I was in the parking lot, struggling to get my new license plate on my car. This young Man got out of his truck and asked if he could help me. He not only was able to get a stripped license plate screw out Using multiple tools, he was so eager to do whatever it took to help me. His name is Aaron (I asked one of the workers there) and he was extremely helpful. I was so impressed, I made an appointment at CIP next door to have work done on my vehicle.
These guys went above and beyond to help me. The manager Erin came in on his day off to get my hydraulic hose made up for my backhoe, and his employee Eric was very patient and diligent in searching for the correct part.
Also, hats off to Erin for taking the opportunity to train his guys on how to use the equipment and make the hose, both of his employees, Eric and Elvis, had the opportunity to use the crimp machine and are now trained on its use, it was great to see a manager who cares about his customers and his employees, hats off to Erin for a fantastic job.

Went in looking for parts which I had no clue about and they took the time explain and show me detailed instructions on the parts all are great but a special thank you to Keith and Aaron!
Whenever I have any problem with my vehicle I always take it to Aaron who works there. He's always very honest, he always is going out of his way to do what he can to help me with with my vehicle. Everyone else there is pretty ok too but he just always is the one that goes above and beyond always for me when I bring my vehicle in. So thank you Aaron, I appreciate you!
Every time I go into VIP, the employees are incredibly helpful. They are informative, I learned two new things today about their lifetime warranty on products and pricing of services.
I went in thinking I needed new breaks. It turns out that I only needed an alignment and an inspection sticker.
I needed a wiper motor overnight. O'Reilly in Calais had it by 8am next day. Unbelievable, no shipping cost either! I was impressed with the logistics! Awesome friendly service also. Great staff.

I’ll give them a 2 because they were actually able to get the parts I needed. 2 bulbs and replacement headlight trim. I’d like to give them 0 though because “those kinda headlights are hard to replace”. Oh really?? Hard for an automotive parts store??? Imagine the difficulty I have replacing them. Seeing as I have none of the tools to help me actually perform the replacement.

Once upon a time there was this thing called customer service.
This is why there are so few brick & mortar stores available. You don’t offer anything more than online companies. And with an online company I could have had all 3 parts delivered to my address instead of having to come here 3 separate times. ?
Best service we've ever received from an auto parts shop! We are tourists and have been stranded in Calais, having been towed here after our car broke down on the 9, about 30 miles outside Bangor. The folks at O'Reilly & VIP have really taken great care of us. Vicki has to be the warmest, most helpful service rep we've ever met. She went above and beyond, even providing us with her cell number should we get stranded again. Jay found us a new alternator when we were told by everyone else it would be a week before we could leave here! He's gone to Bangor to pick it up himself. Scott at VIP garage which is attached to O'Reilly, came out to look at our car for no charge, despite being slammed and understaffed that day and was the one who told us it was the alternator and not the battery. We are incredibly grateful to these folks for their kindness and exceptional service. Give them all a raise!
They provide pleasant service and if they don't have what you need they can get it in quickly. They are also honest about the quality of the products they carry and will recommend other brands if you ask.
In and out fast..... had the parts i needed..oddly enough....because it was for a '79 Ford Pinto...(1929 kit car) price wasn't bad, could have got cheaper off ebay...but..supply & demand... well need more stuff on this kit car, so, i'll be back.
Bought parts for my Canadian car here. The staff was very helpful and friendly. Prices were half what Canadian auto parts stores were asking. Got my tires rebalanced and rotated; they made quick work of that and charged me very little; what's not to like!
