Sold me a bad transmission had it put in within the 30 day warranty it went out said he would replace the transmission never delivered it the shop , now I'm out 600 a transmission and a car!!!thanks for the great service!! Stay away from this place!!!
We have used J&J to salvage a couple of vehicles. One for us and one for a tenant a while back. They are super responsive and fair. I would strongly recommend them for any auto salvage needs.
If your a new customer, don't bother because they don't want any new customers. Took a couple of tries, but I finally got a hold of someone on Friday, July 26th. I was told I was next in line for my car to be towed away that afternoon or first thing Monday morning. I called Monday morning (July 29th), and he said, "I can't keep up" and told me to find someone else to do it.
Exceeded my expectations both over the phone and in person. Super friendly staff, quotes match the price or discounted like I got, precise visual and mechanical inspection of parts before you buy them. Wish they had more than 5 star's, they would have gotten them all. Huge selection of used OEM car parts. Not off the beaten path either it’s just outside of town. I recommend them not that my opinion means much just an opinion of someone that doesn’t have a lot of money but still needs high quality parts. Also received a 90 day warranty on the truck rear end(GM 3:42 GU6 G80) and they pulled the cover to insure I was getting not only the right part but that it was in mint condition(other than the exterior rust from Maine’s salty roads, we all get that though). They will have my business from now on as I pass many salvage yards/ used part stores on my way here. Thank u J&J team.
I called them on November 15th to see if they could pick up my 2012 Buick Regal (still runs good) and they said yes sometime shortly after Thanksgiving. I just called to check with them (Dec 1st) and the owner was rude. He said that he had enough car's and hung up on me. What happened to good customer service?
Don't know much about them other than buying sum second hand tires from them and they sold balanced and mounted 4 tires for a jeep ah friend of mine owned for $300.00 . Tires were like new it was a fair deal that's the reason for 4 Stars..
I bought a car there. It ran and body was solid. Took it to be inspected cost me over 2000 more to get a junk car inspected. Had a reward time with registration because title was with 2 other people. These people are liars. Beware
rude on the phone for no reason once so ever. imagine having a attitude over a simple question. no place to search up parts on website, which is common for good junkyards to have.
Some of the most junk work I've ever seen has come from this place not reliable at all pretty sure doesn't do his work right so you have to keep coming back have had to keep bringing the same problems back to him and he could not have it stay up
New edit now the rear left tire is snapped in after bringing my vehicle to him he lied during the sale and sold a rust machine that can't even go on a jack illegal inspection sticker obviously can't pass inspection terrible guy
Some might have better luck but it's definitely cheaper than the other ones around. Doesn't charge for every bolt but the rear end we bought was pretty rotted. Has a 90 day warranty over the other places 30 day with just a bare tube lol. Friendly guy helped up load up. Definitely a place to consider
Very good transactions. Bought a used Hyundai that's been driven 5000 miles with no issues what so ever. I purchased 3 used tires and he repaired my front brakes on my 04 Silverado for a very reasonable price. I am a happy customer.
These guys are always on top of things when I call for a part and they have it is waiting for me to pick up at the time they said it would be ready can always count on the guys to come through need a part give them a call and prices are really good for what,you,will want to pay for great group of,guys out there try them out
Bought a Used rear end for 262 bucks after needle scaling it for hours trying to get the rust off so I could paint it, I noticed how badly pitted the axle tube was I also came across stripped out bolt holes and snapped bolts which looked like they were torched off. The Axle seals were toast and the gear oil was still full. Respectfully Brought it back to get my money back and was treated horribly by the owner. Accused me of trying to “fu*k him over “ and saying I broke stuff on it.

I really felt, from them, a personal sense of regret for our experience not being perfect, and a true commitment to our walking away from it satisfied in having done business with them.
It was as if the money was secondary to the relationship. I think they really care about the people they serve and the value they provide.
Anyone can make a sale in which nothing goes wrong and get a decent review. The true test though, of a good place to do business, is in how they handle situations in which things don't go as smoothly as one might hope.

JJ one of the best places I've did business in year the people there will answer all you're question about what parts you will need how to install them they do great work. you can get anything you will need from bumper to bumper. The prices on used part I don't think you can beat them .
Called told me max he could do was 300 and then we made appointment for next morning for him to look at the truck never even showed up I called and he said I going pass has to many car right now also never even called me to tell me that he was not coming. I say that's very rude
Very unhappy. Was told 3 days in a row would be out to look at my vehicle. Waited around no show. Called next day. They apologize. Said definitely be that night. Again no call. No show. Called again. Promised would be out to look at vehicle. Again. Waited all day. Ruined a whole Thursday night. A Friday night. And a Saturday afternoon. Waiting. With not even a phone call. Saying they would not show up. Totally dissatisfied. And not impressed with being lied to.no calls at all. Not the way to run a business.
I was told on the phone they had a part i needed, and when I arrived the man pointed me to a truck they had at the back of the lot.(i was unaware that i had to pull the part myself, so i didnt have tools). The vehicle ended up not having the part, so on the bright side i didn't need my tools. On top of all this the guy who worked there was rude.

Butch and the guys have always been helpful. My husband won't allow any one in the family to call anyone else when we need parts. They have always had our parts. My husband said Butch is very knowledgeably on parts, and the couple time we went in there all we had to do was describe the part and the location and we left with the correct part.
