My mother put in a claim through her insurance to get a tow for my father’s truck. Got assigned K&R towing and got updates saying 70-110 minutes away then and hour, then eventually 20 minutes away. After we had people home (their requirement to tow) for over 4 hours called and said the tracker said 20 minutes away a long time ago. The dispatcher said we cancelled your tow. My mom asked why and with an attitude they told her there are other trucks they had to get instead. My mom asked why wasn’t she told and could she speak to who is in charge and got hung up on. Absolutely poor performance and unacceptable customer service.
Our tow truck driver (Jamal) contacted us before arriving AND arrived quickly.
Jamal was very professional & friendly. I highly recommend K & R towing. I will definitely be using K & R towing when I need a tow.

I am a USAA member who required a tow from my residence to a dealership close by. Unfortunately, I had the displeasure of having K&R towing assigned to my case. I don’t know if the dispatcher was having a bad day, but to leave a customer waiting 4 hours for a tow is unacceptable. All of the status updates were a result of calls I made to K&R dispatch. While the dispatcher was not disrespectful in her communications with me, the act of hanging up and dropping my case certainly was. She knew that by dropping my case, I’d be kicked back into the que; prolonging my wait. Not professional at all folks and if it were up to me, she’d be fired. The excuse of having an emergency call with priority over my pick up as an excuse to drop my case was highly unlikely and suspicious to say the least. So, if you find yourself needing a tow, don’t deal with K&R. Their service is definitely not worth the wait. Please read all the reviews about this company. Dropping your case and hanging up on customers is how they conduct daily business!
Amazing service , came in a timely manner & even helped me address what the issue was with my car. So when I got to the mechanic , they were able to get right to it. They were such a blessing , I know who to call for help now.
While driving northbound on Rt 1 in Beltsville, MD, on Wednesday, July 30, 2025 at roughly 7:30pm, I had the unfortunate pleasure of having one of this company's flatbed tow vehicles on the road with me. They failed to use turn signals cuttinge and others off, and also drove in two lanes blocking all traffic.
From this experience, I wouldn't recommend anyone use this company because they don't care about anyone else.

Had my car towed twice with K&R, both times the drivers were very communicative with me, and had my vehicle where I needed it in a timely manner. Had an issue with the tracker or the first tow but the office was very informative and polite. Would do business again.
The person at the location this time (female) was so helpful & polite. Thank you so much. I would imagine your job would be difficult having to deal with folk who were towed. So again thank you for being kind. Its appreciated ~
I wish I could leave 0 stars for this company. The driver is completely rude, distasteful, and unhelpful. For over a week I’ve been trying to get a car towed out of a spot that belongs to me. Initially, dispatch told me to just bring a copy of my lease when I meet the driver. I drove over an hour to meet the driver before he informed me that he would not accept my lease. He needed a tow card (something that myself, my landlord, nor the contact at the HOA knew about). My landlord emailed the HOA to fix things on the backend so that I would be properly identified as the tenant. After doing so, I called again to request the tow a few days later. The driver told me “do not call again until you have a tow card.” I had to escalate to the board of the HOA who was able to provide me with one, although they too expressed ill feelings and bad prior experiences with this company giving people a hard time. They agreed that the lease should have been sufficient, as they rarely use tow cards anymore. I finally emailed the tow card to K&R only for them to take an hour to respond. I ended up just paying out of pocket to have the car moved by another company at my expense.
DO NOT DO BUSINESS WITH THEM.
These people towed my car illegally, my decal in the car I had to call the police. The guy was so rude and I did get rude back because sir why would you steal my car.
If you get them as a tow truck company from USAA or AAA, IMMEDIATELY CANCEL AND ASK FOR A NEW COMPANY. They had me waiting for 2 HOURS then canceled the call and now I have to wait for another tow truck company.
Had a really good experience with K&R towing today. Great with communication, details, fair price and great service. I needed help in a short amount of time and they delivered. Shout out to my driver/technician Jesse who was fantastic. So nice, professional and despite a couple of hurdles (with my car details and placement) handled it no problem. Thank you guys so much!
AMAZING SERVICE
The tow truck driver quickly identified the issue with my car and was willing to assist me with fixing the problem immediately. I will always go with K&R.
Transmission went out on 295 and using roadside assistance K&R Towing picked up our tow. 90-120 minutes is the eta they gave. So 2 1/2 hours later I called to ask where they were. The lady was rude, defensive, and hung up on me when all I did was state that they were 30 minutes past the eta they gave. So now that she’s hung up on me and stopped answering the phone, I had to find out from my insurance company that she not only was rude and hung up on me but she also cancelled the tow. So now I’m still stuck on the interstate and am calling local tow companies after 2 1/2 hours of being strung along by K&R, a terrible terrible company.
My tow drivers name was Doug. Doug was very professional. He greeted me when we went too get the vehicle & dropped it off. You have a very valuable EMPLOYEE who knows his craft. I just retired frm being an owner/ operator truck driver of 40 yrs. I know professionalism when I see it...Keep up the good work Doug...b safe!!
Worst communication I've experienced in some time. I had to call a different tow truck because I had constant delays from the company. My initial wait time was 2 -2 and half hours, but I ended up canceling after 4 and half hours. By the time I canceled, they were ignoring my calls.
We were connected with K&R Towing through USAA. The driver was quick to arrive and very efficient with the pick up. He asked if I had any special request or needs at drop off and was very polite. I would recommend this tow service based on my experience this evening.
Had an irreparable tire puncture and couldn't remove the last 2 lugnuts to swap for my spare. (Need to get some better tools and WD-40).
Destiny, the dispatcher, was able to quickly get me set up and the phone call wasn't long.
The tower, Doug, arrived within 5-10 mins (he was nearby) and got me to a tire shop for a replacement. He was quick, knew what he was doing, and helped make the whole ordeal much more pleasant.
I really wish I could leave one star. The tow truck driver was very unprofessional and ignored specific instructions for where to park the car. When he was told not to place the car there he just drive off and when I called him he wouldn't let me speak and hung up on me. He was rude to the guys at the shop where my car was dropped off. I had to pay another towing service to come move the car to the correct spot because if it was left there the property manager would have had it towed due to blocking traffic. HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE!!! When I called the office the dispatcher basically said write down this email and complain to them. NEVER again!
I caught a flat after work and after being unable to change my tire using the spare, having another tow cancel without alerting my insurance company. He was professional, pleasant, and made an otherwise nervous night pretty damn easy to get through. He even recommended another really awesome shop to replace the tire all together. No Stars but I had to put One Star to make a Post. I ordered Roadside Assistance on 5/8/24 10:10 am from Allstate for our Toyota Truck to be picked up from my husband’s job in Laurel, Maryland. It was picked up around 11-11:30am. The destination listed was our residence in Columbia, Maryland. I waited at our home for a couple of hours looking out the door and window for its arrival. Then, my husband called concerned because our truck should have arrived by now which was around 12:50pm. So, my husband said that he was going to call to see where the driver was with the truck.
He said that a(unconcerned) dispatcher stated that it was dropped off near a brown building because there was no parking in your block. I called and spoke with the unconcerned dispatcher (Destiny Bundy) because this was farfetched and fabricated because we have pull in parking with lots of empty parking spaces especially during the afternoon. I informed her that I probably will have to call the police to locate our truck because we do not have a tracker installed. She mumbled something and hung up on me. Well, I called back, and a very nice gentleman transferred me to Destiny again and she was again short tempered, rude, unconcerned, and determined to tell me where the truck was left. She kept stating that it was in front of a brown building with no address due to no parking in your block. I informed her that I’ve been waiting and there’s been plenty of parking space. This was the worst customer service that I have ever had in years. She (Destiny Bundy) was persistent and never attempted to have any empathy for the customer (me) and how I was feeling not knowing where our truck was dropped off (location). Finally, an angel (the nice gentleman) called me back and stayed on the phone until he reached the driver. He then informed me that our truck should be picked up from wherever it was (he didn’t even know the location or address) but assured me that it should arrive at our residence soon. Finally, the driver arrived at our residence with the truck where it initially should have been dropped off. There was no need for the dispatcher (Destiny Bundy) to be rude and unconcerned because we are her employer’s Patron. I Pray that it’s not her or her Family’s Business. We are the reason that she gets a paycheck or maybe that is the ONLY REASON that she is there.
Terrible Service
I was linked up with this company through Nationwide. My driver, Jessy, arrived within the estimated time frame. He was respectful, professional and very helpful. He managed to place my car where I wanted it, even though it was a difficult fit. He was careful, took his time, and made sure to cause no additional damage. Before leaving he checked to make sure I was completely satisfied.
The came as a part of my Triple A service. I thought they were just gonna put my spare on and leave. But my technician not only took my flat tire off but also found the problem and plugged it and put air in it and put it back on. He just fixed everything within 10 minutes. So now I don't have to take time out of my day to get the tire fixes. And the tech was wonderful. I am beyond happy. Use this service you will not be disappointed
K&R answered the phone quickly without putting me on hold and were able to dispatch a flatbed tow truck (I requested a flatbed) right away. Now, let me tell you Edwin saved me today. He was the tow truck operator who arrived within 10 minutes after I spoke to the dispatcher! Thank goodness they are located close to where I live. Edwin was very knowledgeable and so helpful. I have a roadside assistance membership, but I knew they keep me waiting for hours. I had to get to work ASAP and K&R made that possible. Highly recommended, I will definitely call them if God forbid I need a tow in the future. Thank you Edwin!!
The lady who answered the phone and assisted me with the details and price of the necessary tow job was friendly, helpful, and very knowledgeable. The tow truck driver arrived at my location quickly and was extremely friendly and very good at his job. The whole process from calling K&R Towing to having my car dropped off 6 miles away at my local mechanic shop was super fast and not terribly expensive. I believe the entire transaction cost me $130, not bad, and definitely seemed like the cheapest option I could find locally on Google. I recommend K&R Towing highly. Good, friendly service at a reasonable price!

Destiny, supervisor dispatch was pleasant at first.
Then we had issue’s about where my car key was left . So, Destiny tried to call Edwin who was on a ER call & didn’t answer. I was anxiously awaiting a callback because when Edwin dropped the car off exactly where I asked him to it was going against traffic where the city give’s ticket’s for this kind of parking. Destiny asked “well did you tell him?” Uh, no I thought we all parked in the direction of traffic. Common sense to me, maybe only me. I asked for a supervisor and she was the supervisor. I asked for the owner who is dispatch 003, their personal info I.E. first name could not be given out but she being the supervisor can give me her name and not dispatch #! Interesting and I let her know that. Her response was as soon as Edwin called her she’d call me “have a good day and hung up on me.” I waited for this tow truck for 4 hour’s and I couldn’t get the first name of the owner. I will not refer or use this tow company again. I will also let Allstate Insurance company, who referred me through Roadside Assistance how slowwww and rude Destiny became while taking almost 30 minute’s to confirm where my car key was left. I’ll report them to the BBB as well!
USAA initial assigned me another company I had major issue with in the past. I asked them to dispatch another company and K&R picked up the job. The driver called be with 15 minutes of the request, told me he was 15 minutes out, and won't you know he showed up on time. Was very curious, loaded my truck quickly, and got me to the shop. I will ask for K&R through my insurance if the occasion arises again. 10 out of 10, I recommend
My F350 super duty broke down. This towing company was called out and within an hour they had it at the shop I requested. They are prompt, professional and have great customer service.
