Thank you Rays Truck Service for saving our trip! Halfway out on the first dsy of a 4 week trip, our steering wheel was doing the shimmy. We had a tire rotation done on the van a week earlier but had not had the tires balanced. We definitely had an issue with a tire, and they were able to get us in the next afternoon. They were professional and persistent to get the tires situated for us to continue our trip. So thankful for helpful people.

He was very responsive and made it easy to access our vehicle and get things we needed out of it including a box top which he helped me load onto a truck. WE called Rays TO SAVE THE DAY!!! I decided an out-of-pocket charge for the tow to be completed, Matt he explained to me AAA’s policy if they didn’t show up within a certain amount of time frame, they had to reimburse the customer!!! That is education I can keep for a lifetime. ( I still would always maintain my AAA just to get reimbursed.)
Absolutely criminal. $235 to get car out of their lot after being towed 2 miles away this morning from snow ban lot in Biddeford. Looking at other reviews, they were charging $165 last winter, which was already exorbitant. What a racket. Greedy money grubbers with no shame.
My car decided to make friends with a ditch this morning thanks to the snow; one of the drivers was going past in his tow truck and stopped to pull me out as I was on the phone with AAA. Super nice, super professional, and saved me a lot of time waiting.
They came they saw and almost didn't conquer I had a super single tire they sent one road service guy out he was a good guy but he needed assistance that tire I had on my trailer was heavy and so was the rim he took off I ended u giving him a hand or else he would be there all day . But I like said nice technican but just too much work for him but I was fixed and still on my way .
Snow ban was at 7:30 and my car was on the bed of their truck by 7:35! Amazingly fast service! My only regrets were paying the extortion fee of $165 to get my car down rather than wasting your company's time and having it towed so more tenants could move out of the lot. Thank goodness we have important and proper businesses like Ray's to impose totally reasonable economic consequences on working class folk 8)
Good, Honest, and Fair priced man!!!! Unfortunately I got stuck up here in Maine at -18 Temp while getting unloaded at shaws and my fuel jelled up even after adding 911 Emergency and after treatment. I called Rays first but couldn’t get a hold so I contacted another I got charged $1000 and no fix. I recalled Rays again after leaving my truck and getting a Hotel… guy gets the fix’n in under an hour My truck is running he even fixed another issue with my battery that he didn’t even have to. Man Thank you!!! I appreciate it 100% FMS… please support them if your a Trucker in the area and having issues you won’t regret it trust me!
I was in a tight spot with the tractor trailer while making a delivery at a local school. I had to reverse onto the lawn to get out and didn't see a stump protruding. It took out one of the trailers brake lines and the trailer brakes immediately locked down. I was stuck. I initially called my company's trailer repair company, but their mobile repair guy was up in Augusta. I then called Ray's Truck Service and they had someone there in 10 minutes. Francis not only fixed my broken brake line, but also got a chain saw to cut the offending stump so I could pull off the lawn and get out of there. Can't recommend them enough!
It's late July 2022.
My family was traveling back from visiting our relatives in Maine, driving down 95 in a junky rental from one of the big rental firms when the rear right tire exploded. On 95. With our two small children in the back. We pulled over to the shoulder. Trucks screaming past my 3 year old son's door. AAA does not pick up on highways.
My wife found Ray's. She called. 10 minutes later -- some of the longest 10 minutes of my life -- Fred arrived. He was smart, safe, swift and extremely kind. My older son and my wife were very shaken up and Fred's natural friendliness and human put them both at ease. He even kept watch as I went from the driver's side door on to the highway briefly to get in his cab. Fred has Marvel figurines on his dash -- gifts from his kids -- and he asked my kids which heroes were their favorites, both distracting them and entertaining them. What an outstanding person.
He got the car attached and suggested that he drive us to Town Fair Tire in Biddeford. From there, It all ended up fine. We were extremely grateful and Fred was an absolute gentleman and a pro.
I do not know what would have happened if we had not found Ray's and if their office and Fred hadn't literally pulled us off the side of America's busiest highway on a peak summer season weekend. I really don't know.
Clearly an excellent business. And for us? Guardian angels.
We are moving back to NY to help take care of my Dad. When we came back to have movers pack up the house, went to hook up our boat and brakes on our truck went to the floor, passenger side had a leak. My husband call a place to get repaired but couldn’t get us in until September. They recommended Rays Towing, husband called able to get the truck in on that Monday. They towed the truck and fixed the brakes all in the same day and didn’t charge an arm and a leg!! If we were staying in Maine we would be using Rays for all our repairs! Thank you guys!!
Big thank you to the team and tow driver that took great care of my Del Sol this morning, after having an unexpected mechanical issue that caused the car to die while on my commute to work, and unable to start again. The team was quick to get my car towed back to my house and went above & beyond by unloading my del sol right into my garage and onto my car lift, saving me all sorts of logistical headaches trying to figure out how to get the car in there when it won't turn on (the driveway is uphill so pushing it in doesn't work). Not only did he get it in and right onto the lift, he nailed the placement so it is directly center - we don't even get it that precise when we back a car in reverse!
Thanks again guys, this failure was the last thing I needed this week, but your dedication to your customers made all the difference today.

I gave a buddy a ride to get his car after being stopped for oui and Ray's towed his car. But he shows up with beer on his breath..I told him they wouldn't give him his car but he only had money enough to get it now cause it cost storage every day. So I bring him over.. the guy says no way! So he agreed to leave the car outside the gate So he won't be charged another day and let him have when he comes back tomorrow sobber. Well when we got back to his house and Ray's was right behind us with the car on ramp truck.. No Charge!

We absolutely cannot say enough good things about this company, especially Steve. We had a bearing and axle failure on our RV. Steve came out to our campsite the day we called, removed damaged parts showing us all the components that failed so that we could get photos for insurance. Axle and parts all replaced in three days. This company was very communicative and kept us apprised every step of the way. Would not hesitate to call them again! Great job guys.
Being a truck driver, I’ve had to deal with Ray’s roadside assistance twice recently, and also needed a tow on one of those two occasions. These people are professionals, they’re kind, calm, know what they’re doing and their vehicles are well-equipped. I totally recommend them!
Had my car break down on the highway outside of Old Orchard. They were able to pick it up that morning. Had my repairs done at the shop the next day they were open. They never did anything without consulting me first and would always call first. All repairs were done very quick.

Well there are some really amazing people still left in this world!!! The two guy came to tow my car ($100 plus to tow from here to Westbrook) told him what was wrong with it. He got in the car, then got out and opened the hood and knew what was wrong with it! Well he made it so I could at least drive it to the shop and not spend the money to tow it! My dad managed to find the part and it's on order and it's a super easy fix. Ray's Truck Servive is great. The man was super nice and I really appreciate it! He could have easily towed my car and charged me, but he didn't and I'm extremely thankful! I wish I would have asked his name so I could mention him. Thank you sir, you are a great person!
