pleasant & helpful to me. #Awesome
Just called and asked for a tow. The lady was almost shockingly rude and unprofessional, also hung up on me. It’s almost laughable how rude she was. Do not recommend. Or at your own risk but I wouldn’t trust them with a tow now anyway after that. Just wow.
I got a flat tire on 95 near 695 and Tim's was there within 20 minutes to pick up the car and take us to the shop. The driver was very concerned for my safety being on 95 and had me get into his truck as soon as he got there. I wouldn't use anyone else.
Tim’s towed my classic pickup truck after I couldn’t get it started. Handled it with care. Price was very reasonable and they put it on a rollback. Highly recommend and will use them again.
A tow truck owned by Tim’s Towing parks in a marked fire lane in my residential community. Contacted company and got this response: yellow curbs are not fire lanes, the driver is working as he is a first responder and can therefore park in a fire lane. I know police and fire and emt’s are first responders. Did not know toe truck drivers qualify as first responders. Maybe BCPD would prefer to issue a ticket! The “gentleman” I spoke to is not professional or customer service oriented!
The Move Over law was originally designed to protect first responders and tow truck drivers from being hit by another driver. On October 1st, it was enhanced to protect all drivers on shoulders. On Wednesday October 26th at around 12:30am, the driver operating tow truck #53 came within inches of hitting an Amazon Tractor Trailer (a company which I represent) parked on the shoulder with its hazard lights flashing on the Outer Loop of I-695 near the exit for Fort Smallwood Rd. Additionally this driver was going between 75-80mph in a 55mph zone. The words “Move Over Slow Down” are all over the rear of the tow truck. This driver is supposed to set an example. Instead, it’s the complete opposite.
Tims towing SAVED the day for us. We were traveling to our home up north and our cat jumped out of our car and climbed into the bottom of another car at the gas station. After almost 2 hours of trying to lure our cat out and being told by our own roadside service they don’t help with something like that we were given the number to Tims. We called and they came to us immediately lifted the car enough for my husband to climb under and pull him out. They were so kind and so helpful! Thank you so much! We will be forever grateful
Great service, really good at maneuvering in tight spaces. The company was very clear in their instructions and followed through. The driver was really nice and didn't mind me asking questions. I'd use them again (but hope I don't need to anytime soon lol). Even left my wallet clip in the front seat on accident, it was still there. Can't beat an honest company and driver with integrity. So we had a truck drive into our electrical pole last night, destroyed the pole and ended up moving a huge boulder, that hasn't moved from my front yard for over 30 years, smack into the middle of our driveway. The police were the ones to call this company, and Danney and Sean were the workers to come, both with their own trucks. They removed the truck, and went the extra mile of moving the boulder back into place, thank freaking goodness. This thing was legitimately huge and wasn't going to budge without serious help. (And keep in mind, this was all done in the dark after 8 PM.) Will recommend this company in the future for anything thanks to the amazing workers who went above and beyond for us.
My starter went out in my car and I called Tim’s towing to have it towed from my house to my shop of choice. They gave me a realistic expectation on time and they met expectation. Their pricing was less than I was expecting as well. I very much appreciated their help in advance of the winter weather & I will likely use them again if the need arises.
I had a rear tire on my truck blow out on 95 South, in front of the toll plaza, just before the evening rush hour. I called Tim's Towing and the driver John was there in minutes. John hooked up my truck on the flatbed and safely got me truck off of 95. Tims was able to order and install 4 new tires by noon the next day. Professional and extremely efficient!! This company in conjunction with the Hickory Hills Condo Association and MRA Property Management predatory patrol the parking lots at night looking for reasons to tow people. With no warning or notice they will tow your car and charge hundreds of dollars to get it back. If you do happen to see them towing your car they will then extort money from you to not tow it. They even towed my car after months of living in the community even though I had a valid parking pass and when I went to collect my car still refused to release my car without payment, only after I called the property manager did they release my car.
