A large multi floor mansion house packed with antiques. The pricing could be better/could be worse on some items. But if antiques is your bag then this is a good place to check out.
There is a sign on the door that reads, “No public restrooms.” There were no directions to locate the public restrooms. Once we located the restrooms near the park, we entered to three floors of “antiques.” More vintage than true antiques, no Shaker items or higher end pieces. This used to be a nice destination. If you are selling to an older population, in a tiny town, you might want to provide access to facilities.
That’s my kind of antique shopping! The place is gorgeous and super clean, so you don’t feel like you’re inhaling dust and mold. I usually avoid antique stores for that reason. Plus, there are awesome deals and some really unique finds!
LOVE this shop!!! Not just great small items but also lots of furniture... and a varied mix of anything one might want. OK, so I have sold here for OVER 30 YEARS... there is a reason for that!!! I know you will agree with my review... come visit and enjoy!
Love thus place, didn't have what we were looking for . But love just walking around looking at all the old stuff, and remembering some childhood memory.
Stopped in here while visiting family in Maine . So glad I did ! Beautiful items made from local artists , and everything was curated very nicely . The owner was incredibly friendly as well . A must stop if you’re in Cornish !
This shop is so nice! The atmosphere and displays are great. While I didn’t find many books, which I like the best, the shop had quite a variety of antiques and treasures. It’s worth a stop in!
Love this antique store ,always go just to browse ,but end up buying something it's very big with lots to look at great selection of antiques I would highly recommend checking this place out if you like antiques and prices are fair .
One of the loveliest antique+thrift shops I've visited in all my travels! So well curated and displayed, with loads of beautiful treasures to be found.
I was vacationing in Maine with my family. We wanted to visit the town, and find little treasures. This store was by far my favorite in the town. There was a wide variety of cool things to look at. My favorite of which being their jewelry trays! The two owners were at the front of the shop, and they were very friendly and nice to talk to. I’d definitely recommend this place to anyone going through Maine!! <3
The owners are so helpful and friendly. There are antique shops overflowing with stuff, and then there are the ones with everything staged beautifully as if it belonged in your home. Cornish Trading has everything staged.
Three floors to explore. There is a good mix of typical antique and vintage items as well as many unique items you probably won't see hardly anywhere else. If you're looking for a piece to make a statement, you have to visit this store.
We visit Cornish Trading Company every time we are here on vacation. The shopkeepers are wonderful and so personable. The selection of antiques is always stellar and well displayed. We have many finds from here that we enjoy. Definitely a must stop when you’re in the Cornish area!!
This is a wonderful group shop. I’ve visited twice now and purchased several items both times. I will definitely shop here again, but have one small complaint. We asked to use a restroom and were told none was available. They sent us across the street to the town public restrooms, but they were not open. We had to purchase drinks across the street in order to use the restaurant restroom. I know this is a bone of contention for many businesses, but most antiques shops today at least offer their customers the courtesy of a restroom. If you visit this shop, just be sure you don’t need facilities before going in.
LOVE, LOVE, LOVE this shop. I can't say enough nice things. Great selection, reasonable prices, friendly, welcoming staff. I always make a special trip here when I'm in the area. Wait, I should have said, it's an awful shop. Don't go there! That way you won't find all the great stuff before I do!
