I received red carpet service at this scrapyard, I didn't even have to unload my truck. The individuals running the non-ferrous metals area were polite and very informative about what scrap to look for, and how to prep the scrap for maximum dollars.
Id give a no star if i could. Weve been coming to this place faithfully the last 5 year, and The people that work there now are very rude and disrespectful. Especially the woman at the front desk she always has something ignorant to say when we go there. They screw you over on your weight and prices everything. I recommend going to any other recycling place than here. Newport metals is better than this place!
Always super friendly, helpful and will even let me know the differences between all the different wire and metal types we bring in! I dont go anywhere else!
After dealing with this company over thirty years,I was threatening by management to leave property and never return over me asking questions. I was yelled at ,cussed at and told by management never to return as he was sick of my business and complaining. Very unprofessional and I would not recommend getting into business dealings with this company.
Bangor Maine location was helpful in the drive thru but the blonde at the scale house was extremely rude. I was told that if I thought I was getting paid for my materials that she needed to see my "damn" id. Then was snapped back at when asking what the deal was. I won't be back
The women in the scale house was incredibly rude and unprofessional. The young man working there weighed our copper out weird and counted some as #2 when I'm pretty sure it should have been #1. Then come to find out they gave us a bad check!
First time scrapping while cleaning out my parents’ estate. Every staff member was very friendly & helpful. While helping me unload, 2 different employees asked if I really wanted to scrap several items as they were potentially worth money. They could’ve easily set them aside to retrieve later for themselves, but they didn’t. I will always support a company with that kind of integrity.
Highly recommend this place! You can recycle your scrap metal at a price no one else can beat and get auto parts in almost the same parking lot all with a customer friendly smile from these guys!
Took in my pops 35 lb copper 1 tweeker at scales read 17 make sure you put in middle of scales and weigh it yourself before bringing in this was his Christmas money thanx a lot. Highly disappointing ripoff
