Amazing fresh lobster! The lobster roll was loaded with lobster. Sm the service was great. Definitely stop here when you're in the area.

Just drove all the way up the Maine coast, saw the sights, and ate lobster the whole way. This is the spot. Beautiful atmosphere. Fresh lobster. Great portions. Good people. It felt like a totally authentic Maine lobster experience. Loved it.

Being late in the season, some menu options weren't available. But we loved the food, outdoor area for eating and sight seeing and the people! There was a wait to order and a little bit of a walk, but we enjoyed that aspect of it as well.

The view is worth the drive, but the lobsters are amazing. Right off the the boat fresh!

There is very little docking space here, so choose to go on a weekday for a better chance to get in, or drive over. The service was OK, the atmosphere is quintessential dock dining with much fried food and paper plates, but I must say the food we had was great. The fried clams were good, and not dried out, and they make the best onion rings I've ever had!

Gorgeous setting! The soft shell lobster was fantastic. The lobster roll was pretty bland and the haddock chowder didn’t have much flavor. I would definitely come back to try other menu items and for the incredible view.

You should go here to eat the best Lobsters in Maine as fresh as it could get. The corn on the cob were so sweet! Not a fancy place outdoor sitting but we loved the food. It’s self service. Would highly recommend, priced very reasonably! We didn’t know it’s BYOB

I love this place and continue to come here annually for a lobster roll and the view. Long wait times - but worth it! (I got the regular lobster roll) It was a perfect day.

A hearty spot to enjoy local seafood and dishes made from it. The fresh lobsters ? are excellent — I recommend getting two small ones, as they are actually quite big. The haddock fried sandwich and fried scallops are incredibly tasty. Around lunchtime, it gets quite crowded, and finding a table can be a challenge. Overall, the food is delicious and the prices are reasonable. The lobster roll was a bit dry and, in my opinion, not the best in Maine — but I have a point of comparison. Definitely recommended!

It is a cool place with 3 spots for food: whole lobsters, other seafood, and ice cream. We tried a bit of everything and it was all good. It was super foggy when we were there which was pretty cool. We wanted to be on the water but could barely see anything.

Great tasting lobster roll, with a beautiful view of the bay with all the fishing boats.

The best lobster roll we've ever eaten! With the added bonus of a breathtaking view of the peace of the 5 islands.

Tucked away in the scenic harbor of Georgetown, this spot delivers quintessential Maine charm. The atmosphere is laid-back and inviting, with stunning ocean views that make every bite feel special. The lobster rolls were packed with meat—fresh, sweet, and generously portioned. We also had the fried oysters, which were locally caught and incredibly fresh, crisp on the outside and tender inside. The staff were friendly and welcoming, adding to the relaxed coastal vibe. Definitely recommend!

If you're craving lobster, this is the place. The lobster is the star of the show—big, fresh, and absolutely delicious. The corn was surprisingly great too (even if we later found out it comes off a Sysco truck, which was a bit of a letdown). Non-lobster folks in our group had the fish and chips—just okay—but the onion rings were a hit. The vibe is classic New England lobster shack: casual, lively, and perched by the water with a view that’s hard to beat. Think lobster picnic with a view. The staff is mostly young and doing their best under the pressure. Be prepared for crowds. Seating is tough to snag, and food wait times ran 30–45 minutes during our visit. They might be a little overwhelmed by their own popularity. Still, if lobster is what you came for, this might just be the best place around

Unmatched Coastal Charm and Some of the Best Fried Oysters Around Five Islands Lobster Co. delivered exactly what we came to Maine for: fresh, no frills seafood in a setting that is pure coastal magic. Tucked away on the rocky shoreline with stunning harbor views, this spot is a gem. The fried oysters were a standout. Perfectly crisp on the outside, tender and briny on the inside, some of the best we have had anywhere. And of course, the lobster was as fresh as it gets. Sweet, tender, and cooked to perfection. You can taste the care in every bite. The atmosphere is casual and relaxed with picnic tables overlooking the working harbor. It is the kind of place where you roll up your sleeves, dig in, and let the ocean breeze do the rest. If you are in the area and looking for authentic Maine seafood with unforgettable views, Five Islands is a must.

Great lobster and everything else! Recommend ordering smaller lobsters and get multiple one vs ordering a big one. More meat more tenderness! Lobster is boiled to perfection (as good as steamed) and we finished everything we ordered. Great view too! Can get busy so arrive early! Parking can be tricky during busy times too so again, arrive early for best experience! Ice cream shack next door for a great after meal snack

Absolutely special. With the drive. Picturesque. Food is delicious and staff friendly. Lobster roll is very good.

Best lobster roll in Maine! Piled high on a homemade grilled potato roll. They say the lobster is sweeter in Georgetown because the water is deeper and colder. I’d have to agree. It’s window service with They outdoor seating and a BYOB policy. So much fun to sit on the water, watching the lobster boats and eat and have a beer or a glass of wine. If you need to grab a beer, there is a general store to the left of the parking lot with a great selection. I can’t stop thinking about their food!!

In my continuing quest to find the best lobster roll on the greater New England coast, Five Islands is clearly a cool place that is family/dog friendly with outstanding views. Classic order at the counter and then pick up at another counter depending on what you order. Service was fast and very friendly...even offering a treat to my boxer. Huge place with tons of outdoor seating available. The day we visited was not super busy so parking on a busy day could be crazy. So let's get down to it. The lobster roll was pretty darn good...good size, light mayo, and super fresh but mostly claw/knuckle so while flavor, freshness, buttered/grilled classic roll definitely put it in the top third range (I rank lobster rolls in range sections 1 to 3 - top range is a very good roll). The price and claw/knuckle combo put it in the lower part of the top tier. Fries were solid lobster roll fries. Whole bellied fried clams were huge and incredibly fresh...also a decent price. Wish they had a tad longer amount of time in the fryer. Always gotta try the o rings and these were very good onion rings on the thicker side with great batter to onion ratio. Again, could have used a tad more time in the fryer. Star of the day goes to the Jenny Special. Grilled Haddock with a crab cake on a nice soft buttered and grilled bun. Wasn't sure about it but do yourself a favor and try it. Would definitely return...

The line moved kind of fast and the staff are very helpful when ordering. People in front of us had a million questions.? Lobsters were awesome. We had 3.8 & 2.75 pounders. Meat was tender and filled the shell. Haddock chowder was okay. The view is quite lovely. Good ice cream across the driveway. Thanks Five Islands!

Such a fun place to stop and eat. Beautiful location and literally sitting on a dock to eat. First lobster roll ever and it did not disappoint! Very busy but moves quickly. Multiple docks and views or either side of the restaurants. Highly recommend.

This place is a perfect little in so many ways. The views are stunning, food is wonderful, and there is a pretty good amount of parking! There are three shacks to order from, which was confusing at first. One for lobsters, one for snacks and gear, and one for ice cream. They each have thier own pick up window. Lots of places to sit and enjoy the view in a quiet setting. There is a store down the walkway too if you have time. There is also extra parking at the town lot at the top of the hill. Sidenote: Drive slow coming in! The road is narrow. Cheers!

Finally made it to this spot which is on Yankee magazines 2017 Lobsterpalooza list. Like other spots on this list the location is amazing. We actually watched the owner buying fresh Lobster off the boat (see photos). Lobster roll was amazing. Onion rings SUCKED, half the basket was just fried stuff (see photo), so stick to the fries or whatever. You can also get a whole Lobster and ice cream for desert! ?

An absolute must go if you are in the area. It is the best lobster that I have ever had and they were catching them as we were eating. The surrounding area is a beautiful look at all the surrounding islands and it is much cooler over near the water. Overall one of the best dining experiences I’ve ever had.

Five Islands Lobster Co.: Lobster Rolls, Views, and a Perfect Maine Adventure! Five Islands Lobster Co. definitely lived up to the hype for some of the best lobster rolls in Maine! The drive itself was amazing - a long, beautiful road that ends right at the dock where this gem sits. The lobster rolls were incredible, but they also had some seriously good fried seafood, like the scallops, that we couldn't resist. Top it all off with the stunning island views and plenty of outdoor seating, and you've got a fantastic Maine adventure. Highly recommend!

We visited here one Sunday in late June 23’. The food was to die for. I wish I had a larger stomach because I wanted to try everything. Lobster roll was the best I have had in Maine so far. Staff was great as well. Tartar sauce was wet very good. Thanks!

Awesome little place with good food and great views. Situated overlooking the water, awesome spot to grab a bite and take in the atmosphere. Parking could be tight if the area is busy. We went about an hour before close and had no problems parking near the small pond/park on the left as you get near Five Islands.

We only have two but couldn’t say no to their food. It’s very fresh which doesn’t need too much seasoning. The deep fried scallops is also very great. It’s very hard to say which one is the best as all of them are very tasty.

Onion rings are fantastic. If they have them... seriously suggest ordering them. They cut them fresh every day. Great atmosphere. Beautiful views. Ordered Haddock fish and chips and a lobster roll. Big meaty pieces of haddock with just the right amount of batter. Lobster was very fresh and not overly covered in mayo. Really cute spot. We got here just in time before the rain hit and they shut down for the day. We got a bit confused about which building to order from. One does lobster rolls and fish fry's, the other does the live lobster plates but (obviously) we figured it out! Everyone was very friendly.

What seems like a typical tourist restaurant (it is) has an amazing menu with MANY selections, all of which taste and look great! The portions are large. Their lobster selections are as good, if not better than many other seafood restaurants! We were a party of 4 and ordered different selections, all of which were delicious. The restaurant was clean, busy and, if you have seats by the windows you can watch, through their binoculars, the Osprey in their nest on a tall pole, next to the restaurant. The views are also very nice. The service was prompt, helpful and friendly. Try it-you will really like it!
