if i could give 0 stars i would . Called 10 times on a Monday morning with no answer. Finally got someone on the phone and he was nothing but rude and short with me. When i told him to have a good day he said “Mmhm” and hung up. Talk about hating your job!!
Tried 4 other places before I found the part I needed here. The woman who helped me was professional, fast and friendly. The part was 1/5 what the dealer wanted. Never knew this place existed til I needed too, but will recommend to anyone.
Shawna and her team assisted me w 5 star service even when they were short staffed during these extremely uncertain times. Travelled 200 plus miles to get what we needed. Thanks again!
They do not return your core deposit. It's been a week and they have yet to return my $325.00 deposit. I was told the core was picked up Wednesday and the deposit would be put back on my acct. immediately. Then I was told yesterday the core was picked up on Thursday? Today is Tuesday April 2 and still no deposit. Obviously what I am saying is true or my money would be in the bank. It shouldn't take a week!

UNPROFESSIONAL NIGHTMARE
I spoke to Christina and ordered an engine for a customer on a Thursday. I explained that it was imperative the engine be delivered the next day. They assured me it would be delivered Friday. They would not allow me to pay with my credit card and was instructed to wire the money. I said "Fine." I had to leave my office and go to the bank, pay an additional wire fee and sent the money immediately. My customer called me furious the following Tuesday asking me where the engine was! When I called Beltsville, they were very nonchalant and totally unapologetic. The engine was finally delivered the following Wednesday. Beltsville Auto Recyclers is the worst yard I have ever dealt with. Unbelievably Bad!
I purchased a motor here for my car an so far so good thanks to Beltsville Auto Recycling! I would recommend this place to anyone looking for quality auto parts.
Dealing with this company has been one of the worst experiences I had in a long time! Very unprofessional and not reliable. I called to order a air bag and was assured that everything was all set, just had to fax over the fax confirmation which took no longer than 10 min. In the mean time the part I was assured to have was sold. Spoke with the owner and there was nothing that could be done. Don't recommend doing business with this company at all!!
I called ahead and said I'd be there between 12 and 1. I got there 1145. They said 20-25 minute wait. We waited over an hour. The guy that came in behind us decided to leave after waiting 45 minutes. So we left shortly after. It's a large place with a tiny little waiting room that says no public restroom. Maybe they should have a better waiting area seeing as people tend to be waiting around a lot. This is my second experience with this place. If the neighborhood doesn't give you a bad taste then their business practices will.
Amazing place to buy from. I bought an engine for my 1999 Ford Mustang excepting it to be the bare bones with nothing on it but it came complete ready to go into the car. Amazing price only 377$ for a 3.8 V6 with everything still on it, i will definitely be buying from BeltsVille Auto Recyclers again. The people there are very polite and understanding i took the core back very late because it took longer then excepted to remove from the car and they still took it even though it was minutes before closing so i could return the trailer i rented.
I had great service. I called on Tuesday for a transmission for a 2010 Corolla. I was told that the transmission was still on their car and to call back on Wednesday. I called the next morning and the transmission was ready. Great service and polite. The next day I needed another part. I was able to pick it up within an hour. As we waited in the office a gentleman came from behind the door and he gave my 2 young grandsons a flashlight for each of them. I'm very happy and satisfied.
Very unprofessional the hours of operation it's says 8am to 5 pm , I call them one day before to let them know I will come tomorrow for pick up the second day was 3:30pm call them to let them know I will be there about 4:30 , the women name Shana who what was answering the phone wasn't polite at all she was start telling me " is too late and we can not give you the seat because it's still on the car on the website it's doesn't say anything about that I'll ready drove 55miles and have left 15 miles to arrive , by the conversation it's seems she was rushing somewhere the closing time was 5 pm based on website information she was keep telling me 4:30 , the seat even to take out from car is taking 10 min not more then that she was saying it's dark outside at 3 :30 pm , so my impression of this company is : lazy workers who doesn't want to lift a pen to be helpful for costumers , I wish I could talk with the manager and I'll check defenetly tomorrow to speak with owner , I'm a business owner too and this lazy persons in my company are not aloud at all , if they will keep this type of crew I think this Bussines is not for long term.
They quoted the parts expensively...$100-$150 Part was quoted to me for $250
So, I looked around and they were the only one carried the matching color that I needed. so, I called again and confirmed they still have the part, and when do they open, and will I be able to see that part then. they said 8:00AM and sure I can see that part before the sale. I got there 8:30AM the next day, the same person I spoke to on the phone came, she said, "My guys are not here yet, it will be probably another hour until we are able to help you"
I was not happy to hear that....because I had to drive 88 Miles after talking to them twice already, and confirming their opening time, when I announced my frustration, the women said " we're done here"
Came another Man works in the office wanted me to leave, and acted like a bouncer in a night club. well, that did not work for me. He ended up looking for someone to take me to the vehicle in his yard to see the part before we take it out.
fifteen minutes later, he comes back " we can't take you there where the vehicle is located...safety, insurance...! " you could tell it was all B.S. or the part is really in a bad shape and he needed time to make it sell-able. So, I said OK, you can't take me to see the part for my safety and all, fine. When would you be able to hand me the part out here? He said not before 10:30AM. so, i said to him it is 4 bolts to disassemble the part. and one man can do the whole thing and carry it out, not to mentioned that you have an upset customer just explained to you his frustration and how pressed in time in hand. Finally, I told him " I don't know what to tell you" and his response was " I don't know what to tell you either"
I have been to a junk yards before and aware of what is a junk yard. But the people in that place are incapable of dealing with the normal public. they are located in a bad area, at 8 AM, drugs, alcohol, hitch-hikers etc. be careful going there and be prepared for the attitude.
